It was September 27th, I was going to leave for the UK after the Emmy's Awards tonight. I wore a long flowing light - bluish dress, that had a high slit till my upper thigh, that showed off my curves just perfectly. It would be difficult for me to manage my dress for the evening and wear high heels, but eh!
I sighed as Keith adjusted my dress the minute I sat in the car. I had made Keith my personal fashion designer, since the last dress he made me wear just worked wonders. We reached the venue, I was going alone, Tom was with his date - no other than his beautiful girlfriend. Plus, a girl like me is enough for the red carpet, I don't need no man!
Mick helped me get out of the car, "Thank you, Mick" I had to wear a pair of sunglasses because it was very hot and sunny today. As we entered the venue, I quickly got rid of the sunglasses and handed it to Nina. I smiled as thousands and thousands of photographers started flashing their cameras, shouting, "Here" "Smile" "Over here" "Show off your dress"
"Y/N!" I shook my head when I heard Ellen shouting my name who was posing along with Portia. This lady never gets old! She kept shouting my name, really very loudly, not caring about any cameras or people around us. It was hard for me to keep a straight face at the way she was calling out my name.
I looked down at my dress, adjusted it a bit, turned around and posed for a couple more pictures. As I was taking a pose, Ellen photobombed my pictures, by making funny faces, standing behind me, totally oblivious to it. "You look good!" she said coming from behind me giving me a little scare. "Thank you, you look great as well" I said and we posed for a few pictures together.
"Yes, right, we have the lovely, Y/N Y/L/N, over here" Jeremy, the People's TV reporter said offering a hand to me to help me up the small stage, he looked at the camera and put a hand on the small of my back. "The three time nominee at the Emmy's for her role in Harry Potter movies. Hi, I'm Jeremy, how are you feeling?" he asked cheerfully.
"Feeling great, feeling great, absolutely love the rush that has been flowing through my body today"
"We're excited to talk to you tonight, should - should we start off with the dress?" he asked looking beside me to the beautiful dark-skinned girl standing next to him. "Yes, hi, I'm Lola, er, just like about an hour ago, I was telling Jeremy that I am most excited to see Y/n's dress, since her Half Blood Premiere dress was just off the charts, so I was determined to see you somehow or the other"
"Thank you, Lola and Jeremy. You guys look just great as well!"
Jeremy - "Everybody's been talking about the look, the minute you stepped in, the flashes from the camera just blinded my eyes"
I chuckled, "You're just being modest, but yeah, Keith has been putting a lot of thought into the dress for quite a well, so I think he deserves all the praise"
Lola - "The dress, the makeup, the earrings, the heels and let's not forget the slit, everything just exquisite from head to toe"
"Thank you, thank you"
Jeremy - "How did you go on to choose the dress?"
"Well, it just calls out to me, believe me I tried a tons of dresses before this one, some felt too short or too long or some were loose, but the minute I tried this one on, it just perfectly hugged my skin, so yeah"
Jeremy - "So, I gotta ask, now you've been attending a bunch of award shows like this, because you've won a lot of awards, so does this feel like a normal part of your life?"
"Yeah, erm, definitely, when I was younger, eesh" I said as I realized I was still young, "Like 20 or so-" Jeremy cut me off, "Yeah, like five minutes ago" I chuckled and continued, "Yeah, erm, I always wondered what it would be like to go on these awards shows, so for the first one I was very nervous"
Lola - "So, we have to talk about Half Blood Prince, did you know that you are the youngest nominee of the 61st Emmy Awards?"
"Wow, no, I had no idea"
Jeremy - "So, according to you, which scene of the film do you think may have gotten you the nomination?"
"Oof, erm, I think it definitely has to be the one where-" I was cut off by Ellen who was entering the theatre, yelling, "BYE Y/N!" We all turned around and she waved to me. I rolled my eyes playfully and saw Tom and Jade posing for some pictures, I plastered a fake smile and went back to the conversation, "I'm sorry, I lost my train of thought, where were we?"
"The scene-"
"Yeah, erm, the one where Olivia confronts about Draco being a Death Eater, definitely that one"
Lola - "Can you tell us something about the next movie?"
"Unfortunately no, I mean, we aren't under any gag orders but as I was busy here in LA completing my education, I am a little less in the next one, so I can't tell you much but that the war is very near, so there's going to be a lot of action, emotions, plot twists, yeah"
Jeremy - "So, we heard that during the fifth movie, you actually got hurt on set, is - is that true?"
"Yes, it is true. Remember the scene when Umbridge breaks the RoR, so when the wall blasts, I was supposed to turn away so the stones don't hit me, but I guess I was a little slow, so a sharp stone cut my cheek a bit and my forehead, but the scar is all gone"
Jeremy - "I would love to keep talking to you, as I am the biggest Potterhead you'll ever meet but I'm afraid we're on a time schedule. Maybe we can catch up over a cup of coffee sometime. So, let's see who wins 'The Outstanding Supporting Actress'. Thank you, Y/N, it was lovely to talk to you and as always you look beautiful"
"Yes, I would love that! Thank you, thank you again. Bye!"
I finished that interview and went to another and another and another. After answering to tons of questions, I headed in. I was seated next to Ellen, thank goodness, even if I'm an actress, I am an awkward mess around other actors and actresses, though on my right, there was Emma, but next to her, Joe Manganiello, oh my God! He looked great! Ok, let me rephrase that - HE LOOKED SEXY!!! Chris Evans - Captain America just sat behind me, I wish I sat next to him!
After a few awards, it was time for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited Series or Movie. The award was being presented by Matt LeBlanc. "The nominees for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited Series or Movie are Marcia Gay Harden, 'The Courageous Heart Of Irena Sendler'" the camera panned to her and she smiled.
"Jeanne Tripplehorn, 'Grey Gardens'"
"Shohreh Aghdashloo, 'House Of Saddam'
"Y/N Y/L/N, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince'" the camera panned to me, I gave a small smile and blew a few kisses.
"And lastly, Cicely Tyson, 'Relative Stranger'" The crowd started applauding
"And the Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited Series or Movie goes to.... Y/N Y/L/N for Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince!!"
I covered my face with my hands in shock and stood up, Ellen hugged me as well as Portia, Emma pulled me in a even more tighter hug. Joe shook my hand and I looked at my dress, (cause I didn't want to fall like Jennifer Lawrence), I fiddled with my dress, as my heel got stuck just a little. It took me a while so, "Do you need an arm, love?" I saw Chris Evans offering me his arm, so he could escort me up the stage.
I smiled and thanked him as I linked arms with him and headed on stage. I was so focused on not falling but I did, even when Chris Evans was there, "Oh God!" I said and chuckled in embarrassment. He helped me up and I went to stage. I saw the whole crowd standing and cheering for me.
"Thank you, thank you, Chris. Erm, you guys are just being nice because you saw me fall, even when Chris was being the perfect gentleman" I said but no one took their seats, "Erm, firstly I'd like to thank my Dad, I know you'll be watching this so, thank you so much, Daddy. The next one, oh, my heart's racing, erm, my family, my fellow cast members, the crew of Harry Potter and David - all of them are named David, so, I'm going to say thank you Davids, for offering this wonderful opportunity to me" I wanted to mention Tom separately, but I didn't, what I achieved today was solely mine. He broke my heart a lot of times, time to break his!
"Thank you, thank you, so much" I said and walked down the stage with Chris, upon reaching my seat, I pecked his cheek to thank him and looked at Emma, she had the biggest smile on her face.
End of Part 4! I wanted to incorporate both the things - Jennifer falling down even though that happened in like 2013 and Chris Evans helping up the stage. I've seen his videos and he is the perfect gentleman, I can't!!! The butterflies I get whenever I see that video of this. Oh and the actual winner was "Shohreh Aghdashloo, 'House Of Saddam'
