This film is one of my personal favourites as I can personally relate to Wil. The dynamic between her and her mother is almost similar to mine with my mom. I mean your daughter is gay but pretending to not know for years and ignoring it? That's my mom.
Both the leads are no doubt absolutely gorgeous but goddamn Wil's mom is so fucking beautiful, I can totally relate to that young dude who stopped her wedding.
Wil and Vivian are really cute and fluffy together. But Wil being the definition of 'She's so smart and so fucking dumb at the same', the way she almost lost Vivian at the end, I wanted to slap her through the screen. But we got the happy ending we deserved and honestly this movie healed my soul a bit.
P.S: Also, it has the same director as THE HALF OF IT which is another great movie.
