Vraxx Leenher's POV
I felt her heaviness as she fell asleep in my arms while hugging me. I just smiled and kissed the top of her head, then I gently carried her, bridal style. She was already in a deep sleep, I wonder how many she had drink. This woman is really a stubborn sometimes. Nang makapasok sa kwarto niya ay marahan ko siyang inihiga sa kama. I removed her heels.
"What should I do to you?" I sighed. Iling-iling kong inalis ang damit niya at tinira ang damit pangloob. I scanned her body with a grin on my face. I guess the table have turned.
Nilinisan ko ang katawan niya at inalis rin ang make up niya at pagkatapos ay binihisan ko siya ng pangtulog. Inayos ko ang comforter na nakapatong sa katawan niya at marahang dinampian ng halik ang noo niya at pagkatapos ay tahimik akong lumabas ng kwarto niya. Bukas na lang siguro kami mag-uusap, kailangan kong bumalik sa burol ni Ken.
"You can stay for the night, Mr.Leenher." Lucifer's voice echoed the hallway. I paused just to looked at him sitting at the veranda with a wine glass on his hand. "Come join me for a bit."
Without further ado I went to the veranda and then sat to the chair in beside him. Nilagyan ko ng alak ang basong nasa harap ko at agad na sinimsim iyon. My lips pursed as the alcohol made its way to my throat.
"Gusto ko mang makasama sa pagtulog si Athena ngayon ay hindi pwede, kailangan kong bumalik sa burol." Saad ko habang nakatingin sa maliwanag na buwan.
"I see, don't worry I'll take care of her."
And for no apparent reason that statement of him some how calmed me. Hindi ko alam pero malakas ang tiwala ko sa lalaking ito, hindi ko siya gusto at aaminin kong nakakaramdam ako ng selos sa tuwing kasama siya ni Athena pero meroong parte saakin na inaaming ligtas siya kapag kasama niya ito.
"Thank you." Yan lang ang nasabi ko.
"I'm curious about something, Mr.Leenher." napalingon ko sa kaniya.
"Just call me Vraxx. What is it you're curious about?" I asked in confused.
"What exactly do you feel now that Ken, your best friend is gone?"
That made me stopped. Yan rin ang tanong ko sa sarili ko, the night before he died, he called me and told me that he was sorry. Nang mga oras na iyon ay tila nakaramdam akong kakaibang ginhawa sa dibdib ko. Para bang ang tagal ko nang gustong marinig ang salitang iyon mula sa kaniya. Ken is my best friend but there is this things that I don't know about, siya mismo ang nag sabi niyan saakin. Ken's and Nathan's bond are thicker than us three. May mga bagay silang alam na hindi ko alam and it's not a big deal for me because I don't give a fuck at all. We all need privacy and we don't need to tell each other everything.
"My apology, I should have known that it is a sensitive question." Seryusong sabi niya pa.
"I won't mind." I drink the last drop of the alcohol on my glass before standing up. "I should get going, it was nice to get along with you, Lucifer." He smiled, not a genuine one.
"Anytime."
I nodded my head and turned my back, pero hindi pa man ako nakakalayo ay muli ko siyang tinignan.
"Just so you know, I trust you. Ipinagkakatiwala ko saiyo ang girlfriend ko, Lucifer. Be with her when I couldn't."
Hindi ko na siya hinintay pang makatugon, agad akong tumalikod at umalis. Pagkalabas ko ng bahay nila ay agad sumakay sa kotse at pinaharorot iyon paalis.
Satana McDebil's POV
The moment I opened my eyes I immediately did my morning routine. I take a bath, wore an office suit, ate breakfast and went to the company. Ako lang din ang nagmaneho ng sasakyan ko kasi wala si Lucifer sa bahay si Tyrine naman nag overtime. Nagising ako kanina dahil sa tawag ni Tyrine, she told me that I needed to go to the office for today because I have a lot of work to do at sinabi niya din saakin na sa penthouse daw siya nagpalipas ng gabi, I don't mind tho.
Nang makapasok sa office ay naupo ako sa swivel chair at sinimulang magtrabaho. I read a lot of documents, signed a lot of paper, rejected a lot of projects and reply to some important emails. Lunch came, Tyrine brought me my lunch but I didn't mind. Iginugol ko lahat ng attention ko sa trabaho at palubog na ang araw nang makatapos ako. Tumayo ako at humarap sa malaking binta at inunat ang katawan ako.
"Nakakapagod." I whispered.
Kinuha ko yung lunch na binigay saakin ni Tyrine bago ako pumunta sa penthouse. Dito na lang ako kakain. Me and Tyrine haven't crossed our path since that night. She's maybe so busy here. Nasa kagitnaan palang ako ng pagkain nang biglang mag ring ang phone ko. I frowned when I saw Lucifer's name on the screen.
"Why the fuck you called?" Kalmado kong saad.
"Hmm. Filty mouth." Kunot noo kong muling tinignan ang screen kung si Lucifer ba talaga ang tumawag. He sounds, different. "Go home, Satana. We have something to discuss." And he ended the call.
Okay, what the fuck is he up to? Bakit ganoon siya magsalita? Si Lucifer ba talaga yun? Wala sa sarili akong napailing at mabilis na tinapos ang kinakain ko. I don't know but I felt like I needed to go home now. Inayos ko ang mga gamit ko at dali-daling lumabas. I took the elevator not minding the greetings of the staff. I went out immediately as the elevator stopped at the ground floor. Dumeretso ako sa parking lot at agad na pumasok sa kotse ko, I started the engine and drove away from the building.
Nang makarating sa bahay ay ginarahe ko muna ang kotse bago pumasok sa loob. I wandered my eyes around the living room, I think something is off. The house feels gloomy and dark, maybe because the lights were off but no, the ambience is different. Mabuti na lang ay maliwanag ang buwan kaya kahit papaano may liwanag dito sa living room. Napabuntong-hininga na lang ako at iling iling na umakyat sa hagdan. My head were down as I walked, ramdam ko na ang pagod. Natigil ako sa tapat ng veranda, nandoon si Lucifer, nakayuko at nakakros ang braso sa ibabaw ng dibdib niya habang patalikod na nakasandal sa railings. Kakaiba ang dating niya ngayon.
"Why'd you call me, Lucy?" I walk towards him but I immediately stopped midway. My breathing became heavy as those luminous red orbs examined me. "Y-You're.. You're not Lucifer." I exclaimed.
"Come, darling." His deep voice echoed. Walang pinagbago, ganito parin ang epekto niya saakin. Nagagawa niya paring patubigin ang mga mata ko sa takot kahit na wala pa siyang ginagawa. "I said, COME. HERE."
Inipon ko lahat ng lakas ng loob ko at dahan-dahang lumapit sa kaniya. Of course I wasn't looking at him, those red eyes is making my strength melt like an ice.
"Sit." He commanded. Agad ko naman iyon sinunod ng hindi parin siya tinitignan. Nakita ko sa gilid ng mga mata ko na pretente siyang umupo sa kaharap kong upoan. Only this tiny wood round table is the gap between us. "Ahh. Still the old Athena, I've known." He said in insult full of arrogance. This time, I looked at him, directly into his dazzling red orbs.
"What have you done to Lucifer?" I wanted to slap myself for asking in panic.
He let out an insulting chuckled which made me frowned. This devil surely knows how to annoy the hell out of me but frightened me at the same fucking time.
"Don't worry darling, he's fine. He's at the deepest of himself waiting for me to give the light back." Mahigpit akong napahawak sa hem ng skirt ko dahil sa sinabi niya. "How are you, Athena?"
"Bakit ka na nandito? Anong kailangan mo?" Kailangan matapos agad ang pag-uusap na ito dahil hindi ko kayang tagalan ang presensiya niya. A dangerous smirk formed oh his lips.
"Una sa lahat," He stupidly clapped his hands, "I want to congratulate you, it's been just 2 months and you're halfway done. I am very proud of you, darling, you really never failed to amaze me."
Umawang ang labi ko dahil sa sinabi niya. Kadalasan kapag meroon taong sinabihan ka ng proud sila saiyo ay matutuwa ka pero sa sitwasyon ko, hindi ako makahanap ng dahilan para ipagmalaki ang mga nagawa ko. But what should I expect? This devil in front of me is Damon, one of the most powerful God on the underworld. Isa siyang demonyo, walang awa at walang pakiramdam. Tuso at walang kwentang nilalang. I am afraid of him and I will always will.
"Ano ang pangalawa?" Seryuso kong tanong, kailangan kong magtapang-tapangan sa harap niya, he hates weak people.
"Maaaring nasabi na ito saiyo ni Lucifer pero sasabihin ko ulit. You need to take a break, two to three weeks will do." He confidently brushed his hair through his fingers. "And bring Vraxx with you."
"What?!" I yelled in disbelief. "Leave Vraxx out of whatever shit you're thinking about, Damon."
He laughed. Pinatong niya ang mga kamay niya sa lamesa at bahagyang inilapit saakin ang mukha niya. In that kind of position he stared at me.
"Fun fact, it wasn't me who involved Vraxx in this situation, Athena." Guilt slowly creeped inside me. Bumalik siya sa pagkakaupo at tila naging masaya sa naging reaksyon ko. "You see, you're the one who made things more complicated. Kung hindi mo sana pinairal iyang kalandian mo baka wala ka nang ibang poproblemahin."
"Hindi landi ang tawag doon, Damon!" I slammed the table and stood up. Nagagalit ako, sa sobrang galit ko ay nagsimula nang magsituloan ang mga luha ko. "You don't know a thing! Hindi landi ang ta--"
"And what do you called it?" He stood up too, his eyes were wide opened. "Oh yes, it's the crazy little thing called love. Fool! Alam mong ganito ang kakahantongan pero anong ginawa mo huh?"
Marahas kong pinunasan ang mga luha ko at iniwasan siya ng tingin. Pero hindi siya nadala dahil sa isang iglap lang ay nasa harapan ko siya. He, then, harshly cupped my face with his one hand and made me looked at him.
"Never removed your eyes on me when I talked to you." Mariin niyang sabi. "Now tell me, tell me what you did, Athena. Tell me you were wrong."
I sobbed, I could feel myself shaking in fear. Damon is just so horrendous and terrifying. He always made me feel small and make everything more harder for me.
"P-Pinili ko paring makipaglandian kay Vraxx. N-Nilandi ko siya at inaamin kong nagkamali ako." Napipilitan at maluha-luha kong sabi.
"Good girl." Marahas niyang binitawan ang panga ko dahilan kong bakit napasalampak ako sa sahig. Umayos ng tayo si Damon at inayos ang medyo nagusot niyang damit. "Magbabakasyon sa kahit saang bansa mo gusto at isasama mo si Vraxx sa ayaw at gusto mo." Sabi niya pa habang sumusuot ng itim na gloves. "You wanna know why? Ask me why, darling."
"W-Why?" I can still feel the pain of his gripped on my jaw earlier.
"Binibigyan kita ng mahabang oras para aminin sa kaniya lahat ng nagawa mo. Kung bakit ka nandito, kung paanong nabuhay ka ulit. Lahat-lahat, Athena." Dahan-dahan siyang naglakad palapit sa pwesto ko, wala akong ibang nagawa kundi ang lumuluha siyang tiningala. "And if you don't do it, it's either Lucifer or me will do. With or without your permission."
"Fuck you." I whispered.
"Filthy mouth." He grabbed my jaw again. "Let me clean it for you." And he, then, aggressively pulled my face closer to him and kissed me.
Agad akong nanlaban. I was crying, crying so hard. Paulit-ulit ko siyang tinulak pero mas malakas siya saakin. I could feel his tongue trying to get in and at that moment I gathered all my strength and pushed him away and it worked. Agad akong gumapang paatras para makalayo sa kaniya.
"It was nice discussing with you, Athena. Please don't forget our lesson for today." He even licked his lips while smirking which made me sobbed in disgust. "Ipanalangin mong si Lucifer ang makausap ni Vraxx kapag nagkataon na hindi mo parin nagawa ang utos ko, dahil hindi mo magugustohan kapag ako ang kumausap sa kaniya. Farewell, darling." He winked before he disappeared.
I covered my mouth with my two palm to stop myself from sobbing too loud. It was just a kissed but I felt so disgusted about it. Nakakatakot, natakot ako ng sobra. Kasi kayang kaya niya akong burahin sa mundo sa oras na ginusto niya. Pero mas natatakot ako para kay Vraxx. Hinding-hindi ko hahayaang malapitan siya ni Damon. Hinding-hindi.
