Marinettes pov
Before I knew it, Alya was climbing up the stairs to my room. Yeah, she had a house key. "I'm here!!" She exclaimed before running to me and giving me a hug. "Oh girl I'm so excited to spend the night it's been a minute since we have" I chuckled lightly. "Yeah, definetly. Want to go get like, ice cream or something? We could invite the boys!" I said happily. "Yeah, that sounds fun!" Alya set her bag down, then we both picked up our phones and opened the group chat.
Marinette: Nino, Adrien, want to go get some ice cream with Alya and I?
Nino: I'm down :) what time?
Alya: How about 4?
Nino: Works for me, now we just gotta wait for Adrien's answer
Adrien: yeah sure, I'll be there :)
Marinette: Awesome!
Alya and I decided to get ready, and to wear something other than our daily clothes. I pulled out a pink skater skirt from my dresser, along with a cute cropped strawberry polo shirt with laced decoration on the rim of the collar, sleeves, and bottom of the shirt. I changed into it, but it just felt to.. plain. It needed more to it. I grabbed some cute knee-high pink and white striped socks and a white beret. Much better. I grabbed my pink flats and added them to the outfit, then turned to my mirror. "What do you think, Alya?"
Alya turned around and her jaw dropped. "Adrien's definetly going to fall for you if he hasn't already" I couldn't help but blush. She knew he was my crush, infact almost everyone did. I'm surprised he hasn't figured it out yet! Alya changed into a cute strapless sundress with some fall leaves on it, along with some black boots. She twirled around for me and then we both giggled. "Ninos going to adore it!" We checked the time, and decided to head out since it was almost 4. We headed over to Andre's and sat on a near by bench until Nino and Adrien arrived. We had some small talk, and cracked a few jokes. "Hey.. is that.. Agreste?" Alya said, looking behind me in pure shock. I turn around to see Adrien wearing backwards black cap, with a white button up, half tucked into his black ripped jeans, and a pair of black shoes. I immediately turned back to the way I was facing before with my face bright red.
Nino was just wearing a T-shirt and some jeans, but he didn't really like dressing up so it made perfect sense to all of us, and we didn't really give a shit. That's how he was, and that's just fine. Adrien and Nino walked over and stood infront of us, Nino helped Alya up and spun her around, letting her dress twirl. "You look gorgeous, Alya" he said in awe. She giggled and shot him a thank you, then turned to Adrien and I. I was just staring at the floor completely broken, and he was staring back at me trying to figure out what was wrong.
Alya couldn't help but chuckle at us. "Adrien, I think you broke her" he turned to her and cocked an eyebrow in confusion, then she pointed at him and raised her hand up and down, signifying his outfit. He bent down infront of me on the ground and reached his hand towards my face, then lightly lifted my chin so my face would meet his. "What's wrong, strawberry? See something you like?" He asked jokingly. My face turned more red as it was, then I smacked his hand away. "You wish" I muttered, finally grabbing his hand for him to lift me up. He lifted me off the bench I was sitting on, then spun me around the same way Nino did to Alya. "You're stunning" he mumbled lightly, then brought me in for a tight hug. "T-thank you, Adrien. You don't look too bad yourself" we pulled away from the hug, then bought our ice cream.
We had decided to take a walk while eating our ice cream, since the weather was nice. Adrien and I were sharing one as Alya and Nino were sharing another. "So, Adrien what do you think about Marinette?" Alya asked with a grin. "Alya!!" I exclaimed. "she's a really good friend" he said with a soft smile. Friend. Was that all I was to him? A friend? I guess being his friend is better than being a stranger but..I just wish he saw me the same way.. I thought. I was now walking staring down at my feet, I was sobbing pretty hard but I was doing my best to hide it.
I guess nature decided to side with me, because it started raining. Hard. "We can all duck down at my place, it's not far from here!" I said. "wait" Adrien grabbed my wrist before I started to lead the way. He took off his button up, revealing a white T-shirt he was wearing under neath. He draped the button up over my head and shoulders, doing the best he could to protect me from the rain. He nodded for me to lead the way, then we all ran as fast as we could to my place. Once we got there I fumbled with my keys to unlock the door, then once we got in I slammed the door shut against the wind. At this point we were all out of breath and laughing our asses off.
"I'll call my mom for her to pick me up" Nino said, I nodded in response as he walked away from us to call his mom. "Uh I'm not sure if I can get a ride home.." Adrien muttered. "Oh, that's okay! My parents aren't home tonight and Alya's sleeping over, I could just ask if you could too if you'd like?" I said. He let out a sigh of relief and nodded. "I'll text my dad and let him know" I nodded, them Nino walked back over to us. "Hey dudes, my mom's on her way" he said. We all nodded in response, Adrien was texting his dad.
