Recap- Lexi's family shunned her because she was going to become one of the new Russian mafia leaders. Her family ignored her and took her last name away from her, she had enough and left. Before she left she gave faith a letter to give to her family once she was far away. The letter said for them to leave her alone and to not try to find her. When her family read the letter, they were heartbroken.
Lexi's P.O.V (two months after she left)
When I left them I had no idea where to go or what to do. I was staying every night in a new place so they wouldn't find me. I was doing assassin work trying to get money. I did a job and left to a new town the next day and that was my routine for a whole month.
I received an alert saying my family has been looking for me. So I dyed my hair got contacts, and lastly I changed my name to Alexia Smirnov. As far they know Alexia Garcia has disappeared off the face of the earth
After a month I was getting tired of running, so I called Diego. He allowed me to come to Russia and live with him.
I was excited to see Carlos, I haven't seen him since the party. He left that day with his family and I haven't seen him.
Faith told me that his parents were waiting until they found their son to retire. Now that they have found him they handed over the mafia to Carlos. He was the leader to the American mafia. I was so proud of him. I wish I could have told him
Carlos asked Diego if he could combine the Russian and American mafia and he agreed. The Russian-American mafia is very strong and has a lot of man power. They are the third most powerful mafia.
A few hours later
I arrived in Russia and headed towards Diego's house. I forgot that Russia was cold.
Why is it so cold?
Holy shit...I'm going to freeze
I got to the house and it's HUGE. It looks like a castle.
I knocked on the door impatiently and Carlos opened it.
"WHAT!" Carlos screamed
"What a warm welcome" I said and rolled my eyes and he just stared at me with his mouth open
"Do I know you?" Carlos asked and I smirked
"I don't know do you" I said and smiled at him
"Lexi?" He questioned...for a second I forgot I changed my appearance
"Yes sir" I replied and he just stared at me. I waved my hand in front of his face and he realized he was staring.
"OH MY GOD" Carlos screamed and ran up to me and hugged me.
"Carlos...can't...breathe" I whispered in his ear and he let me down
"Sorry" he said as he nervously rubbed his neck
We just stared at each other. He changed a lot. He got a lot of tattoos and he got more muscle. He looked hot.
"Woah...you look hot" I said but quickly put my hand to cover my mouth
Carlos just stood there laughing at me, which made me blush
"Even his laugh is hot" I mumbled
"Why thank you Lexi" Carlos said and i froze
"Did you hear what I said?" I asked nervously
"Yes. I did. No worries, you look hot too. I would smash" Carlos said which made me roll my eyes
"Why thank you for that compliment. I love that you would smash me" I said sarcastically which made him laugh.
"Let me try again. Hello Lexi you look Gorgeous, breathtaking, ravishing, delicious, amazing, like a goddess. Was that better?" Carlos said raising his eyebrows
"Yes. It was" I said while I felt my cheeks heating up
I'm so happy i am freezing because my face is already pink from the cold,so he couldn't see my blush.
Wait why is Carlos making me blush
"Want to come inside?" Carlos asked
"Yes. Please. I am freezing out here" I said as I ran into the heated house
"Welcome to Diego's humble abode" Carlos said which made me laugh
"This is anything but humble" I mumbled while looking at pictures on a table.
They are pictures of me while I was a little kid. He kept them.
"I heard that" someone said next to me which made me jump and drop the frame.
I quickly bent down to pick up the glass but a hand stopped me.
I looked up to see it was Diego.
"Didn't I teach you not to touch things that aren't yours. You come into my home and break my things. Don't touch the glass, you will get cut, a maid will come and clean it up. Also Don't mumble it's disrespectful. And this humble Adobe is your home now too. " Diego said while I look at him, I was frozen
"Welcome Princess, I missed you. I'm sorry for everything that has happened. Your room isn't ready so you will have to sleep in another room tonight" Diego said and I stood there in shock. I snapped out of it and nodded.
"Dad" I said as I ran up to him and hugged him.
He hugged me back and this was the fatherly affection I have been missing. His hugs made me feel warm and happy. I don't know why but I started crying in his arms. I missed hugs.
"Shhhh. It's ok. Let it out. I'm here" Diego whispered in my ear as he rubbed my back
I finally stopped crying and looked over and saw a confused Carlos
He opened his mouth to talk, but I cut him off
"Wait why are you here?" I asked Carlos
"I live here with Diego since I mostly am at the warehouse I don't need my own house so I just come here to eat and sleep" he said and I nodded
"My turn. Why are you crying? What happened after I left that night?" Carlos said and I took a deep breath.
"Let's go sit on the couch" I said and he grabbed my hand and lead me to the living room with Diego right behind us.
"Well. What happened?" Carlos asked and I told him everything.
The part where Matteo shunned me from the family and how my siblings refused to acknowledge me as their sister. I told him how none of them talked to me for 2 weeks and I had enough and left. By the end of my story I was crying again.
"That son of a bitch...I will kill him" Carlos said angrily as I saw his jaw tensing. I put a hand on his shoulder and he relaxes at my touch.
"Carlos. I am done with them. I don't ever want to see them again. They don't care about me..they never did. Marco broke up with me because of my relation to the Russian mafia. He didn't want to jeopardize his mafia. I left faith all alone...I'm horrible" I said while crying
"Can you believe that. He chose his mafia over me" I said and he came over and hugged me
"It's okay Lexi. I never liked Marco for you...you deserve better. I will never leave you Lexi. Never. I Promise." Carlos said which made me cry even more.
All of a sudden I started seeing black spots And then darkness
