Misty's POV
I sat on the couch, staring at the TV. Multiple pictures of One Direction were on it which was no surprise. That little innocent boy that I know so well.... I sighed and lightly tossed the TV remote to the side dejectedly.
Life as Miss Terious is amazing but it's not an easy job. I've been hiding my true identity for pretty much my entire life. I even had to change my look in case one of my old classmates or something recognized me and told someone. So now, I have to wear brown eye contacts and straighten my hair wherever I go. And if I get really tired of all the long working days, I just get rid of the brown eye contacts so that I have teal eyes and curly brown hair. I also have to use fake tan and have a fake name, Ashlee Poftee. But it's risky so I almost never do it.
Don't get me wrong, I'm really grateful for my job but I just wish that I could have a day where people can call me Misty and treat me like a normal young adult. Not much people know about me. Actually, no on in this world know my true identity. They just know me as Miss Terious, age 20. My mum obviously knows and my dad died before I was born.
There's one boy who knows a bit of the real me. Louis Tomlinson. I've interacted with him so many times in his life but he was rarely aware of those meetings. And I hope it stays that way for much longer or even better, forever.
"Misty?" My manager, Ashlee called. Ash knows my secret. I trust her with my life and because she's my manager and the best friend a girl could ever ask for. And I named my fake name after her too because I love her just that much. She is the nicest person ever unless you take her candy. Then she becomes the definition of evil. And trust me, you do NOT want to see that side of her.
"In here!" I said loudly. Soon, the door to the hotel living room opened and in walked Ash.
"What's up Ash?" I asked as I crossed my legs on the couch and leaned back. I quickly shut off the TV and tried to look innocent.
"Well as you know, you have a concert tonight." She said then looked at me. I nodded "It's going to be at the Air Canada Centre and I have a surprise guest booked or you."
I suddenly sat up. "Who?"
"Not telling you. Hence the 'surprise' part." Ash said. I rolled my eyes.
"Way to get me curious." I pouted. Ash stuck her tongue out at me.
"You love me really."
I snorted. "Oh please. In your dreams."
Ash smirked. "Not gonna happen. Why would I dream about you?" She said disgustedly. I scoffed.
"Why wouldn't you? I'm stunning." I said sassily. She rolled her eyes at me.
We always joke around and have little banters like this which I am really grateful for. It helps me relax and gets my mind off some things like my mum. I really miss her. I only get to call or Skype her a few times a week which isn't enough.
"Right. Back to the schedule. Today is October 24th. And like I said, you will be performing tonight at the ACC with.. The surprise guest , then get a good night's sleep because tomorrow, we will leaving to New York for the Jingle Ball which will be in December. At NY, you could have a small break but you still have to work on promoting your album. At the end, you will join in on all the performers and sing a song. I think it's 'White Christmas'."
"I"m performing at the Jingle Ball?!" I asked in disbelief. Performing at the Jingle Ball would be everything I've wished for. It had been one of my biggest dreams when the through of becoming a singer sprouted in my mind when I was 6. I had always dreamed of performing at all the famous stadiums and shows.
"Yes, now if you'll stop interrupting me, I might actually finish telling you the schedule." Ash said grumpily. "I have candy waiting for me."
I snickered. "Go on."
"After the Jingle Ball, you'll have an interview at KISS-FM on the Thursday after that."
I opened my mouth to rave about how amazing this was but Ash shushed me.
"Then on January 3rd, you will be performing at Madison Square Garden." Ash finished. Wow. These are going to some pretty hectic months.
"And best of all, I'll meet Justin Bieber at the Jingle Ball..." Ash said dreamily. I laughed. Her love for Justin Bieber had been extreme then, after she meets Justin, it'll probably be over the moon.
"It's your fault I didn't meet him before." Ash sniffed. I raised my eyebrow at her. Yes, I met Justin before. He's a nice guy. But Ash couldn't meet him because she was sick.
"How?" I asked.
"You were sick the week before which got me sick." Ash grumbled.
"Hey, I told you to stay away from me." I countered. Ash sighed.
"Yes you did mother."
"Can I say I told you so?" I laughed. Ash gave me a sarcastic smile.
"I'll take that as a no. Now run off and eat your candy. I need to get ready for the concert." I instructed. Ash nodded obediently then dashed off.
I left my spot on the couch then went the hotel bedroom and slipped an outfit on.
I wore a simple necklace that said 'Dream' on, checked that I wore my contacts and had straightened hair, then left the hotel.
I don't know where the necklace came from. I just found it outside my dressing room after I performed at The X Factor UK in 2010. I think one of the contestants either left it as a gift or dropped it. I like to think of it as a mystery. Maybe I'll find the answer one day.
I ran out the door and found my driver waiting for me.
"Hello Kenny." I panted. He chuckled as he began to drive the black van.
"Hello Terious. You look like you just ran a marathon."
I laughed breathlessly. "I got dressed in two minutes. I'd say that's a new record and I deserve a pat on the back." Kenny laughed.
"There's the sass queen we all know and love."
I smiled then looked out the block tinted windows. Shops zoomed by and so did cars, people, parks and kids. I envy those people sometimes. They could walk down a street without having to sign a autograph.
"Do you plan on getting out?" Kenny suddenly asked. I didn't realize that he had stopped in front of the entrance to the ACC.
"Thanks Ken!" I shouted over the screaming fans. They like to call themselves Detectives since I'm Miss Terious... Mysterious... And detectives solve 'mysterious' cases... Like my life story... I think it's a really cute name.
"Terious!"
"I LOVE YOU!"
"I love you too!" I yelled back.
I eventually made it through all the Detectives after signing many autographs and doing a few pictures.
"Mist- Ahhhhhhhh Terious!" Ash called. I breathed a sigh of relief. Thankfully, Ash didn't finish what she was saying or the whole backstage crew would have known my first name. She beckoned for me to follow which I obediently did.
"What exactly is this place?" I asked.
"You dressing room..." Ash said slowly.
"What?!"
"Your dressing room. Do you need me to spell it out for you? Y-o-u-"
I laughed then shook my head. "I know THAT but why is it full of costumes?"
Ash fake gasped. "Do you know what's happening this week?"
I shrugged. Nothing special that I'm aware of.
"It's Halloween!"
My mouth dropped open and formed a small 'o'. I completely forgot about Halloween.
Ash sighed. "You are a forgetful butt. What would you do without me?" She said teasingly. I shrugged.
"I'd probably forget about many important dates." I said. She raised her eyebrow at me. "No not these dates! But... Calendar dates."
"Sure. THATS what you mean. Well anyways, pick three costumes for you performance! You may also keep them."
I grinned then picked out three amazing costumes.
The first one was a Greek-style golden shoulder drape. It is also accented with a golden leaves headpiece.
The second one was a vibrant mini dress with puffy sleeves and a faux corset bodice that widens into a ruffled skirt with polka-dot trim. It also included satin monarch butterfly wings.
The third was a velvet black dress with lace-up bodice, leopard fur trim and hot pink ribbon detail. It also had a leopard fur capelet with cat ears and black fur trim and leopard fur glovelettes with pink ribbon bows.

I hopped on stage ecstatically after changing into my first outfit and getting my makeup done.
"Hello Toronto!"
The volume of the screams escalated massively.
"Well I'm supposed to start with a cover. I can honestly say that this song is one of my favourites. It's such a sweet and amazing song and I'd love to perform it for you guys." I said. "This is 'Oath' by Cher Lloyd."
The band started playing and I smiled and ran through the dance routine quickly through my head.

I opened my mouth to continue the next part but it wasn't only my voice hat sang the next part.

Well I hope you enjoyed the first chapter of Miss Terious! It's mainly to give you a taste of the story.
Misty will be played by Lucy Hale since she's absolutely stunning and amazing and I love her.
