you were rushed into the emergency ward, doctors yelling at the nurses to move as they raced your bed to the emergency room
you were having a cardiac arrest, your heart beating at the speed of 467bpm, as your chest rose fell in a inhumane speed
jin held your palm, rubbing it. tears about to fall down through his eyes as he looked at your lifeless looking figure
the other 6 boys in front, making way for you
you were rushed into the room, the nurses holding back the 7 crying guys to go any further
the doctors immediately started with chest compressions, putting a ventilator for your breathing
you were having another panic attack due to which your heart was pumping blood to fast, high blood pressure, resulting in the heart to overwork and not enough oxygen in the blood
while on the drive here, to the hospital, everything was a crying mess but it got worse when the heart meter started reporting that you were having a very fast heart beat
everything became chaotic from there
your brain was barely functioning due to the drop in oxygen in blood since your heart was beating fast making you not take enough oxygen in the air you took in
the compressions start as they slowly start directing the oxiginating blood to the brain, the ventilator helping you take more air in
all this time you had no conscious
the chaos went as the doctors stressed
soon, you were slowly responding back, your body was responding back as your heartbeat started lowering and your breathing became deeper and more humanely
the doctors let out relieved sighs as you were out of the cardiac arrest
soon enough, your breathing was better and your heartbeat had become normal
the doctors concluded that it is unlikely you would have anymore cardiac arrests after this, concluding that you were out of the danger zone.
during all this, the members had all broke down, sobbing at the sight of their beloved ace maknae looking so lifeless and vulnerable
they all were triggered by those marks that animal gave, wanting to beat the shit out off them
hoseok blaming himself for not being faster because there was maybe, just maybe a chance you could have still been saved
namjoon being the only one who was not breaking down, he had to stay strong, as a leader. if he breaks down what would the others do? he comforted hoseok, telling him that it was not his mistake
after a stressful hour, a nurse reported that they could see you in your ward but you weren't conscious yet
the seven raced through the corridors as they slammed your door open, seeing you sleeping peacefully. Namjoon slowly walks to you as he grabs your palm and looks at your pale face, something seemed off about you but he shrugged it off.
everyone gathered around your bed and looked at your lifeless face, if it wasn't for you chest rising and falling very faintly, people would have assumed you were...dead..
taehyung, gently moved a strand of hair from covering your neck, revealing big dark marks, some with dried blood on top
this bought tears to everyone's eyes, as they softly sniffed and looked away
they were interrupted by nurses who came to give you food through PEG tubes
the 7 moved aside and sat on the couches in the room, blankly staring at your lying figure as the nurses inserted tubes inside you
as the nurses were about to go, one nurse came up to them and patted namjoon's shoulder, smiling comfortingly
'stay strong, your band member is a very strong girl, she will make it. don't worry'
namjoon nodded, smiling as the nurse left
minutes turned into hours as you still didn't wake up. all the boys didn't realize how the time went since they were to immersed thinking about your happy memories with them
'we are sorry but you need to wait outside, the doctors need to do some tests'
a nurse says snapping them out of their trace. jin nods as they all slowly get up and head outside, sitting down on the chairs outside.
minutes later they hear jogging sounds as they see Jackson and Han running towards them
'IS SHE OK?!'
han asks in worry
'we....don't know....'
'WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DON'T KNOW?!'
Jackson was about to take a step towards namjoon but was stopped by Han.
'calm down jackson'
Han says with a voice crack as they both sit down
they all sit in silence as a tear slips out of Han's eyes, thinking about his best friend. jackson looks at everyone to see their drained faces, pale and emotionless, looking like the life was sucked out of it
silence was interrupted by a doctor running towards them with a nervous expression
'Kim Y/n's family?'
'ya thats us, how is she?'
jackson asks as everybody stands up. seeing the doctor not reply, everyone gets suspicious
'I am sorry to say this....' the doctor starts
'but Y/n has slipped into coma....'
