Valory and Lili where walking to there volleyball practice, talking and gossiping as always. They reached the changing room and set there duffle bags down "Hey, why are all of you wearing that?" Valory said addressing the other girls wearing leggings with shorts on top and sweaters "Coach said we're playing outside and wanted us to cover up so that the boys football team doesn't get distracted" Said one of the girls on the team "That is such bullshit" Valory said actually angry "Yeah, well we can't argue with the system" another girl from the team said. Valory turned to her locker next to Lili "This is so unfair" Lili said to Valory "I know right, I'm not wearing that in fucking 80 degree weather!" "Same" Lili agreed to Valory. So they did what they said, the girls wore their regular shorts and long sleeves shirts. They grabbed there water bottles and went outside to join the rest of the team.

"What are you girls wearing? I thought I told you to cover up!" The coach who already hated Valory and Lili with a passion said angrily, just as they where about to talk she interrupted them "No! Don't even talk you disrespect me, you ignore my orders, you flirt to much to win and talk way to much, Valory and Lili you are off this team, leave my sight" The two girls stood there in disbelief "NOW!" The coach yelled one last time and with that the girls turned around and with there middle fingers in the air walked off the court.
"What now?" Lili asked Valory "I mean, there's nothing we can do, let's just get our bags and go get some boba" Valory said in a give up tone. And so they made there way to the locker room one last time.
The girls packed everything up from their lockers, it was sad because they've been playing since 5th grade but since coach Bucket started coaching it went downhill, she hated Valory and Lili, benched them for no reason, made secret practices without them and did everything to get them kicked off, the weirdest thing is that the girls did nothing wrong they just wherent one of the popular girls. Valory and Lili fit into the group off not popular but most people know them, which in their opinion is the best, no pressure to be perfect but not lonely and there is always gossip matearial for the two of them to discuss later. As the two girls left the locker room they started making their way out, when they saw the gym door opened and heard the voice of there one and only favourite coach. The girls bolted it into the gym "AHHH!!" the girls yelled "AAHHH!" Coach Mike quickly caught on "AAAHH!"the girl screamed again "You're the the the" the coach said using one of there greatings "the the the...the bitches!" The girls yelled and ran into the arms of their favourite coach. Meanwhile the 6 boys in the middle of a game stopped because of the screaming and now where watching the encounter in confusion. "What are you guys doing here!?" Mike said to the two girls that just tackled him in excitment "Aren't you supposed to be in practice" he continued "Yeah...we kinda got kicked off..." Valory said scratching the back of her neck and looking up at the coach "Why?!" He said, but before they could talk six tall figures came closer to them one, the tallest, talked "hello" "hi" Valory quickly said and turned back to Mike "so basically she was like 'we are going to be training outside blah blah blah you need to cover up' " Valory said mocking her "but it's like 80 degrees" Coach Mike said in shock "I know! And then when we didn't she took the opportunity and kicked us off" "That bitch!" Mike said way to involved in the story "Wait, who are we talking about?" A different boy said "That bitch coach bucket" Mike said in an annoyed tone "Wait, you guys play volleyball?" Another dude said surprised "Why so surprised" Lili asked with her head tilted "I mean- you guys are like...short" "Ok first of all we're not and second-" Valory was cut off by the coach "Ok, Valory and Lili versus Mark and Jacob, they're the tallest" he said pointing at the boys as he said there names "Oh this will be easy" Jacob said walking to the net. And so the game began.

15 minutes into the game it was a tie 5-5, we where playing to 10. I then heard Jacob trying to flirt with Lili turns out Mark also heard it and tryed it with me "So..what are you doing after this?" He asked at his attempt to flirt "Nothing how 'bout you baby" Valory said and winked, the poor baby completely froze which made for an easy point. Valory and Lili started laughing at the two frozen boys, the boys shaked it off "Hey! That was not fair!" The boys yelled still in shock "oh yes it was" Lili and Valory said in unison "We've won so many games like that" Valory said looking at Lili, they high-fived and went back to the game.

10-7 the girls won. "Ok ok, you guys are pretty good" Mark said "Why thank you kind sir, not to bad yourself, your flirting game needs work tho' " Valory said with a slight smile at the end "Ok, back to practice" Mike said to the 4 guys on the bench "Do you mind if we stay?" Lili asked Mike "Oh, you where not going anywhere, sit" he gestured to the bench near him, the two girls sat down and started talking to the coach while simultaneously watching the match.

"If I could travel time, I would travel to the 1950s and pick out a random person, it doesn't matter who, and then bring them back here in to our technology filled society and like, just go about my day as if they weren't there *small laugh* even though I knew they were there, it would be like they were haunting me, but I wanted it *another laugh* okay, okay and then I'd just do normal things, I'd be like "Alexa, turn off the lights" and she would do that, because that's what Alexa does *can't keep the laugh in* and then they would be like "who's that! Where was Alexa?" And I could just be like Alexa is everything everywhere ALL THE TIME and just scare the absolute shit out of this person *sigh* okay, that seems mean but I'd also be really funny *laugh* like....the confusion" Valory answers the question coach Mike asked with her hand gestures making the entire team laugh. "That's so mean" The guy she now knew as Ivan said through laughs. Valory and Lili now know every member of the team Mark, Dylan, Lucas, Ivan, Ethan and Jacob. They where nice guys, not like those football players that think they rule the school, douchebags. No, we are not going to even mention them. All of the others had there turn with the same question but it was agreed that Valory's was the best.

Valory was laying on the bench on Lili's lap. The boys where back to practicing. "Do you want boba?" Valory said looking up at Lili "Oh my god yeeess" she said throwing her head back, Valory smiled and mingled her way to Mike "Coach, do you want boba?" Valory asked whispering "oh yeah, can I have my usual?" Valory nodded her head and went back to Lili, she then placed an order on postmates and gave her attention back to the game.

Valory grabbed the 3 boba drinks from postmates and gave the drink to Lili and then made her way to coach Mike "Here you go" she said handing him the drink and standing next to him watching the boys play.

After 30 more minutes the boys finished the game and it was time for practice to end. Valory and Lili where packing there stuff before Valory felt a tap on her shoulder, she turned around and saw the same 6 boys standing with there phones "Can we get your numbers?" They say to her and Lili "oh yeah, sure" Valory grabs Marks phone first and hands it back to him before taking everyone elses and adding her number "Imagine they just added like a fake number" Ethan said as a joke which made everyone laugh "Ok we have to go" Lili said after both of the girls finished with the numbers "Ok, see you guys next practice?" Mark said with a hint of questioning at the end "Yeah, we have nothing better to do" Valory said looking at the boys whos faces lit up in excitment. With a couple final goodbyes the girls left there school and made it to Valory's car Lili connected her phone to the aux and put on there shared playlist, they jammed to the music on the way to Lili's house.

A couple goodbyes later Lili was already in her house warm and safe, so with the confidence of her friend being safe she put the car in drive and drove home.

I enter my house to see my 4 siblings running around the house. "what's going on?" I say kinda scared "Mom and dad are coming to check on us so we have to clean or they will not let us stay home alone again" My older brother Tyler said, with those words I start helping the cleaning process "We literally live alone why do they not trust us, the house is still standing!" I say panicked, my parents work very hard and they travel a lot so me and my siblings are almost always alone, and we like it that way, we can invite friends over, we have no curfew, talking to friends at weird times of the day, sleep schedule? Don't know her and just live every childs dream life.
