i looked in the mirror at my outfit.
brandon asked to take me out on a date and of course i said yes .

i snapped out of my thoughts when i heard somebody knock on my room door .
i opened it seeing brandon . "your cousin let me in, you ready?" he asked and i nodded .

we left the house and he opened the car door for me when i first got into the car and when we got out of the car.
"okay gentlemen" i spoke and he chuckled "i'm just tryna make a good impression"
"well it's working" i spoke smiling .
he grabbed my hand and we walked into this place i had never been before , when we walked in it was so nice and dark .
"woah" i spoke as i looked around .
he walked past me and went up to the employee "reservation for jones" he spoke .
"right this way" she said and smiled .
i followed them to a table and sat down but i couldn't stop looking around untill i saw a flash .
i turned to look at brandon and he smiled "ima send that to you" he spoke before sitting across from me .
"it's so many fish" i spoke and he laughed "i thought you'd might like it" he said .
"i do thanks for bringing me" i spoke .
"no problem, but while we here tell me more about yourself, i feel like i know a lot but not enough"
"okay what do you wanna know?" i asked .
"how about your childhood"
"okay i grew up living with my mom , granny and sister . my sister got killed in a car crash along with our dad when i was 13, i never really had friends untill i went to jail because it's so easy to make friends in there for some reason" i spoke .
" i'm sorry for your loss" he spoke and i nodded. "how about yours" i asked .
"well me and brielle really been on our own since we was 15, we don't know our dad and our mom was on drugs , i've been working since i was 16 and ever since then i've always kept a job to take care of me and my sister"
"that's very mature of you" i spoke and he nodded .
"i had to do it , or we would've probably gotten split up in foster care"

"well i really only have one ex , i dated him on and off throughout highschool and after but we didn't officially break it off till i went to jail because i lost feelings, and then there's marq " i shrugged .
"do you see yourself being with him.. marq?"
"not really he's married and according to him he's never leaving her but what about your exes"
"i have hella , i've been looking for the right girl to take me out the game , i'm 24 i'm rea have some babies and settle down" he spoke and i laughed .
"well i hope you find her" i spoke .

"really" i asked raising my one eyebrow.
"yep, it all depends on how she answers my next question" he spoke .

he stood up and hugged me just as the waiter came to take our order .
