"Please put all devices into Airplane mode as we will be landing at George W. Bush airport soon," the flight attendant announced as the plane started to decline and go toward the ground.
It had been 4 hours since the two have seen each other. Sapnap got to the airport almost 2 hours early, so he had nothing better to do than sit and think back to all the memories they had made over the past few months. All thanks to a stupid bet that they made on stream one day. Thank god for all of that.
The past 3 months had been the best of Sapnap's life. He got to meet his two best friends in the entire world, and he even started dating one of them a week ago. Life was going, great really. It almost seemed too good to be true, if he was being honest. He made a mental note to thank George for everything, helping him out so much to get to this point and bringing him and Dream together.
Of course, there were the down sides of everything. The hardship of seeing Khai all over again, and hearing about all the shit he put Clay through. The only good thing about that entire situation is that it brought them closer together. Sapnap learned more about the situation, and he was pretty sure Dream was going to have a serious sit down with his mom and dad about it.
Sap must have been thinking and staring out the window for a good half hour, because now, they were on the ground. Back home in Houston. Sapnap made sure to turn on his data right away, and send a text to Dream letting him know that the plane has landed, and that he'll call him later.
The next 10 minutes waiting for the bridge to be set up and everything was annoying. A baby was crying due to being woken up from the abrupt landing, and there was a dog barking like there was no tomorrow. It made his head hurt more than the crying had done.
Finally, he was able to get off. Speed Walking through the the terminal, and getting to baggage claim in no time. The only downside about that was that he had to wait for the carousel to start moving and dropping the bags.
He took that time to respond to his dad's texts, and checking Twitter to see what he had missed on the plane ride. Soon, the bags started to come around, and thank god because his was the first one.
He quickly walked out to the front, finding Jilly's car almost immediately and putting his bag in the back seat, then hoping into the passenger. He let out a deep breath and hid his face in his hands.
"Rough flight?" she asked, shifting back into drive and exiting as fast as the other cars would let her.
"I don't want to be back home. Texas fucking sucks, I'm going to move to Florida some day," Sapnap whined.
"Wanna go live with your boyfriend?" she asked, tasingly.
"Yes," was all he said.
"So he is your boyfriend now?" she asked, expecting him to get upset with her for calling Clay his boyfriend.
"So what if he is? Would that change anything?" he was hoping not. It sucks enough that the family visiting is very conservative, he's going to have to keep his love life to a minimum.
"No, not at all. I'm happy for you, glad you guys figured it out," she looked over and smiled at her brother. "How was the trip? Have fun?"
"Yeah, a lot. Got my ears pierced," he showed off the studs in his earlobes, and Jillian whistled.
"Looking snazzy," she complimented. "Did Clay get his done as well?"
"Yeah, and his noes. It's hot," Sapnap laughed.
"Of course he does. He's naturally hot so it only makes it better," she laughed.
"That's exactly what I said when he got it!" the two laughed for a few moments, and decided to stop and get some food because 'airplane food is fucking disgusting.'
"Other than the fact that you got fucked multiple times, how was it?" Jilly asked, making Sapnap choke on his drink when she said the first part.
"What is wrong with you?" he asked, trying to calm down after the coughing fit.
"So you're saying you two didn't fuck?" she asked, turning to face her brother sense they were parked to eat.
"Well I'm not saying that..." he trailed off, a obvious blush appearing on his face.
"I'm not gonna say anything else about that don't worry," she laughed, throwing a fry at him.
"You asshole, don't waste food like that. Even if you paid for it," Sapnap picked up the fry and ate it, getting a disgusted look from his sister.
"Just tell me about the trip. Did you meet his family or anything? Did they like you?" she asked, honestly very interested in how it went.
"Yeah, first night we got there I met his mom, though I wish I didn't," he rolled his eyes looking back at what happened.
"What'd she do?" Jilly asked.
"Mother fucker used her key when she saw he was home, listened to us as we fucked, and just fucking stood in the kitchen like she had no care in the world," his body overtook in disgust thinking about the wink she gave them.
"Fucking pervert. But what else? Siblings? Dad?" Jillian kept encouraging the conversation.
"Me and his younger sister got along really well. She stayed with us for like 3 weeks when their grandma was in town, and just to because she missed him. His older sister is chill, she bought him a dab pen when he couldn't drive," he laughed thinking what they did when the two left.
"Why couldn't he drive?" she asked.
"Well, earlier that day we went to the mall, and he saw his psycho ex and he said something, sent him into a panic attack, and then he fucking passed out in the bathroom and had to go to the hospital," he explained.
"Shit, is he ok now?" she felt bad for the boy.
"Yeah, he was just really dehydrated and the rapid breathing made him pass out. Made me want to kill that asshole," he grit his teeth thinking about what Khai did.
"What about the rest of the family? You said his grandma visited," Jilly asked.
"Ah, Grandma Beth. I liked her, but everyone was annoyed because I guess she tells the same stories over and over and so everyone had heard them but me," he laughed. "Then there's Parker, he's 10 I'm pretty sure, he was fun. I didn't talk to him much but oh well. And Nathan, his step-dad. Nate seemed to like me, accepted me right away when he first met me so that was good."
"That's good. I'm glad you get along with everyone. Are you going to tell mom and dad you're together?" Jillian asked as her brother's facial expression dropped.
"Is mom still pissed at me?" he asked.
"No, she's a little upset you left without saying bye. She realized she invaded your privacy when she came over and is going to apologize tomorrow," Jillian explained. A sigh of relief escaped his mouth.
"Thank god," he physically relaxed knowing his mom wasn't upset anymore. "I might tell them. I just don't want Aunt Judy and Uncle Henry to hate me any more."
"I think they're more accepting now. They caught Natalia with a chick one day, so they aren't too upset with it anymore, just 'confused on why someone would choose that lifestyle' or whatever they say."
"Maybe if I get pissed off I'll bring it up. Tell them it was the best dick of my life," he started dancing like a maniac, making Jillian throw more fries at him, but also laugh.
"Stop you freak! I don't need to know these things. I'm only 17, spare me the details!" she started begging, but in a joking manner.
"Oh whatever. You brag about when you get railed," he rolled his eyes.
"Because I thought I'd disgust you!" she protested.
"You're an asshole," he shook his head.
"An asshole you love. And buys you food," she pointed out, gesturing to the meal and drinks.
"Ok little miss 'I work minimum wage'," he laughed again.
"Sorry I don't stream and do stupid shit online," she scoffed. "But anyways, you ready to go?"
"Yeah, are you staying over tonight?" he asked, packing up their garbage, ready to throw it away.
"No, mom needs me to help clean. They're flying in tomorrow night and wanted me to tell you that you should come over before they get there," she explained.
"I'll try my best to be awake," he scoffed, getting out and throwing the trash away, then getting back into the car and continuing the last 20 minutes until he got to the apartment.
When she dropped him off, she made sure to get out and give him a hug before going back home to prepare for the mayhem of the cousins coming over. He marched his way up to his apartment, unlocked the door, and was immediately with with Mowgli jumping off the couch and running to him.
"Hey there," he picked up the cat, and he immediately started purring. [yeah- idk if his cat is a girl or boy so...] He walked the two of them to his bedroom, where he flopped down onto the bed, and pulled out his phone, finding Dream's contact and facetiming him.
"Took you long enough," the blonde rolled his eyes when he answered.
"Sorry, Jilly got me food I couldn't resist," Sapnap laughed.
"It's fine I was just messing with you. How was the flight? Everything good back home?" Dream asked, wanting to make sure he was ok.
"Yeah. There was an annoying ass baby and dog but they only made noise after we landed. Also found out my mom isn't pissed at me anymore. I guess the whole 'going to a different state without saying goodbye' made her realize what she did," he shrugged his shoulder, and the cat walked up and laid on his chest.
"Looks like someone missed you," Dream laughed.
"I guess so. Maybe a month is too long for a cat," Sapnap went back to scratching the cat's head, making him start purring again, but this time louder.
"Maybe cuddling with him will make it easier to fall asleep," Dream smiled into the camera.
"No, won't be the same. He doesn't like cuddling for a long time. He sleeps either on the end of the bed, the cat tree, or on the couch. Depending on if I lock him out or not," they both laughed, knowing that he locked both cats out when Patches was there. Silence filled the air for a few moments until Dream spoke up again.
"I uh, I told my parents today," Dream smiled when Sapnap's face lit up.
"Yeah? How'd that go?" Sapnap asked.
"Good, really good. My mom was happy, said it took long enough. She misses you already. Said you're like family now," he laughed, and Sapnap blushed.
"Those her words or yours?"
"Her's obviously. But I agree with her, I miss you too," Dream winked.
"I miss you too, dummy," Sapnap smiled back. "I told Jillian, well, I didn't explicitly say it, she said something along the lines of 'miss your boyfriend already' or some shit and I was like yes I do."
"That's good," Dream was happy that he was equally open to telling his parents about them being together.
"Yeah, you're going to have to meet Max and my mom and dad soon though. They're going to be upset they haven't met you," Sapnap laughed.
"I've met your mom, she just didn't have an open mind about it," they both laughed. "But at least she didn't listen to us have sex."
"I fucking said something about it to Jilly and she called Stacy a pervert," they both busted out laughing, and Mowgli jumped off the bed due to all the commotion.
"I mean, she's not wrong," Dream managed to say.
"I know," Sapnap had to stifle his laughing with a yawn.
"You should sleep, had a long day of sucking dick and flying," Dream smirked.
"Oh fuck off. You enjoyed it," Sap rolled his eyes. "But I agree, I am tired."
"I'm gonna do some speedruns but we'll stay on call, ok? I'll mute thought because I bet George will call sometime," Dream got out of his bed and walked over to his PC, turning it on and letting it boot up.
"Are you going to tell him?" Nick asked.
"No, I say we both need to be there for that one," Dream looked down and smiled. "Now get some sleep, you have a lot to deal with over the next few days."
"Oh whatever. I won't be able to because you're not here," Sapnap whined.
"I know, but that's what we need to get used to," Dream sighed. "Get some sleep, love."
"Hehe, I liked that," Sapnap blushed at the pet name.
"What?" Dream asked.
"You calling me 'love,'" Sapnap smiled more.
"You call me hun, only makes sense I give you a nickname," Dream rolled his eyes. "Now sleep. We'll talk in the morning, alright?"
"Ok. Night Clay, good luck on the runs," Sapnap turned off the lamp.
"Night Pandas."
