If anyone were to think that driving for 14 hours with a cat in a moving van was easy, you thought wrong. Mowgli hated being in the car. He was meowing every 5 seconds and wouldn't calm down. Sapnap had tried everything, catnip, moving the litter box to the front seat, giving his food and water. No avail, he was still crying for 2 hours until he finally decided 'I'll be nice' and went to sleep.
They had to drive separate in order for Sapnap's car to get to Florida, so they were on call the whole time just so they wouldn't get lonely. Dream was driving the car, and Sapnap was in the huge U-haul that they had rented for a week. Through the 4 hours they had been driving so far, Dream had decided to try and race Sapnap multiple times, one time he almost caused a crash by cutting Sapnap off and making him slame on his breaks. Dream got a 'you asshole you could have killed my cat' and didn't do it again.
Dream ended up exiting the freeway for no reason, making Sapnap confused, but he kept going until Dream yelled at him for not following.
"Why didn't you get off?" Dream whined into his phone microphone.
"I didn't have time, dumbass. I'll get off at the next exit, where are you?" Sapnap responded, getting into the exit lane and getting off.
"I'm at the gas station, I'll wait for you," Dream said.
"Why couldn't you go alone? And which one there are like 30," Sapnap laughed a little and stopped at the stop light.
"Uhhh it's called Tescos," he said, and Sapnap made his way to the Tescos and found the blonde. When he parked next to him, making sure to roll the windows down for Mowgli, he got out and walked up next to the blonde.
"Want to explain why we're here?" Sapnap said.
"I wanted a hug," Dream smiled, and Sapnap rolled his eyes. They hugged for a couple minutes, then went into the gas station to get some snacks and something to drink. They were back on the road in no time, Dream deciding to stay close to Sapnap just incase traffic got bad and they could potentially lose each other.
In Alabama, Sapnap was getting tired. No matter how many energy drinks he drank, he felt as he was going to fall asleep at any moment. Dream was able to convince him to pull into t hotel for the night, and they could finish the drive tomorrow. Sapnap felt bad, but obliged when Dream kept insisting. Besides, who was he to pass up an opportunity to cuddle with his boyfriend?
The hotel they stayed at was kinda sketchy. It looked like one of those places where prostitutes would work, or where drug deals would be at. It was the only place that would allow animals to sleep in the rooms, so they had to take it.
Sapnap passed out the moment he laid down on the bed. He didn't even realize when Dream came into the room, carrying Mowgli and his litter box. Dream cooed at the sleeping boy, and crawled into bed next to him. He drifted off to sleep soon after.
Waking up at around 8am, the two boys both got breakfast before hitting the road again. The only had about 6 hours left in the drive, and they could finally relax for the next few days. They stayed on the phone the entire time again. Dream deciding to try and be a speed racer like always, but this time he ended up losing Sapnap and had to pull over so he could catch up.
George, Karl, and Quackity texted them asking why they've been M.I.A for the past two days, and the two opted to joining the discord call that they were in. Quackity kept making comments about 'five outta five feral boys' and even posted a tweet.
When the dreadful hours were finally up, they parked the cars in Dream's driveway and headed inside. Mowgli was excited to see Patches again, and they quickly ran off together and continued as they never were separated.
Sapnap went to the bedroom immediately. Dream laughed at him, but opted to join as well. He sat at his computer, though. Coding a new plug in for a video they were going to record and post before things got too hectic. Sapnap fell asleep in the matter of seconds.

"There is already an offer on this house, they've offered to pay 10k over asking price. Just between us if you put in an extra 5k the owners will accept your offer right away," the realtor said to the two.
"What do you think? Do we do it?" Dream asked the man on his left.
"I think we should. I could start streaming a lot again and get that easy," Sapnap laughed.
"Want me to contact the agent with the 15k offer?" she asked. The two looked at each other again, and nodded.
"Please," Dream smiled.
"Alright, will do," she wrote something down on her notepad before looking back up. "It was a pleasure working with you two gentlemen. I'll be in touch to let you know how things go."
She showed them out, and waved goodbye once more before locking the door and getting into her own car. They drove home and relaxed.
A couple hours went by, and Dream got a call. He muted the tv and picked up.
"Hello?" he paused for a moment. "Yes this is he."
...
"Are you serious?"
...
"Of course! Thank you so much," they talked for a few more moments, and then he hung up. "We got it."
"Really? Oh my god," Sapnap stood up and hugged the blonde. They shared a kiss, then continued to hug.
"We can start moving in tomorrow. She said she'd meet us with the keys and some paperwork and it'll be ours," Dream smiled.
"This is great! Oh my god Clay this is amazing!" Sapnap was beaming with joy. He was ecstatic, buying a house with his best friend, who was also his boyfriend, what else could he ask for?
"In the morning we stop at the storage unit and get some of your stuff in, then we can start packing up my stuff and put this place up," Dream smiled, kissing the top of Sapnap's head.
"I'm super excited," Sapnap was beaming with joy.
"Me too love, me too," Dream said. The rest of their night was packing up mostly everything, the exception being necessities and some cooking ware that they'd need to make food before they started living at the new house.
In the morning, Dream and Sapnap got up around 9 a.m to go to the storage unit. They got Sapnap's old bed frame and mattress, deciding to put that one in one of the spare rooms, and his couch. They were going to use both couches since there were two living rooms.
They met the realtor at 10, signing some papers to make the purchase final, and then they got handed the keys. She waved and said goodbye before they started to move some things in.
Around 1, they called a moving company to help. Of course, they could have done it themselves and save the money, but they needed the help or else it would have taken weeks. While Dream stayed at the new house, Sapnap went back with half of the movers and started packing up Dream's house.
Everything except Dream's bed was taken out of the house. They decided to spend one more night there before hiring someone to clean, and then to put it on the market.
When Sapnap got back to the new house, his PC was in his 'office' which was also a guest room and his bed was in there, the second office was almost finished, Dream's set up being moved in as they speak, and the real guest room, or Kat's room, was all set up, the bed, nightstand, TV, and the wardrobe all situated.
The first living room, which was downstairs, was all decked out with Dream's couch, the coffee table, all the bookshelves and little knick knacks, and the TV and the stand. The second living room, it was upstairs, had Sapnap's couch, the small table he had, and the extra TV.
The movers left around 8:45 that night, Sapnap and Dream deciding to go get some food before heading back to their now home. They fell asleep almost immediately when they hit the bed.

"Hey hon, I have a dentist appointment, I'll be back in a bit," Sapnap yelled from the kitchen of their new home.
"Alright, can you stop at the store and get a few things? I'll text you some stuff," Dream responded, he was in the living room watching a football game.
"Of course, see you soon," he yelled back, going out to the driveway and getting in his car.
Sapnap, well he lied about having a dentist appointment. He doesn't have one until next month, instead he's getting Dream's birthday present. Well, part of it at least. Dream's birthday wasn't for another week, and a week is how long he needed for it to heal.
He pulled into the piercing shop parking lot, taking a deep breath before getting out of his car, and walking through the front door.
"Hey! You must be Nick, correct?" the man at the front desk asked.
"Yessir," Sapnap responded.
"Alright, I got you scheduled for a tongue piercing, correct?" he asked.
"Yep! It takes a week before I can like, kiss someone right?" he asked, hoping he would be able to kiss Dream for his birthday.
"Yes, we recommend a month but kissing with tongue isn't too bad, will just irritate the hole a little bit and cause swelling," the man explained. "By the way, my name's Tyler, I'll be piercing you."
"Nice to meet you Tyler," Sapnap extended his hand, the two shook hands before going to the chair.
"And to add on to what I was saying earlier, I am not going to assume anything about you but if you are to engage in any sexual activities that includes you mouth, like sucking dick or eating someone out, make sure to rinse your mouth thoroughly with mouthwash and gargle salt water," Tyler explained.
"Ok good to know. This is going to be like a birthday present for my boyfriend so like," Sapnap laughed a little.
"Oh he'll love it. Trust me, it's the best thing out there. My wife has one, and wow it is wonderful," Tyler laughed. "Alright, can you just swoosh this around in your mouth then spit it out in that sink."
Sapnap got handed a mouth of very spicy mouthwash, and then he returned to the chair. He was asked to stick his tongue out, and then it was dabbled dry with a paper towel, and then marked with a marker.
"I'm going to place the clamp now," Tyler said, doing as he told. "And now for the needle, deep breath in, and out."
As he breathed out, the needle was shoved through his tongue. He flinched, a lot more pain than his ear piercings, but it wasn't too bad. The jewelry was put in, and the ball was screwed on, and then he was done.
"You did great, man," Tyler said, taking off his gloves. He lead the two of them back to the front counter. "It'll be 65 even."
Sapnap inserted his card into the reader, and pulled a ten dollar bill out of his wallet as a tip. He was handed a guide on how to properly clean the piercing to make sure it didn't get infected, and Tyler even gave him a bottle of mouthwash.
"Tell your boyfriend I say happy birthday," Tyler said as he was exiting from the door.
"I will, thank you man," Sapnap smiled goodbye, and got back into his car. He stopped at the store getting the things Dream asked for, and an extra bottle of mouth was because well, he'll need it next week.
He got back to the house, and Dream, well he was in a mood.
"How was it," Dream asked, coming up behind Sapnap and starting to kiss his neck.
"Mm, fine. I had a cavity or something so doc said I can't kiss you for a week," Sapnap explained.
"Wait for real?" Dream pouted. "But my birthday."
"It's ok, I scheduled it so that I could still do something special for you," Sapnap reminded. "But, I can make out or suck you off for a week."
"Ugh fine," Dream whined. He continued to kiss the burnett's neck, making him exhale a deep breath.
