I nodded. I turned on the car and drove back home.
Changbin: we have to do a background check on your "friend"
Felix: why?
Changbin: because Han might be onto something
We arrived back home and we got out and headed inside. I grabbed my laptop and sat down on the couch. I asked Felix for her name and he told me and I did some research on her.
20 Minutes Later
Changbin: I'm done
Felix: well?
Changbin: check her crime record
He looked at them and was really shocked.
Felix: what? No that's not her! It can't be her!
Changbin: it is her! I'm sorry to break it to you but she's a bad person. Her social medias? Yeah let me show that to you
I showed him it and he looked disgusted and disappointed.
Felix: wow..so she really is bad...
Changbin: and your other friend that died as well is just as bad as them
Felix: and I got tricked...
Changbin: did they ever try to convince you to do something or anything?
Felix: yeah but I said no a lot
Changbin: did it ever made them angry? Did you ever felt like you were in danger or like a target?
Felix: I have
Changbin: Felix! And you didn't say anything??
Felix: I didn't want you to worry
Changbin: well look what's happening! I'm worrying! I have to call Soyeon
I grabbed my phone and called Soyeon.
Soyeon: hello?
Changbin: hey do me a favor?
Soyeon: yeah sure what is it?
Changbin: I need all of you guys to do background checks on every victim that the murderer has killed
Soyeon: but that'll take a long time
Changbin: please do it! I think I'm onto something
Soyeon: okay
Changbin: thank you
I hanged up and looked at Felix.
Felix: progress is growing and getting better
He smiled.
Felix: you're going to find y/n! I can feel it

Soyeon's POV
After the call I had with Changbin, I called everyone to get their attention.
Soyeon: so I was on the phone with Changbin and I know he isn't supposed to be working on this case or any case but he said might be onto something
Chanyeol: what?
Soyeon: he told us to do background checks on every single person that the murderer has killed
Wooyoung: why?
Soyeon: I don't know. I guess he wants us to figure out his theory
Hongjoong: well let's get to working
Jinyoung grabbed every file that the murderer has killed.
Soyeon: woah
Jinyoung: yup! Now Junhoe, Chanyeol and I will be on the computers looking through the files on there
Soyeon: why can't the rest of us?
Hongjoong: some of the tech stuff is acting up and has crashed a lot today so we can't have a lot of people using it
Soyeon: oh
Hongjoong: yeah but let's get started
4 Hours Later
We have gone through almost all files that Changbin told us to do. I can see what he's been onto.
Soyeon: guys stop I think I know what Changbin has been onto
Hongjoong: I think so as well
Junhoe: yeah me too
Jinyoung: speak
Soyeon: their crime record! The murderer killed people who had committed crimes!
Wooyoung: he's basically Light from Deathnote!
Junhoe: hey I like that anime
Hongjoong: but the thing is why though?
Jinyoung: Soyeon your theory
Soyeon: huh?
Jinyoung: it's adding up slowly. With his "dad" who has murdered innocents even criminals, of course he has trauma so that could mean he's doing this because...
Hongjoong: every criminal reminds him of his dad so he kills them to protect the innocents
Jinyoung: but why kill criminals when you are one yourself?
Hongjoong: who knows but this is slowly adding up we just need the name and the face and we can be able to track them down
Chanyeol: wait Soyeon you knew how he looked like and you knew his name! Do you remember?
Soyeon: uhhh I don't know...
Wooyoung: well shit
Soyeon: I think his name was Kang something
Hongjoong: well we got the last name
Soyeon: I don't really remember how he looked like
Hongjoong: damn well let's hope it'll come back to your memories
I nodded.
Y/N's POV
Yeosang wasn't here since I went back to my room. I wonder where he's at and I wonder if I can escape. I left my room and looked around to see if there's a way to leave. There's only one window, no back door and nothing else so there's no other way to leave and I bet there's security because if there wasn't, Yeosang wouldn't leave me here alone and I would've been able to escape.
Y/n: fucking bitch
Yeosang: language
I turned around to see Yeosang at the doorway. He closed the door and took off his shoes.
Y/n: where were you?
Yeosang: why are you curious? You sound like a worrying mother who's child came home very late or a wife who's seems pissed at their significant other because they came home late
Y/n: no
Yeosang: yes you do
I sighed.
Y/n: can you at least tell me where you were?
Yeosang: no
Y/n: what are you even doing with those weapons?
Yeosang: oh my god stop talking! You're so curious about everything!
Y/n: well no shit!!! I'm a fucking intern who's wanting to be a detective and I got fucking kidnapped so of course I'm going to be curious about everything!!!
Yeosang: but I need you to shut the fuck up!!
Y/n: no!! You don't get to tell me what to do!!!
Yeosang: oh my god Y/N!!!!
He threw a knife at me but I ducked. I turned around and knife hit the wall.
Y/n: you son of a bitch!!
I went to go grab the knife and I pointed it at him.
Yeosang: go on. Stab me
I went up towards him but I tripped over my damn feet and Yeosang caught me.
