Marinette's POV:
Adrien jumped into the pool and pulled me to the surface.
"Are you okay?? Marinette??"
I played dead as if being under water for 7 seconds could kill you.
"BOO!"
He flinched and jokingly slapped my face. Softly though, like I barely felt it.
"You're crazy!"
I laugh then we go inside.
"I'm gonna shower really quick."
"I'm gonna shower real fast."
"You can go first."
"You can go first."
We just kinda stare at each other.
We're both naked anyway.
I give him a look and he smiles.
We walk into the bathroom. His shower is huge.
His whole bathroom is huge.
"Is the water hot enough for you?"
I reach my hand under the water and it feels warm.
"Yes, thanks."
Even though his shower is huge, we stay as close to each other as we can. Hot water is falling on us like rain. We're both looking in the same direction until I turn around to kiss him.
He pushes me against the shower wall and keeps kissing me.
"Ouch!"
"What happened?"
I forgot about the punishment I received not so long ago. My ass was still red. The hot water and pressure from being slammed against the wall didn't help.
"It just still kinda hurts-"
He kisses me softly on the forehead.
"I'm sorry, baby. I won't be so rough with you next time."
"No! I mean-"
He raises his eyebrow at me.
"I don't want you to change what you do. I really like it."
"Does this help?"
He rubs his hands on my ass softly.
"Mhmm."
It does, but even if it didn't, I would still say yes because I don't want him to stop.
My legs become weak again just like they did at the pool and I almost slip but he catches me.
"Why do you keep falling?"
He chuckles.
"Falling for me all over again, princess?"
I giggle and try to stand on my own.
"I think my legs are kinda-"
He turns red.
"Really?"
I nod. I knew sometimes girls couldn't walk right after sex but we didn't even have sex and I could barely stand.
"Can we maybe take a bath instead?"
"Yeah sure, one sec."
He walks to the bathtub and starts to fill it up, he adds some body wash so it's nice and bubbly.
When it's ready, he steps in and sits down then I lay my back on his chest.
"Can you wash my hair, Kitty?"
"Mhmm."
He puts shampoo on his hand and massages my scalp with his fingers softly. He scratches my head and rubs his fingers through my hair.
He definitely didn't have to do it for so long, but he did because it was probably very noticeable how nice it felt.
He washes out the shampoo and adds conditioner, again playing with my hair much longer then he needed to.
"It's your turn!"
I climb over and behind him and wash his hair, doing as he did for me and making sure he felt nice. I run my fingers up and down his back as shampoo bubbles fall all the way down.
After we finish our bath, we get out and he gets us both towels.
We dry off and go into his room to change. I put on his hoodie and sweatpants. It's all huge on me.
"Are you staying the night?"
He looks nervous.
"I actually have to get going, a little kitty cat should be coming to see me soon."
"Haha, very funny."
I get into his bed with him and cuddle up to him super close. He wraps his arms around me.
"I love you, princess."
"I love you too, Kitty."
Adrien's POV:
In the morning, I wake up before her. I slip out of bed and prepare us some breakfast. I make us french toast. It's probably the only thing I can make decently well.
I pour us some orange juice and walk upstairs with the tray.
She's still asleep.
I set the food down on the night stand and sit down on the bed before kissing her forehead.
"Princesssss"
No reply.
I kiss her cheek this time.
"C'mon baby, it's almost 11am."
She moves a little and whines.
"Let me sleeeep."
I kiss her other cheek.
"But I made you breakfast."
I pout at her.
"Me? What about you?"
She turns around.
"Us. I made us breakfast."
She smiles and kisses my lips softly then sits up.
I place the tray in front of us and look at her for validation.
"Oh my God, did you just do all this?"
She takes a bite of the french toast.
"Mmmmm, Adrien this is so good!"
She licks powdered sugar off her lips.
"Thanks."
I hesitate to take a bite but I do and she's not wrong. It's pretty fucking good.
We finish eating breakfast and she gets out of bed. It surprised me to see her without pants on and I guess she notices because she explains herself.
"Oh sorry- It got kinda hot last night."
"No, that's fine. What do you wanna-"
"Holy shit, Adrien it's Thursday! We have school!"
Oh my God, she's right.
We scramble to collect our things and I drive us to her house so she can change and get her bag before I take us to school.
We missed the first two periods but we made it in time for our third class of the day.
We both quietly walk in and take our seats next to each of our best friends which for some reason weren't sitting next to eachother like they normally do.
Marinette's POV:
"Girl! Where have you been?!"
"I was just a little sick, all good now."
"Oh yeah? Then why'd you show up late with loverboy over there?"
I turn a bit red and shake my head at her.
"No! It's not like that! We're just friends."
"Who even are you right now, girl? Maybe hanging out with him is contagious."
I roll my eyes and smile at her.
I would tell her that Adrien is my boyfriend now but I want to be able to date Chat Noir too as Ladybug when I at some point tell him and I can't let anyone connect the dots.
Adrien's POV:
"Yo dude, why're you so late? And was that Marinette you came in with?"
Nino was half asleep on his desk when I sat down.
"Don't worry about it. Why aren't you sitting with Alya?"
"We got separated for talking dude."
I chuckle and punch his arm then give all my attention to Marinette who's sitting right in front of me.
"We're just friends."
What?
I'm pretty sure we are in fact more than just friends, Marinette.
Is she embarrassed to be seen with me?
Why doesn't she want anyone to know?
We just had the "are we official" talk and now she says we're just friends?
Okay.
We finish up class and all head to lunch.
I wouldn't go so far to say I'm avoiding Marinette, but I definitely wouldn't let Alya and Nino be in between us right now if I wasn't upset.
She walks around them and starts walking next to me.
"Hey!"
"Hi."
"Are you okay?"
I give her a look and stop walking.
"What's wrong?"
Does she really not know?
"Nothing, I just thought my girlfriend would want people to know we're together but I guess not."
There's nobody really around us. We had to stay a few minutes late because Marinette had to get a couple worksheets from the teacher for the work she missed and Nino and Alya didn't even realize we aren't by them anymore.
"Can we talk about this somewhere private?"
My eyes are starting to water.
"Why? Why are you so ashamed of me?"
"Adrien Agreste! I am not ashamed of you!"
"Then why did you tell Alya we're just friends??"
She looks at me like she doesn't want to tell me the real answer.
"Let's just go to lunch."
"Adrien wait!"
I start walking off really quickly towards the cafeteria. I can hear her scrambling foot steps behind me.
I walk into the cafeteria and get to about the center of the room when she catches up to me and pulls my arm back, turning me around.
"What?"
I say it with attitude.
She kisses me.
In front of everyone.
I kiss her back.
