I walked back into the bedroom and saw them still watching the movie.
"Are you okay?" Kaiden asked me.
"Yea...dawg...I'm chillin." I replied. I am so good at this.
I went back to my spot and tried falling asleep in the weirdest position ever.
My legs were on a cabinet, my head was on the floor, and my body was on the sofa.
It was oddly comfortable.
Raphael was passed out on the bathroom sink counter.
Kaiden was taking up the whole bed.
My parents are going to kill me if they find out I'm sleeping in the same room as two boys.
No, they'd kill me if they even found out that I left my room.
I need to see the doctor again.
But I don't want to because whenever this happens my mom locks me up in my room for 1 month.
So I can't tell anyone. We all have to keep this a secret, okay besties in my brain?
I finally fell asleep after hours of coughing.
When I woke up, it was 5 AM and I had to sneak back into my house.

"Pss...Kaiden, I need to go home." I whispered to him poking his back but he grabbed my waist and pulled me onto the bed.
Now I'm in bed with a boy?!

He had a death grip on me.
I screamed into his ear.

"What the fuck?" He asked waking up.
"Morning!" I said.
Raphael fell off the counter and landed butt first onto the ground.
"I need to go home," I told them.
"I'll take you," Kaid told me.
We walked downstairs and passed Raphael's mom.
"Morning Ms.McKay," Kaiden told her.
"Morning!" I said.
"Good morning! Do you want breakfast?" She asked me,
"No thanks! I need to head home." I told her.
"Okay well come back anytime." She said and I could see that she was being genuine.
I smiled at her and we left.
"I wish I could fly," I told Kaid.
"How come?" He asked me.
"So I can fly," I replied. It's very self-explanatory, I think.
I opened my door to sneak upstairs but all of a sudden the lights turned on.
Oh no.
"Lilac Leilani, where the hell have you been?" My father asked.
"I went on a run." Good lie.
"No, you didn't. You weren't in your room last night." My mom said.
"Oh umm."
"You don't have to tell us where you were, but you're grounded for 2 weeks." She told me.
"What's grounded?" I asked.
"You can't leave your room or use your phone for 2 weeks." My dad explained.
Oh, I always do that, that's easy.
"Okay," I replied, handing my mom my phone, and ran to my room.
I don't feel good.
I went to my bathroom and started coughing, blood falling onto the sink. This is horrible.
I got into my bed and went to sleep.

I got back to Raphael's place and he was FaceTiming his—I honestly have no idea.
I decided to text Lilac. What if I'm too clingy. Ehh whatever.
"Hey."
Five minutes past and there was no response.
She left me on read.
Of course, she has her read receipts on.
"Is Lilac answering your messages?" I asked Raphael.
"Let me check." He replied and texted her.
20 minutes passed and Lilac left him on read too.
Why the hell is she avoiding us?
I decided to call her, maybe then she'll answer.
She finally picked up.
"Lila-."
"Who is this?" A man's voice asked.
"Lilac's friend from school. Who is this?" I asked.
"Her father. Do not call her. Delete her number from your phone." He said.
What the fuck?
"Where's Lilac?" I asked him.
"She doesn't want to speak to you anymore." He replied and hung up.

I was wrapped in my purple blanket and it felt like someone was stabbing my chest with a knife.
I looked at the time and saw that it was 11 A.M.
Is it the next day already?
I slept for more than 24 hours?!
I forgot how much pain I'm in when it comes back.
My parents don't take me to hospitals, they say it's not safe. That why they have their own medical room inside the house.
But I'm grounded so I can't leave my room.
I really want to see my friends.
I started coughing again and my throat was killing me.
I don't like this.
I went back to sleep as tears fell down my cheek.

It's been 2 whole weeks since I saw Lilac. I decided to give her space, maybe we were getting too close to her and she got scared.
But now I'm getting worried.
"But bro, what if she's dead or worse, she doesn't like purple anymore?!" Raphael asked me through the phone.
"She's probably okay. You're worrying for no reason." I told him.
"You're not worried?" He asked me.
"Obviously I am. But I saw her enter her house, why would she be in danger in her own house?" I replied.
"I'm going to knock on their door." They said.
"Raphael no-." But he hung up.

"Mom, I'm going out!" I yelled out as I wore my shoes.
I ran to her house and knocked on the door.
A lady, who looked nothing like Lilac answered the door.
"Who are you?" She asked.
"Hi, I'm Raphael a friend of Lilac. Is she here?" I replied.
"Yes." The lady replied.
"Can I see her?" I asked.
"RAPHAEL!" Kaiden yelled pulling up to Lilac's house.
"No, she's busy." The lady said.
I'm about to knock that bitch out.
"Okay sorry for wasting your time," Kaiden said and grabbed me.
The door closed and we walked away.
"What the hell?! That lady is weird." I told him.
"That doesn't mean we can enter her house." He replied.
