I stood in front of her door like I have a couple times before, only this time I had a bouquet in my hand. I was practically shaking, but I was so excited to ask her! I think I've liked her for a couple weeks now.
It started when we went out for ice cream and she was laughing with me. Y/n told me I had a pretty smile. Honestly, it felt good to get a genuine compliment on one of my physical features for once. It got me all giddy.
The group chat was going off as I stood on her front porch, debating whether to ring the doorbell or to back out while I can.
Ping after ping was ringing on my phone so I finally decided to check it.
