A/N: Thank you for 16K! I have a feeling this will get to 18k by the end of the day... yes... this chapter doesn't have them reading fan fictions in it.. I'm sorry, BUT this chapter is better i promise. it's also very poorly written, i apologize, but i hope you all enjoy it. Also- slight homophobia.

July 15. Houston, TX.

"Nick! Can you come help me with something?" Judy asked, yelling for absolutely no reason thinking that he was only 10 feet away from her.

"Yeah, of course. What's up?" he asked his aunt.

"Can you drive me to the store? I want to surprise your dad with his favorite meal from when he was a kid," she smiled at the boy.

"Yeah, let me go get my keys," he went into the living room and got his keys off the coffee table, and then the two of them walked out to his car. Almost immediately, she started talking again, this time about something he didn't want to hear.

"Do you want to know about something your Uncle Henry found out?" she asked. It was a rhetorical question, even if he said no she was going to tell him.

"What happened?"

"He got a call one day. Natalia was kissing a girl back home. One of her friends. Could you believe that? Who would do that?" she was ranting about her own daughter to her nephew. "I mean, would you ever kiss a boy? That's disgusting. I mean, if it makes her happy but why would someone want to do that?"

"You know, people don't choose if they like the same gender or not. It's just something that comes naturally. Deep down they've known it their whole life but was scared to let it surface," he explained, not wanting this to be the time he told her about Clay.

"It's just, why would someone go against God like that? He made woman for men to love, not to love other woman. And same go for men, they aren't supposed to love other men that way," she scoffed.

"If God didn't want that, why'd he make her like that, then? If you're going by the bible, it says that he makes everyone. Why would he make someone like the people they do if he was against it and wanted other people to be against it?" Sapnap saw the shocked expression on his aunts face when she said that.

"Are you really saying that God wanted her to be like that? Why would you say something like that, Nicholas?" she was disgusted.

"Because it's the truth," he simply replied. "You know, I didn't want you to find out this way, but I-"

"Are you one of them?" she asked, placing a hand over her heart.

"What do you mean by 'one of them'?" he asked, knowing exactly she was talking about.

"Do you like men? Have you kissed a man besides your father?" she looked terrified, like she had just been stabbed in the back.

"So what if I have? Does that make you look at me any different? The fact that I'm happy makes you despise me?" he smirked, knowing exactly what was going to happen.

"Turn around. Take me back, now," she was gasping for air. "Nick, now!"

He listened, turning the car around at the next light, and brought her back to his parents house. She got out of his car, slamming the door, and then stomped into the house.

"What's going on? Are you ok?" Oscar, her youngest son, asked his mother.

"No, Oscar. He is one of them," she grabbed his arm and dragged him into the guest room. Natalia walked out of Max's room, a confused look on her face.

"Nick, what happened? Is mama ok?" she asked, when Nick walked through the door.

"I told her something she didn't want to hear," he smiled at his cousin. "Wanna hear a secret?"

"Yeah, ok. Are you ok?" any 16 year old would be able to feel the tension of what happened, Natalia was no different.

"Yeah, I'm doing great," Sapnap smiled. "I uh, I heard something about you, and want you to meet someone. Wanna do that?"

"What'd you hear? Did she tell you? Shit, I'm sorry. I wish I could change, I really do," she started crying.

"Hey, hey. Don't worry I still love you. I want you to meet my boyfriend," he smiled when he heard her gasp.

"Boyfriend?" she looked up, wiping the tears.

"Yeah, my boyfriend, Clay. He lives in Florida but I can call him. I know he'd love to meet you. I think he's going to come visit soon. He'll want to meet you," Sapnap grabbed her hand and lead her to the living room, pulling out his phone. He opened the facetime app, and clicked the top option.

"Hey, you ok? You don't call this early unless something happens," Dream answered, somewhat worried when he saw the girl that was crying. "Who's that?"

"Clay, this is my cousin Natalia," he introduced the two.

"Hey! Are you ok? You look like you've been crying," Dream asked, feeling bad for the girl.

"Yeah, I'm really good, actually. Are you really Nick's boyfriend?" she asked, and Dream's face lit up.

"I am. We've been dating for what, almost a month now?" Dream asked.

"Yeah, a month on the 18," Sapnap winked at the blonde. "I called you because I was driving my aunt to the store when she started ranting about how horrible it was that Nat was caught kissing a girl one day."

"She did? Need me to fly over and beat her ass?" Dream asked, but he wasn't joking. "I'm being serious, I'll drive Patches to my moms house right now and get the next flight."

"Hun, you don't need to," Sapnap protested.

"No, if someone is being rude and shaming their daughter about something she can't control, I'm doing something about it," Dream got out of his bed, and got a suitcase and started packing.

"Clay, are you being serious?" Sapnap stood up, forgetting about his cousin for a moment.

"Yeah, I am. I'll get the next flight I can. I'm not having some bitch hate her daughter for something like that. We'll show her that it's no different than a hetero relationship," Dream shoved a few articles of clothing into the bag, then went to his computer.

"You don't need to do this," Sapnap was shocked.

"I know, but I'm coming to Texas. I know how to get to your house I'll wait there until you get home," Dream was being stubborn. "Next flight is leaving in 3 hours, I'll be there in 6."

"Clay, holy shit," Sapnap was smiling like crazy. "You're really coming?"

"Of course, love. I've missed you anyway, and I've been lonely," he winked, giving Sap a picture of what he was lonely about.

"Yeah, I know you've called me begging," Sapnap chuckled. "Not that I mind, really."

"Shut the fuck up," Dream rolled his eyes, picking up the cat and walking out of his garage. "I'll see you soon, ok?"

"Yeah, yeah ok. Text me when you're landing and I'll come get you," Sapnap was still shocked that this was really happening.

"I will, talk later alright?" Dream asked, getting into the driver's seat and opening his garage.

"Of course. I'll see you soon," Sapnap hung up the phone and turned around and met the eyes of Natalia.

"He's coming to Texas? Right now?" she asked, just as shocked as Nick.

"Yeah, I guess he is. He's impulsive like that," Sapnap laughed. "Wanna come back to my place and help me clean up?"

***

"He should be landing soon," Nick said, entering the airport parking lot and parking his car. "Want to come with to baggage claim?"

"Yeah, of course," Natalia smiled and got out of the car. The two walked into the building, hanging out by the baggage claim area, waiting for a certain tall blonde to appear from the escalators. Natalia was on her phone, texting friends from back home, and didn't even realize when Nick walked away.

"Holy shit you are here," Sapnap ran into his arms, getting picked up immediately and spinned around.

"Why would I lie?" Dream smirked, walking over to the girl that was looking around for someone. "You're Natalia, right?"

"Holy fuck you're tall," she turned around and met his green eyes. "Yeah, I am. You're Clay?"

"Yes ma'am," Dream smiled, wrapping his arm around Sapnap's shoulders and squeezing. "I say we get back, yeah?"

"Yeah," Sapnap smiled, and the three walked back out to the car. Nat had never seen her cousin so happy, and it made her happy knowing that there were more people like her in the world. They were holding hands the entire way home.

"We'll come pick you up tomorrow. We can go do something while my parents are at work again, ok?" Sapnap said, turning around and facing Natalia.

"Yeah, yeah of course. It was nice meeting you, Clay," she smiled at the blonde, and got out of the car. Nick waited until she was inside to drive off.

"God I've missed you so much," Dream said.

"You have no idea how much I've missed you, too," Sapnap looked over and squeezed his hand. "I haven't slept good."

"Me either. It's hard when you don't have someone there," Dream met the brown eyes. "I can't wait to kiss you when we get back."

"I know, I can't either," Sapnap smiled, and continued to drive. "Do you want food?"

"Sure, what do you have in mind?"

"Taco Bell? That sound good it's the closest thing," Sapnap looked ahead and saw the Taco Bell on the right side of the road.

"Yeah, sounds good," Dream smiled. Sap pulled into the drive through, ordered his food and a baja blast freezie, and Dream got his as well.

They continued the drive back to Sap's apartment, and when they got there, Sapnap looked over at the man on his right and smiled.

"What?" Dream asked, confused on why he was being looked at like he was. He got his answer when Sapnap leaned in and kissed him. It lasted longer than it should have, but they haven't seen each other in almost a month, what else would they do. Sapnap was the one to pull away.

"I missed you," he winked at the blonde, and got his keys and exited the car. They were pushing each other the entire way up to his apartment, just teasing the other while making jokes. They finally got into his apartment, and began eating.

"Did your aunt really do those things?" Dream asked, still pissed off at the woman.

"Yeah. She like yelled at Nat and tried taking her to conversion therapy or something like that. When she said it didn't work they started yelling at her and then brought it up to me," he scoffed, not liking his aunt more than usual.

"Did you tell her about us?" Dream asked.

"Not necessarily. I said something about it not being a choice and she asked if I was one of 'them' or some shit, then made me drive her back to my house where I called you," Sapnap explained, taking another bite of his burrito.

"Fucking bitch. She's going to hate being in the same house as us," Dream laughed, already planning things that he was going to do just to piss her and her husband off. "Wait, this means I finally get to meet Max, doesn't it?"

"Why do I feel like you're here to fuck with my family and meet my sister more than you are here for me?" Sapnap pretended to pout.

"No. Not even close. I just want to be able to be close to your family like you are with mine," Dream reached across the table and grabbed Sap's hand. "What do I gotta do to show you that?"

"I could think of a few things," Sapnap smirked.

"You already getting all worked up?" Dream smirked.

"It's too much to handle when I'm close to you," Sapnap responded, batting his eyelashes to add to the effect.

"How about, we go brush our teeth because it would be disgusting to not, and see what happens, yeah?" Dream asked.

"You're on, lover boy."
