CHAPTER 006.

IT WAS FRIDAY, AND THE DAY WAS SET. The boys and Ximena would set off on a small road trip heading to an old park where Jimmy, Chris, and Ximena used to hang out at after school.
With Jimmy driving, Ximena in the passenger, Chris in the very back with Karl, and Chandler sitting in the middle. It was only about an hour drive there depending on traffic and with their luck, there was traffic.
"This stink." Chris sighs sinking deep in his seat. "Just wanted to have fun and film."
"I'm filming dumbo." Ximena explains fiddling with the camera in hand. She had only taken a few shots since she had gotten home but nothing too extraordinary. It had only been used the first two days home since she didn't really find anything useful. "What if I get an 'F'? It would be embarrassing."
"Yeah, cause you never gotten an F before." Jimmy teasingly jokes turning traffic lanes.
She scowls. "My mom almost killed me. . . I was just only twelve."
"You're grown now." Chandler joins in kicking her seat once again. He had been doing it ever since two minutes in the ride and it was quite irritating.
"Chandler, I swear to god I will jump back there and stab you." She warns the boy and he tested her with booting the seat. "You mother father!" She shrieks before turning around. Before any actions were done in harm, Jimmy reaches his hand over.
"I am driving!" He barks pushing her down onto her seat. "Let's get food yeah. There's uhhhh Burger King-"
"No!" Both Karl and Ximena said at the same time turning to Jimmy.
"Okay? Let's get. . . the store? Pick up some things and Chris can finally piss."
The married male cheers. "Finally."
Jimmy pulled into an exit leading to a different road where buildings lined up. After about two minutes they were now at a Walmart. "Don't do anything stupid okay?"
"Yeah, yeah, old man." Ximena unbuckles her seatbelt.
"I'll go with Chris to the bathroom and the three of you get snacks." The male said as they all jumped out of the car now strolling up to the store.
Heading inside wasn't too difficult and they parted. Out of view, the three traveled to the candy isle with a shopping cart. "Can we get Reese's? Ooo catch!" She throws the bag of candy towards Karl's way who catches it.
Karl sets the candy in the cart. "We should get like food we can eat on the trip... are we having a picnic?"
"Oh no." Chandler muffles, shifting to the side knowing what was about to occur.
"I could kiss you." She jokes walking past Karl to the shopping cart to place the chips in her hands. "We can also get a blanket." Her gentle British accent slithers in.
The fluffy haired boy nods as he drove the cart. The three continued to get drinks, snacks, blankets, and napkins just in case. After about seven minutes they caught up with the other two members, so they were now checking out.
Karl lightly pressed his head on the female's head since she was only five inches shorter than him. A small muffle of a word escapes her mouth which wasn't audible. Her tattooed hand grabbed his connecting them together which he smiles at the contact.
"Ready?" Jimmy questions turning to face them finding himself smiling. "Let's go." The announcement of him was heard as he controls the shopping cart with Chris and Chandler standing in between him.
The linked members stood in front of the three waving their hands back and forth chatting a bit. Well, mostly Ximena since the topic of cat's came up and she ended up talking about her cat Waddles. She talked very highly of the feline, it's her world and wouldn't trade her for anything.
Once back in the car, Chandler took the passenger, Chris took the middle seat, and the linked members took the back now drinking Monsters and chatting before watching the show from the previous night.

THEY WERE NOW AT THE EMPTY PARK. It was just the five there and it seemed to be untouched in a while. The air was crispy, leaves tumbling down onto the soil tenderly. Small winds in the air for a perfect day.
"You reckon its haunted?" Ximena questions looking around the place as Chandler positioned the two blankets down. Her eyes shadowed towards the swings and with a grin her hands grab Jimmy and Chris's wrist scurrying over to the swings. She let out a giggle swing on the children set.
It was just like back then before her disappearance in aboard. The bliss of childhood was in the air swooning around with sparkles. Roars of laughing glee filed the air once again.
"It would be funny if it just broke!" Chris jokes looking over at Ximena who was swinging next to him.
The female snickers pulling out her phone from her pocket filming the three swinging back and forth. After a while they were on the field conversing and what not. The picnic wasn't anything too special just a usual one. The young adults did end up messing around the playground with Ximena sometimes videoing before joining in the chaos.
It ended up back on the ground staring upon the sky seeing the stars slowly fading in the atmosphere. Just stargazing in the sky with Chandler and Jimmy silent conversation.
Karl looked over at the female who eyes gawked into the sky gazing with bliss. Her lips curled into a resting smile. Hesitantly, he laying his head in the crock of her neck. "Is this fine?" His breath tickles her neck sending goosebumps.
"Always." She whispers back moving her hand over untangling the strands of hair. It was like the night before, but it was now her turn to return the act.
One member's eyes looking over seeing the two locked together as if they knew each other longer than a week. With a smile, he shut his eyes. The two seemed to get along quite well, Karl matching her energy and Ximena matching his, like long lost platonic soulmates.
The female pulled out her camera from next to her to point it upwards to the sky. "Just me and the boys stargazing." Her voice was low with her hand turning the camera to the three, Chris leaned his head against Jimmy's back before throwing a peace sign the camera way. With a smile, the camera flips to the front. "Say hi."
Karl looks up at the camera and smiles. "Hi!" He cheers waving at the camera with his left hand before sitting it down at her side. "Look at us," his colored eyes flicker towards hers. Staring down at her, he gave a small peck on her forehead. "Vibing."
"F off." She jokes turning off the camera to set it aside with the boy laying on her only laughed. Being too caught up in the moment, neither realizes that somebody had taken her camera to film a few more clips that won't be seen in a while.
