"C'mon that's not fair, I got second place." [Johnny declares as he grips his second place trophy, arguing with his angry sensei. Daniel, Scarlette, and Mr. Miyagi watch as the argument in front of them becomes more serious than it had seemed at the start]
"Second place is no place, you're off the team!" [John Kreese says, his other students stood nearby but began watching as well]
"That sucks, I did my best." [Johnny combats with an annoyed expression]
"What did you say?" [John Kreese firmly asks]
"I said I did my best!" [Johnny yells back firmly, raising his fist with the trophy still in it]
"You're nothing, you lost, you're a loser!" [John Kreese yells, making the watching Scarlette's eyebrows point angrily. She- classically -scowls as well]
"I cannot believe I used to listen to that asshole of a sensei." [She whispered to Daniel and Mr. Miyagi, turning her head from the scene ahead. The two, Mr. Miyagi and Daniel Larusso, nod then looked back at the argument ahead, Scarlette follows]
"You're the loser, man." [Johnny defended, frustrated as he pointed his finger. Kreese tilts his head]
"Oh, I'm the loser, huh?" [Kreese said with a sarcastic look on his face and a crazy smile- tilting his head. Kreese then rips the trophy out of his 'favorite student's' hand and breaks it, tossing it to the side] "Now who's the loser?" [He asked, opening his palms and staring his student in the eyes psychotically. All the watching bystanders except for Mr. Miyagi: Scarlette, Daniel, Bobby, Tommy, and Dutch jaws' dropped. Usually Scarlette Miyagi would be frustrated as an immediate response, her anger issues worked in that sort of way, but this once- this incident- she was only shocked, and even afraid. Johnny clenches his fists, he had worked hard for that second place trophy and was very angry to see it destroyed by his own father figure- It was soul-crushing, but more soul-crushing acts were to come]
"Y'know you're really sick, man!" [Johnny says, burying his shock behind anger. Suddenly, Johnny's sensei becomes so enraged that he acts physically. John Kreese grabs his 'favorite student' by his arm and holds him backwards in front of him, strangling the poor Johnny Lawrence. The blonde boy choked and gasped for air as his face became red, scratching for his sensei to let go. Bobby reaches over to stop his sensei but is pushed to the ground, Tommy then attempts to stop the situation before his friend tragically chokes to death]
"Hey!-" [Tommy says as he then watched his other friend fall to trying to help Johnny]
"Don't." [John Kreese commands with the sickest and most intimidating look in his eye, glaring at Tommy. Tommy steps back but is still extremely worried] "How does second place feel now, huh?" [Kreese asked with a horrifying grin as he looks down at the dying Johnny Lawrence]
"O-oh my god." [Scarlette says, covering her mouth and trying to restrain herself from running over to her past sensei and trying to pull Johnny away from him. Daniel holds onto Scarlette with his own look of shock, the couple gripped onto each other as they watch Johnny continue to be strangled- Mr. Miyagi begins walking over to the Cobra Kais]
"This gone long enough." [The old okinawan man thought as he firmly glared at the Cobra Kai sensei]
"C'mon he can't breathe!" [Tommy says in desperation as Johnny's face became a reddish-purple]
"Mind your business." [Kreese replied, looking over to Tommy]
"You're gonna kill him!" [Bobby said, gripping and leaning on the car. Kreese turned his head to look at Bobby as he spoke, but the Cobra Kai sensei did not reply]
"Sensei, please- you're hurting him! He's sorry, okay? He really is!" [Tommy said, extremely desperate and serious. Before Kreese could act out on his other students, Mr. Miyagi had made his way over to the Cobra Kais. Scarlette and Daniel continued to watch as they gripped each other tightly, Daniel standing behind with his arms over Scarlette's shoulders]
"Ai, let him go." [Mr. Miyagi said as he stepped up to John Kreese, not breaking eye contact. He spoke firmly, and raised his voice more than usual, for an innocent life was at stake. John Kreese glared back as he continued to strangle Johnny]
"Yeah, Mr. Miyagi's right- let him go." [Tommy said with a swift nod as he leaned in. John Kreese smacks Tommy's face, making him fall to the ground. Scarlette steps forwards as soon as Tommy falls to the ground but Daniel continues to hold her back and behind the truck, as they watch through the truck's window. She clenched her jaw but allowed Daniel to shield her away from going into the chaos, due to John Kreese's obvious inability to restrain himself]
"I said, let him go!" [Mr. Miyagi commands, speaking louder and looking more angry than anyone in the area had ever seen. But John Kreese didn't flinch, he just smirked evilly]
"Beat it slope, or you're next." [John Kreese said, continuing to grip onto the dying Johnny Lawrence, and firmly glaring into the eye of the 'enemy'. Mr. Miyagi simply cannot stand and watch any longer, the short old man easily pulls Johnny Lawrence away from his abuser, also pushing the Cobra Kai sensei to the car behind them. The second place winner catches his breath and his friends rush over to him, also backing away from the fight beginning in front of them. Scarlette takes a slight breath of relief- her and Daniel both softening their grip on eachother. The two Miyagi Dos still concerned for their beloved sensei, begin to inch forward and towards the scene- teeth still clenched in these terrifying moments. John Kreese quickly readies himself, fists up, he then attempts to punch the 'enemy'. Mr. Miyagi swiftly dodges the hit, simply leaning away from Kreese's fist and making him punch a car window instead. Scarlette and Daniel's eyebrows raise, fear grows but also suspense for what is to happen next]
"That bastard." [Scarlette murmurs about her past sensei Kreese. Daniel couldn't even take himself to nod to her, he was so nervous for his best friend's safety as he focused hard on the fight taking place. Kreese turns around slowly- hand all bloody -as his opponent is across from him once again. The Cobra Kai sensei punches another car window with his other fist, Mr. Miyagi dodged another one of his hits- the old okinawan man had nothing but seriousness on his face. Kreese's eyes widen as he looks down at both of his bloody fist then he slowly looks back over to Mr. Miyagi- John Kreese has never looked more afraid or intimidated, even in his army days. Mr. Miyagi grabs John Kreese, holding him below him and glaring into his eyes as he reaches his hand back for the final blow. The two teens, Scarlette Miyagi and Daniel Larusso, jaws drop once again] "It can't be- he wouldn't-" [Scarlette says quietly out of shock, not believing that Mr. Miyagi would actually kill somebody]
"Mercy is for the week. We do not train to be merciful here. Man face you he is enemy. Enemy deserve no mercy." [Mr. Miyagi said firmly and intimidatingly, as his eyebrows pointed with a glare to the in-fear John Kreese. The Cobra Kai sensei's eyes widen so largely and his jaw dropped so low]
"N-no." [Daniel said quietly out of the same shock his girlfriend had, as it seems their sensei was preparing to kill John Kreese. The old man began to growl, preparing strength to officially and truly kill John Kreese. Mr. Miyagi furthered his arm back as he continued to growl louder and louder, and suspense grew and grew between the bystanders. Scarlette closed her eyes and hid her face into Daniel's chest, he held onto her head as calmly as he could as he watched his sensei's hand finally get closer to striking Kreese. The boy couldn't help but grab onto Scarlette's hair as Mr. Miyagi's hand was inches away from Kreese, hearts pumping so fast- and all of the sudden, it had stopped. The growling had gone, and there was silence as the old man looked down at his feared opponent with his hand extremely close to striking Kreese's face. Scarlette lifts her head back up and away from Daniel's chest, she looks back at the scene with her eyes wide and her teeth still clenched, confused with much less shock on her expression]
"Honk." [Mr. Miyagi said as he 'honked' John Kreese's nose and let him go- immediately looking over to his two smiling students. Scarlette lets Daniel go,rushing over to Mr. Miyagi embrace him, not only because Mr. Miyagi and the Cobra Kai students were safe, but also because John Kreese had gotten what he finally deserved because of Mr. Miyagi. All laughter and smiles- from the bystanders -were out of relief and surprise]
"I knew he wouldn't kill Kreese." [She thought happily as she gripped onto her father, both of them with a small yet genuine grin. Scarlette's grin begins to fade after she opens her 'happy' eyes, seeing the sad and shameful Johnny Lawrence sitting on the sidewalk with his shoulders slumped, staring at his broken trophy- she made a small frown and broke the hug between her father and her, her head down and posture somewhat low. Daniel limped his way over to them and Scarlette went back to assisting her boyfriend walk, putting her arm around him as he did the same with her- yet she still had her mind on Cobra Kai, longing to join Johnny and sit beside him on the sidewalk. Scarlette wasn't usually one to want to comfort someone, hell she wasn't usually one to even care. As she walked further and further away from Johnny Lawrence, she became more and more longing and tense- having one last chance to 'fix' something or even just 'help' something, while also risking what she had already had. But, she didn't, Scarlette just continued her way alongside 'what she already had']
"You could've killed him, couldn't you?" [Daniel asked with a slightly shocked tone, still feeling adrenaline. Daniel still held the trophy as he and his girlfriend followed their sensei]
"Ai." [The old man responded calmly with a nod as he made his way to the truck]
"Well why didn't ya then?" [Daniel asked, looking back at all of the Cobra Kais for the last time in a very, very long time]
"Because, Daniel-San, person with no forgiveness in heart live even worse punishment than death." [Mr. Miyagi said calmly as he sat on the driver's seat of his truck, closing the door and starting the vehicle. The two teens took the backseat- Scarlette, still feeling a little tense about what had just occurred, remaining awfully silent. As the three made their way back to Mr. Miyagi's place, where Daniel's mother would meet them to celebrate, Scarlette was in deep thought. As they drove off, Scarlette looked over at Cobra Kais, for the last time in a very, very, long time. She sighed quietly and re-positioned herself once her old friends were out of sight and she could no longer visually dwell on them. Time had officially run out and deep down she didn't think couldn't go back ever again, things may never ever be the same whether it's a good thing or not. This feeling, she won't comprehend for almost 35 years afterwards, came along with guilt- her heart raced so fast but also so slow and she couldn't explain to herself why. Her common reaction to this confusion sprung into anger, although less intense than it would when she was in Cobra Kai]
"Johnny didn't deserve any of that.. even after the things he'd done to me, Ali, and Daniel." [She thought to herself, leaning over to lay her chin in her right hand. The events of Johnny's strangling still played in her head as she continued to think..she soon sighed so hard that it had blown her curtains bangs away from her face and back- drawing Daniel's attention] "It simply isn't fair-" [She had continued to think- guilty and sympathetic towards her old friends and frustrated at Kreese -but her thoughts are interrupted by her very own boyfriend]
"Hey, are you ok, baby? [Daniel asked as he rubbed Scarlette's back softly. This action and use of nickname would usually make her give her boyfriend a kiss or something of the sort- but now, she was too traumatized and in too deep of thought to even look at him. Scarlette remained leaning her elbows on her knees, without even flinching to Daniel's touch. She wouldn't care to acknowledge her boyfriend, but she did speak aloud]
"I-It's just that I don't think it's fair," [She groaned, closing her eyes. She didn't expect Daniel to try to understand this too harshly, it wasn't in his nature to do so and she didn't mind it much- she would usually find his hot-headed nature cute and relatable but now wasn't time for it] "I'm thinking about it." [She said as she resumed her thought for a quick moment before being interrupted once again]
"About what?" [Daniel asked, sounding somewhat rude as he scoffs just a bit- let's just say that no one accused Daniel of not being arrogant. Scarlette takes offense to this, haltering all of her solemn and emotional feelings for the last time for three and a half decades]
"What do ya think, Daniel?" [She snapped back with a mocking tone, rolling her eyes and looking back up at him. Daniel's eyebrows fall, scoffing again defensively]
"Scarlette, you should be happy, we just won a tournament!" [He replied loudly and defensively, raising his arms then crossing them out of annoyance. Mr. Miyagi sat in the driver's seat quietly trying not to interfere with the argument and allowing the couple to handle it themselves as he respects them to do so]
