Third person's POV.

Lisa has never imagined a day when a mere ice-cream would give her such pleasure. To prolong her enjoyment, she nibbles her ice carefully and when Jungkook sees the way she lick the strawberry-flavoured ice with her nimble tongue, his throat goes dry and he has to turn to look elsewhere.
After finishing her ice-cream, they went to watch a 4D movie called “Little Ant, Big Chef”. The 4D effects are pretty amazing and Lisa finds herself dodging “things” that came out of the screen. They had so much fun, they queued to watch the movie more one more time before moving to the next attraction.
As it is a hot day, Lisa is wearing short pants with low-heel sandals. A group of passing young men – likely university students –lit up as she walks pass and gaze at her legs admiringly. As her boyfriend, Jungkook is quick to notice their admiration and turns a little moody. He hurries her along while he walks behind her so that he can use his body to block her from their view.
Lisa smiles at him. “Slow down! Do you think you are sheparding sheep?”
After walking for some distance, Jungkook finally slows down and lowers his head. When he sees her long legs, he has this urge to reach out and touch them. His conflicted expression caught her curiosity. “Jungkook, what is wrong?”
He answers truthfully. “I do not like it when others look at you.”
Being a beautiful woman, Lisa catches his drift immediately and feels a sweet warmth in her chest. She smiles and loops her hands around his neck. “And here I am thinking the same. Do you know that there is a group of women ogling at you just now? Goodness know what they are thinking in order to get that drooling look, but there is really little we can do in such situations right?We cannot stop them nor can we gorge their eyes out.”
Jungkook places his hands around her waist and looks at her intently as she continues. “Which is why I say, we have a responsibility as beautiful people and if people like to look at us, it is not like we will lose a pound of flesh right? Besides, after they have looked, they will likely be admiring you for having such a beautiful girlfriend. Don’t you agree?”
“You are very eloquent.”
“Thank you for your high praise.”
“I should ask for a reward then.” and he bends to gently peck at her lips.
Face burning, Lisa quickly leads him away. Due to the crowd, they decide to give the Rapids Adventure next, and move on to the Haunted Mansion.
The Haunted Mansion is built like a stone cave and is dark and eerie inside. The walkways are narrow and are lit by occasional green lights which are a little reminiscent of ghost fires in fairy tales. There are “human bones” littered around corners and matched with ghostly music and animal-like shrieks, it is enough to spook Lisa.
Jungkook laughs softly in her ear. “You are so cute.”
Cute your ass! Embarrassed, she pinches him hard at the waist.
“Ouch!” He sucks a deep breath but continues smiling. “Won’t your heart ache for me?”
The 2 start bickering until they are out of the Haunted Mansion. After that, they went to the game stalls where Lisa made a killing at the Dart Game. She won a giant teddy bear, which she gives to Jungkook, plus two smaller plush kittens which she intend to give to Schrodinger.Jungkook is very pleased to receive a present from his girlfriend, but looking at his empty hands – he has not win anything – he feels a little blue for not having anything for his girlfriend.
Tired, the 2 found a bench to rest while the screams from a nearby roller coaster flows over them. As Lisa laughs at the people on the roller coaster, Jungkook reflects on their visit. This is not his first visit to the Amusement Park, yet unlike the bored detachment last time, he realizes that he is actually enjoying himself today.
Lisa leans against his shoulder and takes a few selfie. After a few shots, she decides to include him in the picture. “Come Handsome, give me a smile.”
Jungkook turns towards the camera and holds up a “V” sign without even thinking. Staring at the woman besides him, he suddenly realizes the difference from his last visit. Indeed, when one is in the company of someone he likes, how can life be boring?
Lisa takes another picture. “Can you hug the bear in the next picture? Hmm, you can probably hug him to sleep at night.”
“The only thing that I want to hug when I sleep, is my girlfriend.”
Just their first date and he is making such a request? Lisa finds out that day that no matter how much a man may resemble a rabbit, when it comes to their core, all men are Big Bad wolves without exception.

The next day, Lisa decides to cut short her leave short and went to work. In her book, it is better to face the inevitable sooner than later, and besides, it is time to settle the issue once and for all. Although she is unwilling to quit her job – a job which she is doing pretty well she might add – it is better to quit now then be fired later. So she steels her back to return to office so that she can submit her resignation.
Old Wang is unprepared to see her letter. “Lisa, has matters really come to this stage?”
“Boss, things are really that serious. Thank you very much for your guidance all these years and I am really thankful. To speak the truth, the person I am going to miss the most from this company is you. Truely”
Despite his regret, Mr. Wang can only let her go. “I shall not say more if you have already decided. Go and pack your things. When you are gone, I am going to have a hard time finding your replacement.”
Lisa smiles. “Don’t worry, there are lots of talented people around. There will definitely be capable men or women who can take my place.”
Mr.Wang thinks more on the situation. “Lisa, your leaving is both a loss to you and the company. Since Big Boss is in today, shall we seek his opinion?” He picks up the phone before Lisa can stop him and after speaking to the person at the other end, he turns to her. “Big Boss would like to speak to you at the meeting room.”
Ooo…kay…. surely he will not dare to try anything in broad daylight?
Lisa goes to the meeting room and finds an impeccably dressed Taehyung. There is no resemblance to the pale man lying on the floor yesterday, clutching his crotch, but seeing his “decent” look, Lisa Scannot suppress her sense of disgust. she does not believe anyone can tolerate a man who has nearly raped her. In fact the more she sees him, the more turn off she gets. What she would give to beat him up!
“Lisa.” Her name sounds cool coming from him.
She walks over. “Boss, how are your injuries?”
“I’m fine.”
“That is good.”
Her answer makes him hopeful. After being so despicable, he is touched that she still bothers about him. But the next moment, he is surprise when she clenches her fist and starts punching him.
Lisa has finally sorted out her thoughts. Since she does not intend to keep her job or prosecute Taehyung, she might as well punch him to her heart’s content before she leaves.
Bing bing. Bang bang. Taehyung did not dodge her blows and when she has finished, she dusts her hands and walks away without a backward glance. “Bye bye!”
Taehyung only stood still. There is a faint bruise at the corner of his mouth and a footprint mark on his black jacket, but he has no time to fix his appearance as his eyes follow her exit from the room.
He must surely be an Masochist for being happy that she has hit him. After this, does it mean that she will be able to forgive him?
Lisa goes back to Mr. Wang and tells him that she is still leaving. Mr. Wang sighs and asks that she stay for another 1 to 2 days so that she can do dome handover before leaving.
When the news of her resignation spreads, all her colleagues are shocked. Some feel sad, others privately rejoice but overall, her relationship with her colleagues are affable and most are genuinely sad to see her go. Lisa promise she will treat them all to a meal before she rolls up her sleeves to work out the things that she needs to pass on.
As she works, she realizes that not withstanding the economic benefits of this job, there is really little that she will miss. Thinking back to Jungkook ’s analysis that he thinks that she is an introvert, that she does not like mingling with people deep down, and she does not truly like her job, she smiles to think that he may have a point after all. Lost in her thoughts, she is started when a cool voice rings behind her. “Lisa.”
Turning around, she frowns when she sees Taehyung. “Is anything the matter?” Surely he is not looking for another beating?
Although he has fixed his clothes and hair, he has not tended to his injuries and the bruise at his lips pains him every time he opens his mouth. “Lisa, I am sorry.”
“Ok.” She starts to walk away but he quickly walk around her to block her path. “Lisa….”
“You can stop apologizing for I have forgiven you. Now please step aside as I need to pass.”
“If you have forgiven me, why are you still leaving?”
“I am resigning because I am an introvert and have enough of sales, ok?”
Taehyung looks at her intently. “Liar.”
Lisa feels annoyed all over again; she really has enough of him but before she can tell him to buzz off, her phone rings and she answers immediately. “Hello? Kookie?…. That’s correct, I’m doing handover…. I am nearly done but I have promised my colleagues that I will buy them dinner so please don’t cook my share tonight…… ok, ok, got it. We’ll talk more tonight. Ta-ta!” and she hangs up.
She may not be aware of it, but there is a faint, happy glow on her face throughout her conversation that Taehyung finds really, really piercing to his eyes.
