Hello peeps! I know it's been long. It's just I am still getting used to college life and too much stuff to handle at same time. Once the internals ended, now even externals are there standing on my head. I realized it would take me a month before a I start updating regularly so I thought to give you guys a little present for your patience and love!

Author's POV
It was midnight when Rey tried to pull Taani closer in his sleep but when he moved his arm over the bed it was empty. He woke up startled on not finding her sleeping besides him. Looking around the room, he tried finding her if she was there in the room, then checked the bathroom but there was no sign of her. Panicked he rushed out of the room to look for her.
Descending the stairs, going to the ground floor he checked the garden area and the pool area but could not find her. He was going to call when sniffing sounds reached his ear. Straining them hard he tried to find where the voices were coming from when he found that someone was there in the kitchen.
Hoping and praying that it is his wife, he rushed in that direction and the sight in front of him made him both sigh in relief and sad.
There was his four months pregnant wife with her swollen belly (slightly more than a four month pregnant lady), looking in the fridge and sniffing and crying. Shaking his head at the panic and tension she gave him, he moved inside calling her,
"Jaan! What are you doing here in the middle fo the night? Tumhe pata hai main kitna tensed tha when I didn't saw you beside me."
Taani turned to him with her puffy eyes and lips pouting like a baby, Rey sighed before cupping her cheeks and pecking her pout before taking her in a bear hug. She hugged him back wailing,
"Mujhe bhuk lag rahi thi, isliye main niche aa gayi." Breaking the hug she looked at him with her eyes big in wonder and shining bright, "Mujhe na blueberry ice-cream khaani hai but vo hai hi nahi."
Rey was first confused at her demand,
"But jaan, tumhe to blueberry ice cream bilkul pasand ni na? Tumhare liye main laya to tha tumhari favourite ice creams."
He went to the refrigerator and took out butterscotch, chocolate and vanilla ice cream for her. Shaking her head she moved towards him like a baby and stomped her feet,
"Nahi, mujhe blueberry ice cream hi khani hai. Ye sab nahi."
She looked at the ice creams distastefully making faces. He mentally chuckled,
Here goes her cravings!
He was going to say something when she whined pointing at him,
"Ye sab na aapki wajah se ho raha hai."
Once again it was time for him to be confused because he again asked,
"Matlab? Meri wajah se kya?"
Huffing she crossed her arms before looking away,
"Ye weird cravings. Abhi baby aaya bhi nahi hai or abhi se sari aadatein aapki jesi, kabhi karela khane ka mann hota hai baby ka, to kabhi jalebi or ab blueberry ice cream or ye sab aapka hi favourite hai."
This time he didn't try to hide his laughter and burst out chuckling shaking his head in wonder and amusement, she just pouted annoyed,
"Don't laugh at me."
"To or kya karu? You look so cute!" he exclaimed pulling her cheeks before saying pulling her closer through her waist, still with a little distance because of her protruding belly, "Or rahi baat baby ki, to meri princess hai, meri jesi hi hogi na."
He said smartly, raising his invisible collar, she scoffed, crying long forgotten now before saying threateningly,
"Jo bhi ho, aapka baby hai na, aap hi iski cravings jhelo ab. Mujhe blueberry ice cream khani hai, or agar aapne ni khilayi to one hand distance for a month."
His eyes widened fearfully and he smiled awkwardly shaking his head in no,
"You are joking right jaan?"
Smiling innocently,
"Nope! I want blueberry ice cream now."
He sighed knowing that he could do nothing now. A surge of mood swings and food cravings had taken over his pregnant wife and if he denies her then it would not be good for him. AT ALL!
Moreover he somewhere loved fulfilling all her demands, knowing how much she was suffering during this time. Carrying a life inside of her, her morning sickness, weight gain, look insecurities and moreover cravings at any time of the day. All of this was too much for his love and the least he can do is fulfil all her wishes and cravings with a big smile on his face.
Making her look at him he nuzzled their noses together, it was too hard for her to not forget her anger and just give in his sweet gestures and love but she maintained her cute angry stance.
"Your wish is my command meri jaan. Main abhi laya aapki blueberry ice cream."
Her face lit up like thousand stars and chuckling he gobbled her cheeks slightly making her shriek and wiggle slightly,
"Rey! Stop!" he did backing off smiling widely finally seeing her shine coming back on her face,
"Aap sachhi bol rahe ho?"
She asked and he nodded immediately, jumping slightly she clapped her hands,
"To kya na hum dono sath chale ice cream khane?"
He frowned not liking the idea, it was cold outside and she might get sick along with the baby but one look at her, and his demeanour broke, giving up he agreed making her jump in happiness.
He said panicked,
"Jaan stop, too much jumping is not good for you."
She immediately stopped biting her tongue and made an apologetic face befre tugging at his arm,
"Sorry sorry! Please chalo na!"
Shaking his head at her carelessness, he went inside and brought a warm stole for her before covering her body with it. Grabbing the car keys they went outside. He made her sit inside carefully before hopping towards his side and drove away. All the while she was just admiring him, seeing how he took care of her, taking her to eat at the middle of the night just to see her smile. She mentally chuckled seeing him drive slowly than the normal speed because of the baby.
Rey drove around searching for an ice cream parlour that would be open at this hour and thankfully he found one near the beach. Getting down he first helped her out of the car and made her sit on a table. Going inside he brought one blueberry ice cream for her and one chocolate ice cream for himself.
Taani squealed seeing him bringing the ice cream, holding her hand they both walked towards the beach and settled down there with their ice cream cups.
The moon was at the peak and the stars were shining brightly, a calm and oeaceful gow was there on her face. Rey wondered if it was her pregnancy glow or the light of the moon was reflecting on her face. Whatever it was, nothing seemed more beautiful to him than his pregnant wife, carrying the symbol of their love sitting beside him gobbling down his favourite ice cream which she absolutely hates.
Sometimes he felt guilty, when she had to eat things that she doesn't like only because of her cravings. But even then she looked so happy as if she herself love those things.
Taani glanced at him for a second seeing him looking at her constantly, she first blushed hard at his intense gaze asking,
"You want some?"
She pointed towards her ice cream, looking at her face he admired her eyes, her button nose and soft lips, his thumb automatically grazed lightly at her lips making her shudder and he smirked at the effect he had on her,
"Just this much!"
Saying that he leaned down and caught her lips in a sweet kiss tasting the little ice cream that was still there on her lips. Her eyes closed in pleasure while his did too.
They both smiled in the kiss feeling a certain bliss that was just too good to be true. Breaking the kiss, leaving her panting, he leaned their foreheads together and they sat like that with their heads touching taking in the serene night. The night was still young and they spent it sitting beside the ocean gazing at the moon, the stars and specially EACH OTHER!
