As Hinata became a fit of laughter and giggles, he began to try and tickle Kageyama back, only to have him pin his hands above his head and putting his head on his shoulder as he joined in Hinata's laughter.
"We need to stop, " he said as he calmed down. He lowered his head down onto Hinata's chest and laid his head down, and listened to his heartbeat.
Hinata let out a sigh and put his arms around Kageyama.
"I'm tired, " he said quietly.
"Yeah, " Kageyama said softly, and the two of them fell asleep.
A few hours later, everyone else came back from school. Everyone walked into the living room to find the pair on the couch. Suga smiled a bit before putting a finger to his lips to shush everyone. He grabbed a blanket and draped it over them. Then everyone went into their rooms.

The next day Kageyama and Hinata decided to go to school. Hinata couldn't practice or do anything too active, but He was still happy not to be stuck in the house again all day.
He and Kageyama got ready and put on their school uniforms and headed downstairs to meet everyone and walk to school together.
Once Daichi and Suga were ready to go, they all left and headed to Karasuno.
They got to the gym, and everyone went to the club room to get dressed for practice. Hinata started to feel left out. He wanted to practice, and watching everyone get to do the one thing he wanted to do more than anything was beginning to frustrate him.
He grabbed a ball and sat against the floor against the wall. He rolled the ball on the floor back and forth between his hands. Takeda noticed Hinata's sad demeanor and walked over to him.
"I'd sit down there with you, but I don't think it ill able to get back up, " He said with a smile as he motioned to his rather large stomach.
Hinata let out a sigh.
"I want to play."
Just then, everyone came into the gym and began to set up for practice. Takeda felt bad knowing how badly Hinata wanted to join them.
"Would you want to come to the office with Yachi and me? We have to pick up some things."
Hinata shook his head. Even if he couldn't play, he could still watch, and to him, that was better than nothing. Takeda smiled at him.
"Okay, just let me know if you change your mind, " he said, then headed with Yachi to go to the office.
Hinata watched as everyone practiced. He watched Kageyama set the ball, and Asahi spiked it over the net to Noya, who was on the other side. He watched as Noya almost messed up the receive. He seemed off like his head wasn't in the right place.
Suddenly Hinata felt the presence of someone beside him. He looked up to see Yamaguchi taking a drink out of his water bottle and sliding down the wall next to him.
They both sat in silence and watched everyone continue to practice.
Hinata was still aimlessly rolling the ball in between his hands. Yamaguchi rested his head back against the wall.
"Does Noya seem off to you?" Yamaguchi asked as he watched as everyone continued to practice.
Hinata stopped rolling the ball and began to watch as Noya seemed to struggle, which was unlike him.
"Maybe somethings bothering him?" Hinata said a bit inquisitively.
Just then, Kageyama came running up to them and knelt down in front of Hinata, and grabbed his water bottle. Hinata noticed him panting a bit.
"Are you okay?" he asked, a bit concerned.
Kageyama closed the top of the water bottle and put it down.
"Yeah, it's just hotter in here today."
Tsukishima also ran over and sat down next to Yamaguchi and took the water bottle out of his hands.
"I heard Kiyoko talk to coach Ukai about the AC being broken, " he said and handed the water bottle next to Yamaguchi.
"It doesn't feel any different to me, " Hinata said, somewhat confused as to how it could be hotter to them but not to him.
Kageyama quickly touched his forehead to see if he was warm.
Hinata pushed his hand away.
"What are you doing??"
"Trying to take your temperature, dumbass, " Kageyama said, somewhat annoyed and worried.
Hinata rolled his eyes, a bit aggravated at the over protectiveness.
"I'm fine, "
Kageyama sighed and stood up. He offered Hinata his hand to help him up, which he took.
"I'm fine; you can stop worrying now, " Hinata said as he stood up and pressed his head to Kageyama's chest.
Kageyama sighed.
"We should go to class."
Hinata nodded, and they headed to the club room so Kageyama could change out of his gym clothes and back into his school uniform, then they headed to class.

Several hours later, it was time for lunch. It had begun to rain. Hinata and Kageyama stayed in their classroom to eat their lunch since they couldn't sit on the roof in the rain, and Hinata couldn't really practice. Hinata sat at his desk and stared out the window in the direction of the Gym as the rain came down, gently hitting the window.
Kageyama had turned his desk, so it was facing Hinata's.
"You need to eat," He said, realizing that Hinata was just staring out the window and hadn't even touched his food.
Hinata turned his head and looked at his bento that Kageyama had actually made for him with Rice, soft boiled eggs, and Orange slices. Hinata sighed as he took his chopsticks and picked up an orange slice. Just then, Tsuki and Yamaguchi came into the classroom they were in.
"Isn't that cannibalism?" Tsuki snickered as he and Yamaguchi sat at a couple of desks next to them.
Kageyama rolled his eyes while Hinata stayed silent.
"Hello, is it okay if we join you too?"
They heard Suga ask as he and Daichi came into the class and sat at a couple of desks next to everyone.
Suga took notice of Hinata's sad demeanor. Just as he was about to say something, they heard the sound of Noya's voice as he came into the class.
"Hey! " he said excitedly, seeming to be his usual self and in a better mood than he had been earlier.
"Hey, " Suga and Daichi replied in unison.
"Wheres Asahi?" Yamaguchi asked, taking note of Asahi's absence.
Noya rubbed the back of his neck nervously.
"Probably where we usually meet and eat lunch... I didn't go to meet him. I actually wanted to talk to Suga about something."
Everyone stared at him with concern. Suga stood up from the desk he was sitting at and ushered Noya into the hall so they could talk.
Daichi let out a sigh and took out his phone.
"I should probably Text Asahi, so he doesn't worry."
Suga and Noya were out in the hall. Noya slid down the wall and rested his head against it. Suga sat down next to him.
"Alright, spill it, " he said, beginning to not like this situation.
Noya let out an exasperated sigh.
"I want to ask Asahi to mark me permanently, but every time I try to, it's like he gets anxious and just avoids the subject. But he's graduating..." he turned his head to Suga, and Suga could see the frustration on his face. Almost like he was doing everything he could not to scream.
"Have you been direct with him?" Suga asked.
Noya arched a brow.
"It's me we're talking about. I even spoke to Tanaka and Eennoshita... But Tanaka's advice didn't help."
Suga Rolled his eyes.
"I think you should think about the way Asahi would feel comfortable with you asking."
Noya was quiet for a minute as he thought.
"I think I have an idea... But it will only work if we don't go to practice today."
Suga arched his brow and smirked.
"Oh, so you want to be alone."
Noya laughed.
"No, actually, tonight it's mine and Asahi's night to make dinner, and if we practice, won't have time."
Suga thought for a minute.
"So you need an excuse to miss after-school practice?"
Noya nodded.
"Okay, I have an idea, " Suga said and smiled. "Just roll with it."
"Roll with what?" Noya asked with a bit of concern with the mischievous in Suga's voice.
"I'm going to have Daichi say-" Noya stopped him.
"Don't do anything that will make him worry, " he said worriedly.
Suga laughed.
"Don't worry; it won't be bad."
Just then, they saw a very worried Asahi coming down the hall towards them.
"Yuu, are you okay? I was worried until Daichi said you were here."
Noya jumped up and smiled.
"Yup! I'm fine! Just had to talk to Suga about something, sorry."
Asahi smiled, relieved.
"Okay, " he said and sat next to him on the floor.
Suga stood up.
"I'm going to go back to Daichi and my lunch; you two can join us if you want to."
"No, we're good, " Noya said, and Suga went back into the classroom.
After school, everyone met up at the gym. Daichi pulled Asahi and Noya aside.
"Can you two do me a favor?" he asked.
Asahi nodded.
"Our neighbors said they couldn't find their cat Timmy and asked is one if we could go home and see if he's in our yard, " Daichi said.
"Yeah, we can!" Noya said, not wasting any time. Asahi nodded as Noya grabbed his hand and pulled him towards the school gates.
When they got to the packhouse, Asahi and Noya went to the backyard where the pool and volleyball court were to see if they could find Timmy.
They looked in the bushes and by the pool. Then Noya saw him lying on the wall, swishing his tail mischievously. Noya started to laugh. Then before Asahi had any warning, Noya pushed him into the pool.
"Yuu, what are you doing?" Asahi asked, confused as he stood in the water. His bun had come undone, and his long hair was hanging in his face.
Noya jumped into the pool with him.
"Sorry, " he said as he still laughed.
Asahi also started to laugh and splashed some water at him.
"Asahi!" Noya laughed as he jumped into Asahi's arms.
Asahi kissed the top of his head.
"We should go in and get dried off, "
Noya nodded.
The two of them headed into the house and upstairs to their room. Asahi took a towel and started to dry Noya's hair off.
Noya pushed Asahi down onto the bed, so he was sitting and sat on his lap.
"Yuu?" Asahi said and put his hands on Noya's waist.
Noya put his head in the crook of his neck.
"Asahi... I want you to permanently mark me during my next heat.
Asahi was quiet; the silence started to make Noya a little upset. He moved his head to look into Asahi's eyes.
"Why don't you want to permanently mark me?" he asked with some hurt in his voice.
Asahi wrapped his arms around him and pulled him closer to his chest.
"It's not that I don't want to... I'm just-"
"Worried? Noya interrupted him.
"Yeah, "
Noya could hear the nerves in Asahi's voice. He let out a sigh. And put his head back in the crook of Asahi's neck.
"Come on, Asahi... It's not like you're going to hurt me, " he said.
"What if do? What if I bite down too hard."
Noya couldn't stop himself from laughing at The seriousness in Asahi's voice.
"You mark me every month. It's not that much different."
"You really want me to permanently mark you during your next heat?"Asahi asked for some reason, unsure what else to say.
"Yeah, I really do, " Noya said put his forehead against Asahi's.
"Okay, " Asahi said softly and brought Noya into a kiss.
Just then, they heard the sound of everyone getting home from practice.
"We should go make dinner, " Asahi said, breaking the kiss.
"Only if you promise we can finish this later," Noya said with a smirk.
Asahi nodded and laughed, and he and Noya got off the bed and headed downstairs.
