Akauri
When I tell you I really wanted to forget today. I didn't want to remember the villains I had to face. One of them really had the audacity to attack me when I attacked. Speaking of that, my leg still hurts. That villain really had a strong grip on me. Bastard bit me a little too hard on my leg. I got it thankfully checked out, but it still hurts to walk. Anytime I try to walk, I end up limping. My family insists I lay in my bed and rest naturally, and if I need to get up, I either fly or get someone to carry me. I was just chilling listening to music until I heard a slight knock at the front door. Once again, they weren't home because they had to do their own thing, so I got up and answered myself. It was the girls coming to see if I was okay.
"Erm...How did you guys find my house?" I asked them.
"That Kirishima guy gave it to us, said we could use it to come and check on you." Tsu answered. So many questions are running through my head, but I'm just gonna let it slide for now.
"We just wanted to check in on you. How's your leg?" Mina asked.
It's doing okay, I should probably get off it, but then I'd lose my balance." I replied scratching the back of my head. Ochako came up and held me up a little over the ground.
"Thanks, Ochako."I smiled. She helped me onto the couch as the girls came in and sat next to me.
"We're glad you're okay, Ashari." Momo said, putting her hand on my shoulder. I purred softly in response. Everyone else looked like they were struck by cuteness.
"Why is everyone looking like that?" I asked with a small chuckle.
"Your purring is just so cute, ribbit." Tsu said with a smile. I just chuckled and purred some more. Mina rubbed my ears as Jirou sat next to me.
"I'm shocked you didn't pass out from blood loss." Jirou said.
"Same, while I will admit, I was feeling very lightheaded, like I was minutes or even seconds from passing out." I replied. As I rubbed my head, I turned my attention to a pair of floating clothes.
"Before you possibly freak out, I'm not a ghost, it's just my quirk. My name's Toru Hagakure." it said. I was actually gonna panic, but now that I know it's just an invisible girl, I felt much better. "Hey Ashi, we all got you something." Momo said, reaching into a bag. She pulled out a star hairpin and gave it to me.
"What's all this about?" I asked analyzing it.
"It was because of what happened at the USJ. When you went into attack despite your injury, you were basically a shining star in our eyes. You saved Yaomomo and Jirou from the villains I'm the mountain zone. And for that, we got you this." Ochako said, rubbing the top of my head. I looked at the star and then back at the girls.
"Thanks guys, I really like it." I purred putting the pin in my hair.
"You look so cute with it on! Even though you also looked cute without it on." Mina said. I wrapped one tail around my face as I started to feel a lot of blood rush to my face.
"Stooooop." I whined. I could hear all the girls chuckling.
"Sorry, but it's true, can you come out of hiding now?" Tsu asked. I slowly unwrapped my tail and looked down, so they couldn't see how red my face was. I mean, it's kinda hard to see a blush on my face. Regardless, I checked the time just because I felt like time was flying real quick.
"It's 2:30PM. Oh crap, someone's gotta pick up the pups." I said to myself.
"You have puppies? Where are they?" Toru asked.
"They go to a doggy daycare while the rest of us are out and about doin' our own thing." I answered.
"Well, where is this daycare? We can pick them up while you stay and rest." Jiro suggested. "Only a person who owns the pups can pick them up. But if you say you're picking them up for me, they might give them to you." I thought aloud.
"That could work." Momo mumbled.
"Yeah, It's only a block away, so it should be a hop skip and a jump away." I said. Mina and Jiro both got up.
"We'll go pick them up, the rest of the girls can stay and watch over Ashari." Mina said.
"Yeah, but before we go, what are the pup's names?" Jiro asked.
"Their names are Hoshi and Seishin. Hoshi's a Golden Retriever pup and Seishin is a German Shepard pup." I explained. The girls nodded and walked out.
"I got a question; Do you mother and father call you their pup or something?" Toru asked. "Well, it's not just me, I have a little sister. And they call us their cubs." I explained. Everyone seemed to think it was kinda cute.
"That's so wholesome. It's like you're a part of their pack." Momo said.
"We kind of are. My extended family is also a part of the pack. We call the parents the alphas, and the oldest child that they have, the runner-up." I explained again.
"Wait, so that means you're the runner-up. So you'll be the next alpha then." Ochako guessed. "That is correct, Uraraka." I said happily. I just started thinking about the pups. I hope Mina and Jiro will do okay.
Kyoka
Me and Ashido were coming up on the daycare until Ashido asked me a question.
"What did Ashari say her pup's names were again?" she asked.
"Hoshi the Golden Retriever and Seishin the German Shepherd." I answered. We walked in the daycare and it was so big. For a small place the inside sure was huge. A woman came up to the both of us.
"Hello girls, do you have any puppies to pick up?" she said.
"Actually yes. We're here to pick up Hoshi and Seishin for the Ashari family." I said.
"Ah, I see. Well sure, just follow me." she said. She took us to a pair of pups who were playing with each other.
"Awww, they're so adorable!" Mina gushed.
"Indeed they are." I added. The pups looked at us and walked closer.
"Put your hand out and let them sniff it, that's the easiest way to get them to see if they like you." the woman said. Me and Ashido both put our hands out. The pups came up and sniffed both of our hands. They started licking our hands wildly while wagging their tails. Me and Mina just chuckled.
"They're so wholesome. Akauri will be so happy to see you." Mina said, petting Hoshi's head. "Now that you've mentioned it, why can't Akauri come pick them up herself?" the woman asked. "She suffered a serious leg injury at the USJ attack which caused her to be off her feet for a while." I explained.
"Oh the poor thing. I hope she gets better." the woman muttered.
"She's on the road to recovery, so she should be fine. She's at home right now with all the other girls from our class." Mina said, grabbing Hoshi. I grabbed Seishin and asked the woman the pups had anything else we needed to get. The woman gave us their leashes and told us that was it. We thanked her and walked out and over to Akauri's place. When we opened the door everyone was just playing some Monopoly.
"Hey guys, we got the pups." I said setting Seishin down the carpet, Mina doing the same with Hoshi. The pups both went dashing towards Akauri, tackling her.
"Haha, hi guys! You had fun in daycare?" she asked them in a soft voice. The pups barked in response.
"Your voice just went from normal and bold to soft and sweet, what's up with that?" Mina asked. "I change my voice when I'm around them to give them a sense of calmness." Ashari replied. The pups laid their heads on her leg.
"They also like to use my leg as a pillow." she added. I just softly laughed.
"Well, we should really be on our way." I said.
"Awww, I wanted to stayyy!" Mina groaned.
"You'll see her tomorrow. Come on, let's head home everyone." I said walking out the door. It took everyone else 2 minutes to follow.
"Is she gonna be okay?" Ochako asked.
"I'm sure she will be, we're just gonna wait." Momo said after. I just hope she was right.
