the school was pretty much empty when renjun arrived which he was happy about. he made his way to the library and started to read the first book to the maze runner series until 7am
checking his book out as usual he left and went to his first period which was art.
his classes went smoothly he had art and math with jeno but other then that he knew no one else. when lunch rolled around renjun went right back to the library to start the second maze runner book since he had finished the first one this morning. as he sat down he heard his name being called and looked up to see jeno.
"hello jun" jeno said sitting down and renjun just waved
"what cha readin?"
renjun lifted his book so he could see the cover
"omg i love the movies have you seen them their so good!" renjun just shook his head and went back to reading
"are you still coming tonight?" he asked and renjun nodded and before they could continue a angry kun walked over with a apologetic looking taeyong
"i'm so sorry" taeyong mouthed
"you want to explain why my friend saw you outside at almost 3 in the morning at the mart? when the hell did you come home ?! did you even come home?" kun whisper yelled only loud enough for the other 3 to hear
'i wanted a slushie, then something happened and i met taeyong hyung and he comforted me then i stayed at the mart to teach jeno sign language because he wanted to learn so it was easier for me to communicate with him please don't tell mom' renjun signed
'i won't tell mom. only because she will ground your ass. jeno? like the jeno from the art room? the jeno sitting next to us?' kun signed back and renjun nodded 'he made you cry why are you with him?'
'i just wanted a slushie last night and he works the 24/7 mart 12-5 so he was there. he didn't mean to upset me in the art room i promise'
'renjun i'm going to ask you this and you are going to answer me honestly okay?' kun signed with a serious expression 'do you like jeno?'
renjun looked at jeno who was looking at them contently but then raised an eyebrow when he saw his name was signed by kun. renjun smiled when he realized jeno understood that kun mentioned him meaning he remembered the sign language he taught him. renjun looked back at kun with a slight blush on his face and nodded looking down.
"I FUCKING KNEW IT" kun shouted a little to loud and scared all three boys. "oops sorry i meant to sign that. my bad" kun chuckled
'shut up you old hag or i swear i will kill you'
'i won't tell him. but he has a boyfriend already' the reminder of that hurt renjun and he slowly nodded showing that he knows and looked down
"what tdid you say now he's sad" taeyong said from across the table
"something about someone's boyfriend." jeno said
"wait what the fuck how did you know i said boyfriend?" kun asked confused on how he knew
"jun taught me a lot of words last night"
"okay then. i'll see you at home jun, taeyong let's go we have gym in 30 minutes and the gym is on the other side of the building and we need to change. gotta go see you later." kun said walking out with taeyong
"what was that about? all i could understand was 'jeno' and 'boyfriend'"
'it was nothing'
"tell meeeee" jeno whined
'he just wanted to know if jaemin was your boyfriend' renjun lied
"oh. oh shit jaemin. i gotta go i'll see you later" jeno said and ran out
renjun went back to reading until the bell rang.
*time skip*
renjun walked out his class after finished his last class of the day and was greeted by taeyong who was standing by his locker.
"what's going on with you and my brother"
renjun realizing what was about to happen brought out his phone and would type what he needed to say.
'nothing'
"bullshit. he looks at you with his puppy dog eyes and give you his eye smile. he's always around you and you two only met like 2 day ago."
'i don't know what you mean. we are friends'
"you don't have friends. you haven't ever had friends renjun."
'renjun?'
"that's your name isn't it? huang renjun? it's not hard to find if you know that your related to kun."
'what is it that you want'
"my brother had a boyfriend. he's off limits. you don't even need to be friends with him. go back to being a loner like you have been for years and don't screw up my brothers relationship." he said taking a step closer to renjun after the halls cleared out of students
'hyung i dont know what i did to upset you today but i promise me and your brother are just friends i don't like him like that'
"you sure about that? because i've always known you as the kid who doesn't want to be around anyone. keeps his nose in a book. gets special treatment from teachers. and doesn't have any friends"
'hyung you're scaring me.'
"maybe if you're scared enough you'll stay away from jeno."
'taeyong we are just friends'
"oh really? how about i introduce you to another friend." taeyong said then punched renjun right in the eye.
dropping to the ground from impact he let tears fall and held his eye trying to look up at taeyong who just scoffed and walked away.
"don't tell anyone what happened here" he said with his back turned to renjun while walking always
renjun didn't know what to do. he couldn't go home they would ask what happened. the library was closing early today. he had no where to go. he sat there and just let tears fall.
not realizing how much time had past the soccer team was released from practice and renjun was still sat on the hall floor. jaemin and jeno were talking to eachother while walking to through the building to get to their lockers to go home when they saw renjun.
"jun?" jaemin asked and walked quickly to the boy kneeling down
"what happened?" jeno asked voice full of concern
renjun wouldn't look at either of them not wanting them to see the black eye that was forming.
"junnie look at us please" jaemin said softly when he didn't comply he forced renjun to look at them with his hand
"oh my god" was all that came out of his mouth
"who the fuck did this?" jeno shouted
renjun sat there looking at them letting tears fall again. making both boys go soft they sat down next to him and jaemin pulled the smaller boy onto his lap and let him cry while jeno ran his fingers through his hair.
"jun love you gotta write us what happened. someone hurt you and that's not okay with us" jaemin said
renjun took out his phone and started typing
'i cant he told me i cant. i shouldn't even be with you two or else he will be mad.'
"who's he?"
'i cant say he told me not to.'
"we won't do anything to him if you tell us i promise." jeno said to him
'taeyong hyung.'
"as in my brother?" jeno asked voice lasted with fury again
'jeno you promised.'
"jun this was assault. BY MY OWN FUCKING BROTHER. where's your brother ? he's a football player too right? their in practice i'm going to get him"
jeno grabbed renjun and jaemin by their wrists to the football field where taeyong, kun and the other football players were standing by the benched for their break.
kun immediately noticed his brother and ran over to him to see why he was there but ran even faster when the black eye came into view.
"what the fuck happened?" kun shouted loud enough for everyone to hear
'i'm so sorry i'm so sorry i'm so sorry i'm so sorry please it's my fault i shouldn't have been friends with him please it's my fault you can't blame anyone else it's my own fault kun i swear' renjun pleaded while signing with tears falling.
"who did this."
"it was my brother" jeno said looking furiously at his brother who was talking to two other people.
"i'm going to kill him" kun started to walk away, when renjun tried to stop him kun shoved him back hard and he fell into jaemin.
kun walked right over to taeyong punching him straight in the face.
"YOU THINK YOU CAN HURT MY BROTHER AND GET AWAY WITH IT" he screamed getting on top of him after taeyong fell to the ground.
"huh?"
"YOU PIECE OF SHIT WHATS WRONG WITH YOU IM GONNA KILL YOU" kun shouted while others tried to pull him off.
the coach came running out and pulled kun off of taeyong who now had a busted and swollen lip, a black eye, and a bloody nose.
"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE" the coach shouted
"this bitch beat up my brother."
"taeyong. off the field. NOW" he shouted and another boy lifted taeyong up and helped him off the field into the building.
"where's your brother?" the coach asked and kun pointed to renjun jaemin and jeno.
"you three get over here" he called out and the three walked over.
the football players recognized renjun but had no idea that kun was his brother. you could here the whispers going around like "mystery boy has a brother" "why don't i ever see them together" "the the hell is going on"
"alright alright players off the field besides kun. practice is canceled for the rest of the time." with that all the other players left the field"

it WAS fun but now that it's online it literally sucks. anyways i wrote this chapter instead of doing my stage homework so enjoy.
omg i have a history project due tomorrow fuck.
AND i have a stage production presentation due.
i'm ✨struggling✨ and tired i just remembered i still haven't slept. might fuck around and ignore my assignments and just sleep 😌
also yes. taeyong is the bad guy in the story. maybe eventually i'll tell y'all why he is and why he's acting like this.
what do y'all think will happen with jeno and renjun ? those two seem to be getting close, and jaemin apparently 'doesn't care' so who knows what will happen
