Unknown POV:

Shigaraki sounded pissed off, more so than usual.

Dabis's choice to send the Nomu into the city earlier than planned had caused some pretty major inconveniences.

Hawks was on one of the other lines, sounding completely exhausted. "UA has ended my internship with the girl. They plan on keeping her on campus until you guys are no longer deemed a threat to her safety."

Shigaraki spoke next. "Our insider could do something about that, couldn't you? You do hold the authority."

"Not without facing disagreement. Eraserhead is her primary guardian, it was his decision, and if I were to try and persuade him to change his mind it would only be cause for suspicion. And before you ask about my other tactic, that would be much too obvious."

"Fine." Shigaraki paused. "I assume all is ready, to begin with Masters plan?"

"Yes, it should be occurring within the next few days."

Hawks sighed. "Can someone please tell me exactly what this plan is?"

"It doesn't concern you, Hawks," Dabi shouted from somewhere behind Shigaraki.

"Yes, he's right. You may go ahead and hang up now Hawks, we need nothing more from you."

"Come on, Shigaraki. Have I not proven my loyalty?"

"We will contact you after the plan has been completed. Do not try and reach us anytime beforehand."

It took a moment, but Hawks seemed to understand that he wouldn't be getting any further with the villain. The sound of his line disconnecting caused Shigaraki to speak once more.

"I need you to include one more element into our plans."

"And what would that be?"

"You say Eraserhead is her primary caretaker, and he's the one who called off the internship?" Shigaraki asked.

"Yes, he's helped her with training and was the main hero advocating for her rescue during the time of her captivity."

"He has become quite the inconvenience. One that needs to be taken care of."

"What would you like me to do?"

Bakugous POV:

His neck was aching, and the sound of voices caused him to open his eyes.

His vision was blurry, but he could make out a faint light coming from in front of him.

And then he realized where exactly he had fallen asleep.

His head was on your shoulder. Damn, that was embarrassing.

When he could finally see what was in front of him, he realized the voices he had heard were coming from his laptop. Meaning that you had probably fallen asleep with the show still playing.

He lifted his head and reached out to shut the laptop but was stopped by the sound of your voice.

"Hey, I'm still watching that."

He looked over, surprised to see you awake. "It's four in the morning, why the hell are you awake?"

"This show is really good, I need to at least get to the end of season one."

Rubbing his eyes, he looked closer to the screen. It seemed to be in the middle of some kind of fight scene. "Why is that dude wearing a blindfold?"

"I don't know. I think most of the sorcerers wear something to cover their eyes."

"Sorcerers? What the hell kind of weird show are you watching?"

"You know, if you're gonna be all judgemental you can take your ass right back to sleep."

He raised an eyebrow, and then leaned forward and shut the laptop.

"Hey!"

"I will be taking my ass back to sleep and so will you. Go to bed," he grumbled.

"Last I checked, you were not in charge of me."

"And last I checked this was my room, and that was my laptop."

The room was dark, but he could tell you were glaring.

He returned the look.

With a defeated sigh, you picked up the laptop and placed it onto his lap. "Fine."

After putting the laptop onto the ground, he pulled the covers up and attempted to fall back asleep.

But he could tell that you were still wide awake.

"Ok, what's keeping you up? And for the love of god don't try and tell me that you're fine."

You shrugged. "I don't know, the fact that I almost died probably has something to do with it. And after what happened yesterday I just have a lot of things on my mind."

"Like what?"

You looked over. "It freaks me out knowing that the villains can track me somehow."

Yeah, that was a pretty concerning thought. "As much as I hate it, they probably used some of your DNA. The thing was most likely able to track you using that."

"Yeah, that would make sense." You loosed a breath. "I hate the idea of being stuck on campus again. I know it's for my safety or whatever, but what if they do decide to attack here? At that point it's not just my life at stake it's yours too. Everyone in our class and the other classes are at an even higher risk because of this."

"Tch, I'll blow them up before they can do any real damage."

"It's not you that I'm necessarily worried about. There are students here that are in classes that have nothing to do with fighting villains. Classes A and B would be trained, the others would be helpless."

"Well, not everyone in our class would be useful. Regardless of the amount of training they've had."

You laughed. "If you're talking about Mineta, I don't really care about what would happen to him."

His expression darkened. "That little creep hasn't tried anything with you, has he?"

"As if I would let him get within three feet of me."

"Good." About a week after you had shown up at school he had warned that grape-headed kid about what would happen if he so much as breathed too close to you.

Sure, at that time you had pissed him off to no end. But the thought of guys like Mineta being around you, that had caused some pretty intense rage.

You rolled over, scooting closer to his side. It seemed that the late hour had finally hit you.

He hadn't known that Mr. Aizawa was making you stay on campus again. That most likely meant that your internship was ending as well.

He would never say it out loud, but that thought sent a brief shot of satisfaction through him. It had been tough to act as if he wasn't jealous of you working with the number-two hero.

Lightly shaking his head, he looked down at where your head lied on the pillow. He shouldn't be having those feelings, he needed to be supportive. Even if you denied it, you were on the path to becoming a hero. That was what he had been hoping for this entire time, there was no reason for jealousy.

He stared down at you, watching the slow rise-and-fall of your chest.

Instead of focusing on any of those other things, he needed to appreciate these kinds of moments. The moments where the two of you were together, without any sort of outside interruptions.

With everything that had been going on in these past couple of weeks, he couldn't help but feel slightly left behind. A feeling that most likely contributed to the jealousy.

He was training constantly, trying to catch up once again, but nothing seemed to be working.

And with all of the opportunities you had been given, there had been no time for the two of you to do any normal stuff together. Lately, the only time you both had together was at night. When you would watch TV or simply lie next to each other before falling asleep.

It wasn't that he disliked that, in fact, it was something he tended to look forward to after long hours of classes and training.

He just couldn't help but feel as if your relationship had become... stuck, somehow.

It could have also been that he was so used to the way it had been for months before. The tension between you both as you fought, the constant arguing, the unspoken words that neither of you knew how to speak aloud.

Not doing that crap anymore, it was weird.

He also had about zero clues on how relationships were supposed to work. So all of these thoughts and feelings were completely uncharted territory for him.

He settled back in and let out a soft sigh.

He knew he cared about you, he trusted you, and for now, he would just have to go on that.

----------------------

After completing his morning workout, Bakugou took a quick shower and dressed in some casual clothes for the day.

Looking over to his bed, he noticed that you were still fast asleep.

Dumbass, staying up till four in the morning was gonna make you sleep past breakfast.

He debated waking you up but decided against it. If he pulled you out of your sleep without any sort of food in hand, there would probably be an issue. And that was not something he wanted to deal with this morning.

He walked out into the hallway and made his way to the elevator.

When he got to the first floor, most of the class had already gotten their food and begun to eat. He had decided on the way down that he was just gonna grab two trays of food and bring them back to his room.

He wasn't in the mood to socialize, and eating breakfast with you sounded a lot better than hanging out with these people before class started.

As he walked up to the area where he could grab the breakfast trays, he heard the familiar cheerful voice of Kirishima coming up behind him.

"Hey, Bakugou!" The red-haired boy came up to his side. "How's it going?"

"It's fine."

"Oh, good. I was kinda worried after what went down. Is Y/N doing ok after all that?"

"Yeah, she's good." He grabbed the trays and looked up, his expression darkening whenever he saw Kaminari walking up with that purple-haired guy that had been hanging around.

Kaminari waved. "Hey, guys!"

Kirishima waved back, but Bakugou remained where he was.

The two boys stopped near them and addressing the purple-haired guy... Shinsou, he spoke. "Are you like, moving in with us now?"

He responded in a tone that sounded as if he would much rather be anywhere else than here at this moment. "Not yet, but Mr. Aizawa has asked that I get more accumulated with the class. Meaning that I'll come here for things like meals, or whatever."

Shinsou looked around. "Where is-"

"She's still sleeping. I'm bringing her food." He responded, his eyes narrowed.

"Good for you. I was planning on asking where the drinks were, I'd like a bottle of water." Shinsou cocked his head to the side, the gesture almost mocking.

Yeah, he knew that you were friends with this guy, but there was definitely gonna be some problems.

Kaminari chuckled nervously. "Uhm, the drinks are over here. I'll walk with you."

Bakugou glared as they brushed past him.

Kirishima looked back at him. "So, uh. See you in class?"

"Yeah."

He turned and began walking back to the elevators, carrying a tray of food in each hand. His thoughts wandered to the potential lesson for today. Maybe there'd be a training exercise and he'd be able to kick the new guys' ass.

That thought brought a slight grin to his face.

Opening the door to his dorm, Bakugou stepped inside, shutting it behind him.

He placed the food on his desk and looked over to where you had begun to stir in bed.

You mumbled something unintelligible and rolled over, squinting your eyes against the light shining through the curtains.

"Turn off the lights," you grumbled.

"The lights are off. That's the sun, dumbass."

You groaned and rolled back over, putting your face into the pillow.

He grabbed the small bowl of rice from the tray he had grabbed for you and walked over to the bed.

Your head lifted slightly. "Did you bring me food?"

"No, I just grabbed some extra. If you don't get out of bed I'm eating it."

You quickly reached out your arm and took the bowl from his hand. "Absolutely not."

He chuckled, "just eat fast. Class is starting soon and I'm not gonna be late because you decided to binge watch some weird show."

"It wasn't weird, you just have boring taste when it comes to entertainment."

"Whatever."

-------------------

Y/N's POV:

After getting ready and finishing the food Bakugou had brought, the two of you had walked to class together.

It felt like it had been a while since you'd gotten a normal day of classes like this, and you also had a movie night to look forward to.

"As you all probably know, we have a new addition to the hero course." Aizawa gestured to the desk that had been added for Shinsou.

"The class dynamic works better if we have an even number, and instead of kicking someone out, we decided to let someone in. Someone who has proven himself to be worthy of the hero course."

You couldn't help but smile. When you had first run into Shinsou, he had spoken about how he knew what it was like to be villainized for things that you had no control over, he had been worried that you would view him the same way. But now he was here, training to be a hero.

Aizawa yawned. "Anyway, let's begin today's class."

From the desk next to you, you could see Bakugou staring daggers at the back of Shinsous head.

His gaze remained like that for most of the day, and it had probably been lucky that Shinsou had chosen to sit with his friends from the general studies course during lunch.

After classes had finished, you walked back with your friends to the dorms.

Ashido and Kirishima were talking about the recent history lessons, attempting to figure out the best way to study for the upcoming quiz and Kaminari was showing you the playlist that Jirou had shared with him.

"See, it isn't music that I'd usually choose, but now that I've listened to all of the songs I'm totally gonna improve my taste."

You smiled, "that's actually really cute."

His cheeks flamed. "Well- uh, it wasn't like a flirty thing." His expression turned to confusion, then joy. "Or, maybe it was! Do you think so?"

With a shrug, you looked behind you. "So, how was your first day as a hero in training?" You asked Shinsou.

"Since there weren't any training exercises today, Aside from slight differences it wasn't all too different from general studies classes."

"We're nothing like those average classes," Bakugou stated.

"Average? Many of the students in those classes could easily take you in a fight. They simply didn't pass the entrance exam because their quirks weren't suited against giant robots." He looked up with challenge brimming in his eyes. "I myself, am a prime example of that."

"You think you could beat me?! Alright, asshole let's settle this here and now then!"

"Come on, you two leave it alone!" Ashido shouted.

You didn't say anything. If they wanted to fight then that was up to them. If anything, you'd probably record it just so you could look back and laugh.

Shinsou chuckled. "I don't need to prove myself to you. You'll learn eventually."

He began walking in a different direction. "I'm gonna head back to my dorm, see you guys later."

Looking over to Bakugou, you gave a teasing look. "You know, if you keep making that face it's gonna end up sticking."

"I'm not making a damn face."

"With how hard you've been glaring I'm surprised the look hasn't burned holes through Shinsous shirt. What's your deal?"

He scoffed. "We've barely even seen the dude fight and now he gets welcomed into our class?"

"I've trained with him a couple of times." You shrugged, "he's pretty good. Better than some of the other people in the class."

Those were obviously the wrong words to say.

"If he's so damn good then why don't you go walk with him, huh?!"

Your brows narrowed as you approached the dorm building. "What is your issue? You're acting like even more of an asshole than usual today."

"My problem is with that damn idiot thinking he can just waltz into our class and claim that we're all just average!"

You didn't want to press the matter with your other friends around, but there seemed to be more to it than what he was letting on.

You all walked inside and stepped onto the elevator, and after a few moments, everyone had gotten onto their respective floors.

Once you and Bakugou were alone, you crossed your arms and looked at him. "I get your whole thing about people thinking they're better than you, but I feel like your anger at him goes a little further than that. You barely even know the guy."

"Oh, so now you're on his side?!"

"His side? No! I'm just trying to understand what's going on with you. It can't just be one person that's making you so upset."

He stopped as he opened the dorm door, but didn't respond.

After he had placed your bags on the floor, you lightly placed your hand on his arm. "You're the one who was yelling at me to talk about my feelings. You are aware that that goes both ways, right?"

"There's nothing I need to talk about. The dude just pisses me off."

You sighed. "You are aware that he and I are just friends, right?"

"Tch, of course, I know that."

You removed your hand. "Good, I have to go over to watch a movie with Eri and Aizawa, but you and I will be talking when I get back. So use the time to mentally prepare yourself to open up about your feelings."

He rolled his eyes. "I told you-"

"Don't even try it." You flicked his nose and smiled, "I'll see you later."

He grumbled under his breath but didn't try and argue any further.

-------------------

A sense of nostalgia surrounded you as you walked down the hallway leading to Aizawa's place.

So much had changed since he had first brought you here. Sometimes, you missed it, those days where you had a single goal to focus on and the only thing you worried about was making sure you only used a single ability during class training.

But, as nice as those times sounded, you wouldn't go back even if given the opportunity. No matter how much you had lost, you had gained a large amount as well.

An example of that was the little girl who opened the door when you knocked.

Eri smiled when she saw you, something she had been doing much more of lately. "You made it!"

You returned the smile. "Of course I did. Sorry we had to postpone, I got a little... busy yesterday."

Her face fell. "Yeah, you had to fight that scary monster didn't you?"

You were going to talk with whoever had let Eri watch that battle on the news.

"Yeah, but I'm here now, and luckily I'm all healed up." You looked down at the clothes she was wearing. "I love those pajamas."

She held her fists up to her chest and lightly bounced up and down. "I got to go shopping!"

Aizawa's voice came from inside. "Eri, I know you're excited to talk to her, but you should probably open the door so she can actually come in."

"Oh," she pulled the door open further and you stepped inside.

"Shopping, huh? What did you pick out?"

"I got clothes, and stuff for my room, and I even found a special thing!"

"That's awesome! What did you get?"

She turned. "I'll get it from my room, be right back."

As she ran to the room that you had once occupied, you walked over to the couch and sat down next to Aizawa. "She seems to be adjusting well."

"Yeah, it's only been a few days but she's doing better than any of us would have expected." He looked over. "I think a lot of that is thanks to you and the other students. She finally has some friends and is beginning somewhat of a normal life."

"Has the staff kept the information about her quirk quiet? Since the League was working with the villain who held her, they may have taken an interest." The thought of any of them getting their hands on her made you sick.

"I have made sure that Eri is perfectly safe. The villains were only aiding Overhaul to gain information and overthrow him."

"Ok, good."

He continued. "For her added safety, and your own, the staff has made arrangements to increase security starting tomorrow. New defense mechanisms and safety protocols have also been introduced. Everyone here will be protected."

Crap, although the added protection was a good thing, that meant it would be difficult for you to make it off campus after tonight. You still needed to talk to Hawks... meaning you had to go out tonight.

Eri came running back into the living room, behind her billowed a bright red cape.

She stopped in front of you, "see? It's a hero cape like Lemillion has."

"Wow, that looks super cool. And when you were running you could see it flapping behind you, like you were flying!"

Her eyes widened and she looked behind at her cape "really?"

You nodded and she began running once more, keeping her eye on the cape behind her.

"She's been looking forward to this all day if you couldn't tell." Aizawa leaned his head back on the couch. "Eri, we have to turn the movie on. We want to be able to finish it before bedtime."

"Oh, yeah." She came back over and sat between the two of you. Reaching out her hand, she dropped a bar of chocolate into your lap. "Wanna share?"

"Definitely."

You opened the chocolate as Aizawa turned on the TV.  "I watched this movie as a kid. I think the two of you should enjoy it."

You and Eri both took a bite and watched as the film began to play.

The style of it was similar to movies you used to watch at home, with your family. You were pretty sure it was done by the same studio as well.

Sitting comfortably on the couch, sharing food, and enjoying a movie together, this moment in time made you feel as if you were back at home.

Although everything was different from then, the circumstances were still somewhat of the same.

You looked at Aizawa, who was reluctantly eating a piece of the chocolate that Eri had handed him. You looked at Eri, who was staring at the screen intently, watching as the girl on the screen began running on top of the ocean waves.

You were with family.

-------------------

By the time the movie came to an end, both Eri and Aizawa had fallen asleep.

Eri had her head in your lap, a small piece of chocolate still in her hand.

You lifted her head, just enough for you to slide over and stand up, then gently laid her back down onto the couch.

You took the candy from her hand and placed it back into the wrapper. Taking the cape she had shown you earlier, you placed it over her like a blanket.

It was late, and you knew Bakugou was probably waiting for you back at the dorms. But you needed to speak with Hawks tonight, tell him that you could no longer participate in the deal.

You walked out into the hallway, softly shutting the door behind you.

It wasn't that you had given up, but what you were doing with Hawks no longer had any meaning. You needed to come up with a different plan and do so on your own. Bringing other people into your revenge would only result in casualties.

Because of the cameras, you would need to stop by your dorm and change into your costume. So you would go quickly and then make it back to campus within the hour. That way, Bakugou wouldn't be left waiting all too long and you wouldn't have to risk going out on another night.

It would be easy, all you needed to do was talk to Hawks about your theories and then inform him of the situation. There would be no stopping to fight, just a quick trip there and back.

--------------------

The inside of Hawks' office was darker than normal.

You stepped inside, looking around for any sign of the hero.

It seemed he had left in a hurry, papers were strewn across the desk, his laptop had been left open, and a plate of half-eaten food sat on the coffee table.

Maybe it would be better to come back at a different time. But with the increased security on campus, it would be much more difficult to sneak away.

You needed to talk to Hawks tonight, tell him that this was all off. If the villains could track you there was no point in going around at night trying to find them.

You looked down at the suit you wore, a small pang of sadness hitting you.

These nightly endeavors had started as simply a way to track the League, but it had turned into something much more. Being able to serve some form of justice to the scumbags in the city had felt pretty damn good.

You just couldn't risk any more media attention, you needed to quit while you were ahead, before anyone managed to find out the true identity of 'Silhouette'.

You'd miss Hawks a little. As much as he annoyed you sometimes he had been a pretty cool mentor. Because of that, you felt as if you owed him goodbye in person. Maybe even a thank-you of sorts.

Deciding to wait a few minutes to see if he's come back, you took a seat on the couch and looked over to the window.

It was one of those rare nights, one where you could faintly see the stars shining through the clouds.

Maybe it was a sign. Tonight would be one that signaled a change in your life, but hopefully, it would be the good kind.

You could stay on campus, for now, train your hardest, and continue working toward your goal. Maybe you'd even try and start healing healthily.

But that healing process could only be completed once those villains were dead.

From the corner of your eye, a red-blinking light could be seen flashing continuously from the laptop sitting on Hawks' desk.

You tried to ignore it, but now that you had thought about it, the light had only become more noticeable.

Ok fine, all you were gonna do was walk to the desk and shut the laptop. Then you could sit on the couch without any issues.

Or maybe, you could just turn around so you don't have to see the light, idiot.

That wasn't going to be happening, though. Your curiosity had risen to the surface and now you needed to know what exactly was causing that blinking light.

Standing up, you walked over to the desk and put your hand on the top of the laptop, readying yourself to shut it.

You paused when you caught a glimpse of the screen.

On it was simply a blinking-red dot, along with a location.

Removing your hand, you looked closer to the screen.

The location was marked at this exact building.

Suspicion crept up your spine as you looked around the room. Maybe Hawks had been tracking an object of some sort and had brought it back here?

In the top-right corner of the screen were words that read 'location history.' You moved the mouse to the corner and clicked.

A list appeared. Locations, dates, and times of when this thing had been tracked could all be seen.

Your hands began to shake as you read.

The last location recorded before this office was at UA.

You continued scrolling, quicker than you had before.

Before UA, it was the hospital, then the restaurant you had sat down at before the Nomu attack before that was the arena where the Hero Billboard Chart had taken place.

You slammed the laptop shut, feeling your heart-rate beginning to increase.

Anger and confusion swirled throughout your body. A million different thoughts and theories ran across your mind.

But there was one thing you were nearly certain of, Hawks had been tracking you.

But, why? Was the question.

Had it been for your protection? So that he could be able to find you in the case of anything going wrong while you were out at night?

No, he had given you a phone to call in the case of anything going wrong.

The only other theory you had, was one that you could barely stomach.

Past conversations came rushing back to you.

"You know what Nomu are, right?"

"Nope, I haven't had any luck with the Leagues' whereabouts either."

"You aren't on very good terms with the heroes, are you? I don't blame you."

It would explain why he had offered you this opportunity, why he had put you in a position where you had to lie to the people you were close to.

It had become difficult to breathe. Every word he had said, every time he had gained a small bit of your trust, all of it had been a lie.

That realization hit you like a damn truck.

You yanked open all of the desk drawers, searching for further evidence.

Your mind wasn't processing things. No coherent thoughts formed, all you could feel was the stinging pain of betrayal.

When pulling one of the last drawers open, you gripped it a little too hard and accidentally pulled it completely off of its attachments.

With a shout you threw the drawer across the room, sending papers and other small items scattering.

You fell to your knees, gripping both sides of your head with your hands.

God, how could you have been so stupid?! You should have been able to see through his act, you should have realized something.

But you had wanted so badly to have this friendship. Hawks had saved you numerous times, he had bought you lunch, taken you around the city, and the entire time he had been plotting behind your back!

You picked up a small piece of paper to your side and crushed it in your hand, feeling yourself beginning to break down.

You needed to stop. If Hawks was gonna be back soon you couldn't be in this sort of state, you needed to be ready to ambush him as soon as he walked through the door.

Taking a deep breath, you opened your hand and let the paper fall into your lap. From what you could see, it was some kind of photo.

Something about the photo seemed oddly familiar.

You gently flattened it against the ground and then held it up for you to see clearly.

And your heart dropped.

This wasn't a photo he should have, there was no reason behind it. Even if he was working with the villains there was no need for him to keep this picture.

Your heart was racing, nausea swelled in your stomach and you clapped a hand over your mouth to stifle a sob.

From the other side of the room, you heard footsteps. Your head shot up and Hawks came into view, his expression unreadable in the dim light.

"Ah." He shut his eyes and loosed a breath.

"You... weren't supposed to see any of that."

------------------

Bakugou's POV:

He had been waiting on you for nearly four hours now.

His impatience grew by the second. You had been the one insistent on having him talk to you, and now you were making him wait.

This was stupid.

Yeah, maybe he was a little extra pissed off today. That didn't mean he needed some little sit-down chat.

He had already tried just going to sleep, but he had grown used to having you with him. And now he was unable to sleep well without knowing you were there.

He picked up his phone for like the twentieth time.

Scrolling through different news websites, he tried to find something that was worth his time, and could hopefully take his mind off of these stupid things he was feeling.

All of the trending articles had to do with the recent Nomu attacks. He scrolled for a minute, and when he was just about to turn off the phone, an article caught his eye.

What Exactly is This Vigilantes Quirk?: Recent Video Footage Causes Questions to Arise

He hadn't been keeping up with any of the stories about the vigilante running around the city. Frankly, they weren't of much interest to him. It was just some common criminal who thought they could be some sort of hero.

But there had been something else keeping him from reading those articles, a gut-feeling of sorts.

He pressed the link and scrolled down to the video underneath the first paragraph.

It seemed to be some crappy camera recording, the quality sucked and the video glitched.

This was stupid, probably just some crazy conspiracy people trying to create drama out of nothing.

At first, he could vaguely make out a shadowed figure in the alley. They seemed to be speaking to someone, but it was difficult to tell.

The screen grew brighter as Endeavor walked into view, the flames on his body blazing.

The two of them seemed to exchange words, but just as the Hero took another step forward, the vigilante tossed a small object at him and begin running to the side.

They landed a blow to the back of his head, but before they could move again, Endeavor managed to grab hold of them and knock them to the ground.

Well, that hadn't been much of a fight. Why the hell were people making such a big deal about this person anyways?

Endeavor stalked closer, readying to claim the victory.

His celebration was cut short as the masked individual knocked him down and landed another blow.

Bakugou sighed, he had been wanting a video worth his time. This was ridiculous, and the shitty camera quality made it ten times worse.

He got ready to close out of it and continue with his scrolling until he saw something that made him do a double-take.

Endeavor shot out a blast and the vigilante attempted to dodge, but the fire had somewhat managed to hit its target.

The person now had an injury on their waist, a pretty bad one too knowing how Endeavors quirk worked.

He scrolled back a few seconds, watching the clip over again.

The clip was rewinded three times until he was sure of where the attack had landed.

The injury was in the exact place where yours had been.

He clenched his fist as all the thoughts began to piece together.

The bandages he had seen around your waist just a few hours after Endeavor had been attacked. Your dismissive responses when he had asked about it. The number of times you had left in the middle of the night for 'patrol.'

All of it had been right in front of him and he had turned a blind eye, simply because he trusted you.

That trust had obviously been a mistake.
