If you are looking for romance stories that have flawed leads, real character development, exploring the extent of mental health issues, and stray away from your stereotypical cloud nine romance plot then this series is a must read.
(Warning: there are some parts of the story that are triggering esp for people battling with mental health issues. So I hope that you'll stay open minded about it)
I also recommend the second series which is basically a stand alone story so no need to read the book 1 but the characters are connected.
Veiled Diaries #2: Mask of Blues (super great, I truly recommend it because it introduced me to a whole new genre of romance. It also taught me so many lessons about overcoming inner self turmoil.)
