It was the end of July, only a few scenes were left for the movie, we were going a little behind schedule because of me and my absences. This scene was a ball scene where again I was going to sing, "Okay, Y/N, check you mic once and you know the rules" David said and the assistant helped me with my mic.
"Okay, mic is perfect, your hair is as well, come twirl around once, let me see the dress" David said and I held his hand and twirled around. I wore a black, one shoulder dress that had a slit on the right side.
"Okay, everyone take positions! Let's go, quickly!" David said and I climbed on the stage with the help of the assistant and took my position. "Y/N, fix you hair, I can see your mic, yeah, okay, that's perfect. Let's go! Scene 109 take 1 - Action!"
"Very well, Miss Montgomery" McGonagall said and started giving her welcome speech and how we should enjoy ourselves and be brave and all that stuff. "Now, I'll hand over the show to our lovely lead of the choir" she said and I got up to sing.
I held on the mic with both hands and looked for one particular person in the crowd. When my eyes met his for a spilt second, I smiled and the music began playing.
"You got a cold, cold heart... Do you feel at all? You build a house of cards but it's gonna fall
You think I don't see who you really are, I got news coming... I've seen it all from the start" I was staring at Draco while he looked at me in shock, like he knew what I was talking about.
"I know all your secrets" He looked at me wide eyes.
"I know all your lies... I know where you keep 'em. Buried deep inside. No, you can't hide your secrets and lies... Secrets and lies" I lowered my gaze to his forearm and scoffed just a little. I closed my eyes and continued with the song.
"Wish on your lucky stars... 'Cause it's all you got. Won't get you very far when the music stops. You think I don't see who you really are... I got news coming. I've seen it all from the start" I opened my eyes to look at him again.
"I know all your secrets... I know all your lies... I know where you keep 'em... Buried deep inside

I closed my eyes once again because of tears filling in. The music stopped for just a moment and began again at a very slow sound, so that my voice was more audible. "You got a cold, cold heart, you build a house of cards... I know all your secrets... I know all your lies... I know where you keep 'em buried deep inside. No, you can't hide your secrets and lies"
I opened my eyes and looked at Draco who looked a mixture of enraged and sad and disappointed and hate. The whole crowd erupted in applause while Draco left the room loosening his tie. I wanted to go behind him, letting him know that I was okay with whatever he had, not ashamed, that I would love him no matter what. But this time, he needed to come to me. At his own pace, at his own time.
"Cut! Let's head to the Gryffindor Common Room set" David said clapping his hands once. We completed that scene and headed for mine and Tom's next scene. "So, are you ever planning to visit Timber again?" Tom asked as we got ready for our scene. "Oh, how is she?" I asked giddily. "She's great but she's growing, you better see her before she turns to a full doggo" Tom said making me smile.
"Ok, there's something I'd like for you to listen to, so how about you come over and also see Timber?" he asked hopefully. "Alright, sounds like a plan" I said and we entered our scene. "Let's do this in one take. Action!" David said enthusiastically.
I had a fire whiskey bottle in my hand and my legs taking me somewhere. They didn't stop until I knocked on a familiar door. The door opened revealing a beautiful blonde half asleep. He was shirtless - only in his boxers. His hair was all over the place while he was blinking to look at me.
"You!" I yelled a little causing him to open his eyes widely and pull me in. "I was perfectly happy before you came along" I said stumbling a little and sitting on his bed. "You know I love you, but you still don't say it back" I took a sip from the bottle. He tried to snatch it away but no luck.
It hurt me so much to say this line because it was so true.
"And I know you smelled someone in potions" Another sip. "It was Parkinson, wasn't it?" Another sip. "I may be drunk, but I know that much, that I am better than her" I said gulping the whole drink down my throat.
"Alright, let's get you back to your common room" he said taking the empty bottle from my hand and placing it on his table. "I don't wanna go there" I whined, my words slurring. "You don't have a choice" he said pulling me up. I stumbled into his arms and looked at him.
"Oops" I said giggling a little. He sighed and shook his head at my childishness. He put me over his shoulder and led me out of the dungeons. "Hey!" I said hitting his back lightly and telling him to put me down.
"Cut! Let's try it again, Y/N, when you say that he doesn't love you back..." Oh it is like someone is scrapping my open bleeding wound with a sharp knife. I nodded but I didn't listen to what he said. We re-did the scene.
The next scene was when Olivia is angry at the trio because they didn't support when she used to go to Draco's room to help him. I know we finished that scene days ago but it is how it is, nothing was happening as per schedule this movie. "Action!"
I ran up to the Astronomy Tower and broke down. It was too much. I sat near the railing staring at the dark sky and playing with my Patronus. The lioness was playing around the balcony and would jump at me, and climb into my lap and dance around me, making me smile.
I was laughing when a voice said, "What is that?"
"Draco!" I exclaimed when I saw him and my Patronus vanished. "Where did she go?" he asked pouting a little. "That was my Patronus" I said as he sat down beside me. "You can conjure one?" he asked and I nodded. "Expecto Patronum" I said and the lioness flew out of my wand and started running around the room.
"Huh, a lioness for the Gryffindor Queen, isn't that fitting?" he said making me smile. He said exactly what I thought he would when he would see it, a year ago in the DA.
"What are you doing here?" I asked and he sighed loudly. "Couldn't sleep" he said and looked at me. "Why were you crying?" he asked and before I could ask how he knew, he cut me off. "I know, I can always tell" he said and I smiled. "I'm just tired" I said and sighed loudly.
"Of everything. Of Harry. Of Ron. Of even Hermione. Even life itself" I said which made Draco come closer to me as I indirectly said I had given up on my life.
I had actually given up. Just because I was acting normally doesn't mean that I'm okay. I was tired. Of Tom. Of Jade. Of work. Of Harry Potter. Of drama. Of commitments to work. Of everything.
With tears in my eyes, I looked at him. "Never ever say that" he said sternly. "Had a stupid fight with Ron" I completed as the lioness sat in my lap. "Why?" What should I tell him? I can't tell that I come by his dorm almost every night and relieve him from his nightmares.
"Erm, he thinks that I spend a lot of time with Slytherins, that maybe I should ask the hat to re-sort me and I'd be put into Slytherin and that they wouldn't lose a valuable Gryffindor" I said looking at the sky with tears in my eyes. "Well, they aren't wrong" he said and I looked at him.
"I mean not the valuable part, but I do believe that you would've been great in Slytherin or even Hufflepuff, considering you're so kind, but of course you are brave and have all the Gryffindor qualities, I still think that you would've done better in Slytherin" he said putting a hand on my thigh.
"Well..." I said and looked back at the sky, "You know, at the time of my sorting, I was more of a Slytherin than I was a Gryffindor" "WHAT?" Draco yelled making me flinch. "Jeez, Draco. Calm down. We're out after curfew" I said and he squeezed my thigh.
"You're telling me after 6 years, that you could've been in the most prestigious house and we would've been together way before we actually did and that I could've seen more of you and touched more of you and would have all the classes together and would've sat next to you in lessons and would've sat in the Great Hall together and would've been in the Quidditch team and-"
I cut him off by putting my lips onto his. He cupped my cheek in response and I knew he didn't wanna pull away. I placed myself in his lap, still continuing the kiss. "Damn you, Montgomery" he said and I pulled away. "Well, if you hadn't been such a jerk to me in the first place, I would've considered saying yes to Slytherin" I said putting my arms around his neck, while his went around my waist.
"What do you mean?" he asked furrowing his eyebrows. "Well, the Sorting Hat asked me, well not like asked me, but it told me that I was 39% Slytherin and 38% Gryffindor, so I whispered, 'not Slytherin' and then it placed me in Gryffindor" I said playing with his hair a little and then looked at him.
"If you hadn't been a jerk in the train and at the platform and in the hallway, I would've considered Slytherin" I said and smiled. He pulled me in for another kiss. "Can you teach me?" he asked after pulling away. "Teach you what, love?" I asked sweetly and he smiled.
"The Patronus Charm" he said and I got off of his lap.
"Alright, this is advanced stuff, Draco. Very, very advanced. But it shouldn't be a problem for you, Mr. Outstanding-in-every-OWLs" I said making him chuckle and roll his eyes. "Alright, firstly, the Patronus charm helps you defend yourself from dementors and other dark stuff. Let's start with incorporeal Patronus. The hand movement is like a circle. You have to think of a happy memory" I said and he nodded.
"Expecto Patronum" he said and with a flick of his wand, a blue-silver light emerged from his wand but it vanished away quickly. "A stronger memory, Draco" I said holding his arm and he tried again. A huge blue-silver light emerged from his wand and stayed for a while.
"That's great!" I exclaimed at his effort.
"Now, for the corporeal or the full bodied Patronus. You need to allow your body to fill up with the happiest memory you have. Can you do that?" I asked as I knew he had been drained of any happy memory he had. "Yes" he said looking at me, "Expecto Patronum" he cast the spell still looking at me. A roaring dragon emerged from his wand and flew around the room. Him and I both looked at it in awe.
"That's wonderful, Draco!" I said still looking at the dragon. "Thank you, darling" he said breaking his concentration and looking at me. "Anything for you" I said as I snuggled into his arms.
Literally, anything for you.

"Oh, we need to stop by my house, I bought Timber some toys, so, let me take those" I said sitting in the passenger seat as Tom started the car. "What? More toys? You sent some last week, you're going to spoil her, Y/N" Tom said as we pulled out of the parking lot. We made a stop by my house, I picked up two bags of toys for my puddles and headed to Tom's home.
"Hi, puddles" I said as Timber jumped on me. Tom was right, she had grown quite a bit. Tom and I had some pizza and headed upstairs to one of his bedrooms that he had now turned into a studio.
"Okay, you sit there" he said pointing at the chair that was behind a mic stand, Tom sat on the one that was in the front. He picked up his guitar, "Well, I wanted to surprise Jade with this song on her birthday" he said tuning it out. "Oh" is all I said. Timber went to Tom, "Come here, girl, play with this chew toy" I said but before giving it to her, "Sit" I said and she quickly obliged.
"So, it's like a medley, I mean, maybe I'll make a few songs in the future about it. But right now, I only want her to know, so please I want your honest opinion" Tom said and started playing.
"And I remember sharing lips with her... The coming weeks were to be a blur. 'Cause time with her is like no other – She can make a winter's day feel like the summer" he sang closing his eyes. I quickly wiped the single tear that escaped my eyes.
"And it's oh so nice to have her alone, 'Cause you know I made her leave her mobile phone at home. The clock's ticking, but I don't mind... Because there's no one else I'd rather share my time" Instead of me loving the song, the lyrics were actually hurting me.

He played the guitar for a while and looked at me, I gave him a thumbs up and he continued.
"Let me take you out, I asked her. Then that we couldn't go any faster... I picked her up but barely 'cause London roads really do scare this country boy" he sang making me chuckle lightly.
"'Cause I was in the right place at the right time, that day we spent together... There's nowhere else I'd put myself or to share the day with anyone else... Right place, right time"
Ouch! He played a slower tune now, he adjusted his guitar a little but still continued. He closed his eyes and my eyes teared up.
"Now I wish I knew everything there is to know about you... I want you to see just exactly what you mean to me... And you, you think you know me, yeah, I guarantee there's a lot more to see. And you, you don't believe it's true but if I'm dreaming... I'm dreaming of you"
"And I wish that I could hold your hand, feebly the the sand... I wish that I could drive you in my car to kiss you under the stars"
I can't take this....
Before he could continue, I grabbed my purse making him look at me, "She's going to love it" I said with my voice breaking and left. "Y/N!" I heard Tom call me, I also heard Timber run behind me but I quickly went down the stairs and out the house.
