After dinner
We walked out of Liyue harbor and plan to make our way towards Wangshu Inn.
"We should head to Wangshu Inn now." I began.
"Okay!" Replied Paimon.
"I'm exhausted." I replied.
"Also, Paimon figured it out today! Paimon thinks you like Xiao." Giggled the fairy.
"So?!" I retorted, rolling my eyes at the fairy.
"Paimon thinks that's why you walked so fast, and just was desperate to see him!" Teased Paimon with a small laugh.
"Shut up." I whispered as I couldn't help but laugh and blush at the thought.
Later by the water trail of Wangshu Inn
"Going somewhere girlie?!" Asked a voice behind us.
"Childe?!" I asked, shocked that the Fatui Harbinger is still here.
I brought out Dawnbreaker preparing for a fight.
"Maybe not this close to the Inn." Childe began.
"Then where you want the rematch?!" I asked.
"Right now, in the golden house." Smirked Childe.
"That's so far to walk, but fine." I sighed.
"Don't worry, we'll teleport." Replied Childe as he grabbed me by the wrist gently and dragged me through the teleport spot.
I dizzily held onto the nearlest pillar from the sudden movement.
"Are you alright? And are you sure you're gonna rematch right now?!" Asked Paimon worriedly.
(A/N: Before I accidentally spelt Paimin- Wth is Paimin?! Piemin? Pie nim?! PD Nim, Bts's producer/manager?! Ehe)
"Yeah, no big deal." I sighed, as I marched in after Childe inside the now empty golden house.
"Guess they moved the statue and artifacts." Noticed Paimon.
"This will be our usual battle ground from now on, comrade." Smirked Childe as he took out his bow.
"Alright." I replied as I slashed Dawnbreaker through the air.
We fought, I managed to dodge his hydro bow attacks quicker this time. Perhaps I was able to accuratly predict his shooting points this time.
Childe transformed to his first form of the Foul Legacy. He sent electro energy this time from his bow.
Electro was always faster than hydro. I nimbly dodged the electro attack.
I managed to use my wind current to make a deep scratch on his left arm.
Childe growled and placed on his Fatui mask. This transformed him to his third form of the Foul Legacy, as he snarled at me and lunged.
I dodged the first few attacks as Tartaglia levitated in the air.
"Not bad." Growled Tartaglia.
Suddenly, I heard a whale calling sound behind me.
Oh no.
A huge hydro whale came my way and knocked me off my feet. I struggled and drove my sword among the heavy water currents. But the hydro currents were suffocating me.
"Windstorm!" I managed to barely cry out as I sent a strong wind current to try to break through the water with Dawnbreaker.
I suddenly felt like drowning.
Where did this go wrong? I remember I dodged his whale last time.
"You should pay attention more comrade!" Yelled Tartaglia was what I heard.
I finally managed to break free of the whale.
Right after the first hydro whale I just broke free, Tartaglia sent another one my way.
"Not again!" I hissed as I tried to dodge it and was thrown upwards this time.
The third time I was thrown downwards.
The fourth time I was left spinning to the air, but I managed to throw Dawnbreaker through the whirlpool current and struck at Tartaglia.
I heard a surprised pained yell from Tartaglia as he angrily threw my sword back.
The fifth hydro whale then zoomed towards me, right as I caught Dawnbreaker.
"该死 Gai si!" I cursed as I was thrown in many directions and felt like I'm actually drowning from the currents this time.
"I can't lose!" I thought as I summoned a large wind vortex and directed all the energy in one spot, I watched as it swirled Tartaglia in the wind currents.
Suddenly, as if my strength finally gave in, I collapsed, drowning from the hydro whale currents and hit the cold hard floor.
"Y/N!" They both yelled the same time.
Xiao's pov
Zhongli xian sheng ordered me to investigate if the Fatui harbinger was still here and asked to see him.
I promised that I would bring Childe to him by tomorrow morning, but where is this stupid Fatui harbinger?
And then I heard voices from the Golden House.
"You stupid Fatui harbinger!" Screamed Paimon, "you just had to rematch today while she's exhausted just so you can win! You sure stoop low for a Fatui!" Insulted Paimon at Tartaglia.
Childe transformed back into his weak form, "Well I'm sorry I didn't know you guys had a long day! You didn't tell me!" He protested.
"Y/N agreed anyways because you were practically dragging her through the portal!" Snarled Paimon accusingly at Childe.
"Well I thought you guys were free for a rematch!" Shouted Childe.
"What do we do now?!" Asked Paimon, panicking.
"I'll take her somewhere to get help." Replied Childe as he picked her up.
"Stupid Fatui!" Shrieked Paimon again.
"Hands off the traveler." I growled, as I stepped out of the shadows, with my primadoral jade spear in hand.
"Xiao?!" Asked Paimon, shocked.
I am just as surprised as her because I never thought I was gonna see Y/N again.
"I'm trying to help her." Growled Childe as he held her.
"Do not make me tell you again." I growled dangerously.
"Fine, take her with you, I'm leaving." Hissed Childe as he handed her unconscious form to me.
"Zhongli wants to see you." I began.
"Zhongli Xiansheng wants to see me? Tell him I'll visit him tomorrow." Shrugged Childe as he left.
"Oh and Childe! Paimon demands a rematch that is fair and square the next time you meet!" Paimon yelled angrily after Childe.
"Alright! I'll be looking forward to that!" Waved Childe as he left.
That stupid Fatui boy! I thought.
I hate what he did. Why won't Zhongli let me kill him?!
Trying to ignore the angry thoughts forming in my mind, I carried Y/N swiftly to Wangshu Inn.
Third Pov
Later
In the highest moonlight, an Adeptus and Fatui Harbinger fought.
One held a jade spear, the other held a huge water blade.
Slashing sounds were heard and blood drawn.
"Try running!" Snickered the Fatui harbinger.
"Useless!" Yelled Xiao as he put on his mask.
"Hit me again?!" Snarled Tartaglia.
"CRY!" Snarled Xiao as primodoral jade spears rained down upon Tartaglia.
"Strong huh?!" Snickered Tartaglia as he swung his Fatui weapon.
"Dissappear!" Snarled Xiao.
At last, the battle ended, and Childe transformed back from his foul legacy, covered in deep cuts and bruises.
Minutes later Tartaglia, wounded was trying to run away from Xiao.
"Come back here Fatui!" Yelled Xiao.
"No!" Yelled Childe as he frantically tried to get out of the golden house.
"This will be a warning Fatui boy! Stay away from her!" Snarled Xiao as he used his spear and smacked Childe into the air.
Childe almost face planted onto the floor.
"Owww!" He yells as he landed.
"I will fight you next week and whenever I see you!" Xiao growled at Childe.
"Not looking forward to that!" Childe exclaims as he collapsed onto the floor.
