Melissas long, dark brown hair is all wet when she walks in to the crowded bar. Her white converse leave puddles of water as she walks further in to look for him. Not the best choice in shoes, but how would she know it was gonna rain?
Her eyes wander around the warm, fairly dark room that smelled like sweat and desperation. It can't be that hard to find the tall, blond Irish lad she knows so well. Or maybe it can?
After all, it's been three years since they last saw each other.
Who is she kidding? Melissa has his whole face memorized in her head. His soft hair.
How it felt tangled in her fingers.
His warm cheeks.
How hot he looked when he was blushing.
His soft pink lips.
The electric wave that went through Melissa when they met hers for the first time.
A light tap on the shoulder snaps Melissa out of her trance. Two hands lay themselves softly on her shoulders. She freezes.
His hands.
A deep voice ends the silence in Melissas thoughts and her breathing takes a fast halt.
"Looking for me?"
