(Here's a forewarning before the chapter: I'm not that well versed in writing characters such as Jill so forgive me If it's not that good)
No POV
We pick up where we last left off in the previous chapter with Y/n who was attending to his project, unaware of the slowly approaching threat from behind. While Y/n finished placing the barrels by the gate, he then moved onto the string and placed one end in the barrel and began to back up, making the piece longer and longer until he reached a meter length and then he knelt down and folded the piece he wanted to cut before something clicked in his mind
Y/n: "Right, I never grabbed something to cut, fuck. I should've kept that knife before disposing it"
Y/n then stood back up and was about to walk towards his mask and grab it but he froze on the spot when he looked ahead of himself at the barrels and saw that he was no longer alone.
Sitting on one of the barrels was nonother than Toko but something about her seemed off instead of her normal anxiety ridden demeanor she was a mixture of calm and giddy like a kid in a candy store with a smile that walked a fine line between being one of excitement or insanity
her irises had expand and become red, and she had an abnormally large tongue sticking out over a mouthful of sharp teeth.
And in one hand she held a pair of sharpened barber's scissors that glistened in the light above her while in her other hand, she held Y/n's own mask, somehow having slipped by him unnoticed and grabbed it
Upon noticing that Y/n was looking at her, Toko looked at him with that same smile never fading as she hopped off the barrel
Toko?: "Helloooo~ about time you noticed I was here! I was dying of boredom!"
Y/n: "...Toko? You seem...Different"
Hearing Y/n call that name, Toko couldn't help but laugh to herself as she shook her head in response and spoke to herself
Toko?: "Adorable AND funny?! Oh Jill You've really hit the jackpot this time!"
The person now claiming to be called Jill then began to walk towards Y/n while he took a step back, when she took another step forward, he did the opposite but before he could react, Jill then sprinted forward with a burst of surprising speed as she swept Y/n off his feet and onto the ground where she pinned him under her, looking at him with a crazed look in her eyes as she watched him struggle in her surprisingly tight grip
Jill: "Where do you think you're going huh? we've got a lot of catching up to do master!"
Y/n: "Why don't you go fuck yours-wait what did you just say?"
Jill: "You heard me! it's been a good while since we last saw each other huh?! So how have you been?! Did you miss me? Did you? did you? did you!?"
Y/n: "I've never met you before in my life"
Hearing that, instead of getting angry or upset, Jill then laughed even more as she let go of Y/n's arms and held her body and shivered in delight
Jill: "How cruel! After all we've been through, you still continue to deny knowing me"
As Jill sat there a giggling mess, Y/n was able to flip themselves over and had her pinned as she let out a small yelp in surprise at the sudden movement before looking up at Y/n with the same smile and a spark of excitement in her eyes
Jill: "Getting a little daring aren't we~ Not that I mind though~"
Y/n: "Wh-What? No!"
Grabbing his mask from the girl's hand, Y/n then stood up and put it back on as he started walking back towards the barrels while Jill then hopped up to her feet and started following him with a hop in her step
Jill: "Do you seriously not remember me master?"
Y/n: "No, I don't. and why do you keep calling me that? And why is it that you're calling yourself Jill, Toko?"
'Jill' then jumped up onto the barrels as the line shone on her like a spotlight as she stuck her arms out in a presenting manner and a cheerful smile on her face
Jill: "Allow me to introduce myself then, My this body you know is that of that boring and anxious wreck Toko Fukawa but me? I am The Ultimate Serial Killer Genocide Jack! But I think Jill is more fitting, I'm the alter ego made up of a mixture of her repressed emotions and her rough and neglectful home life, Tada!"
Jill then finished her introduction with some Jazz hands before jumping off with a playful giggle as she looked to Y/n who stood there, the only thing on his mask to show what he was currently feeling right now was 'O_O' before he then responded after a few seconds
Y/n: "...Ok. And how do the two of you switch between personalities? Is it random? Can you do it at will? Or is there a trigger that has to happen?"
Jill: "Well with shy nerd, it's just about anything that would knock her out, such as looking at blood of any kind, electric shocks, you know, shit like that!"
Y/n: "That's...good to know, now can you step away from that, that's really fragile and important"
Jill: "Alright then!"
Jill then hopped away from the barrels and made her way to Y/n's side as he knelt down and grabbed the string and looked to Jill who was looking at Y/n like a lovesick puppy before he then glanced down at the scissors in her hand
Y/n: "Hey Jill, mind cutting this for me?"
Jill: "Alright!"
With a blur of movement, the string was then cut at where the fold was and it fell to the ground
Y/n: "Thank you Jill"
Y/n then grabbed the roll of string and began walking back to the barrels while Jill stood there like a deer in headlights and a look of shock on her face before it turned to a blissful expression
Jill: "M-Master thanked me?! Oh this is such a joyous occasion!"
Y/n then placed one end of string in the second barrel and looped it around the first string before coming to the third barrel as he whistled out to Jill who then snapped out of her stupor and rushed over to Y/n and cut the next piece of string for him before he finished with:
Y/n: "Thank you Jill, good job, It was lucky you came here otherwise I'd have to go scouting for something sharp to cut the string ^_^"
Jill once again froze on the spot as her blissful expression returned once again with a goofy smile as she giggled to herself
Jill: "He praised me~ He said I did a good job~"
Y/n: "Now, I need to go look for something to light the fuse"
Jill: "I'LL GO!"
Jill suddenly shouted next to Y/n, startling him as he stared back at her for a few moments without a visible expression on his mask
Y/n: "...Ok...?"
With a giggle, Jill then turned around and began bounding down the hallway and disappearing around a corner, the only thing that could be heard were her maniacal giggles
Y/n: "I feel like I've made a big mistake just now"
Meanwhile In the Cafeteria, we get our sights on everyone who was still in there, Byakuya's nose had finally stopped bleeding but still refused to go near any of them right now as they just continued to think about what might be on the second floor before the door was nearly kicked off it's hinges by Jill, catching everyone's attention as they watched her walking into the cafeteria and into the kitchen, all of them noticing the crazy look in her eyes and the unnerving smile on her face
Byakuya: "Looks like the weirdo's finally lost it"
Makoto then got up from his seat and began walking towards the kitchen, hearing the sound of cupboards and drawers being opened and shut as he caught a glimpse of Jill (Who they thought was still Toko) rummaging through everything in search of something
Makoto: "Toko, how are you feeling?"
Toko stopped for a brief moment as she looked over her shoulder and at Makoto, instantly feeling a shiver run down his spine the moment he made eye contact with her
'Toko': "Oh I'm feeling absolutely euphoric right now~! but I can't deal with you right now, I'm busy!"
Right as she finished, she went back to searching through everything in the kitchen
Makoto: "W-What are you looking for?"
Hearing this question, Jill then sighed in frustration as she now glared at the Ultimate Lucky student and stabbed a pair of scissors into the marble countertop effortlessly cracking it and getting all the way down to the handle
Toko: "Leave. Now."
Makoto, getting the message then backtracked out of the kitchen and walked back to the table with the others who were all waiting to hear what happened
Kiyotaka: "Well, what's she doing in there?"
Makoto: "She said she's looking for something but when I asked her, she just-"
Toko: "Found it, I'm coming Master!"
They then saw 'Toko' Run out of the kitchen with what appeared to be a butane lighter in her hand and out the door, gathering everyone's attention
Aoi: "...Are we going to see what that's about?"
Celeste: "Oh I'm sure it's nothing, the stress from our situation is probably getting to the poor girl, I think it's best we leave her be for now-"
Celeste was cut off however, when they heard the very familiar synthetic voice call out
Wrench: "One really big fucking hole coming right up!"
Kiyotaka: "What does he mean by tha-"
Kiyotaka never got to finish that question as he got the answer in the form of a loud boom and the room shaking for a couple seconds causing some of the students to scream in fear and shock at what happened before Sakura, Kiyotaka, Makot, and Byakuya all stood up and rushed out of the cafeteria to see what the cause of that noise was when they were greeted with the sight of Y/n standing by the wall of the hallway that leads to the second floor stairs, an unconscious Toko/Jill next to Y/n and smoke and a blaring alarm coming from said hallway
Wrench: "Oh, hey guy! guess what?"
Kiyotaka: "Wrench, What. Did. You. Do?"
Y/n: "I got us access to the next floor!"
Makoto: "H-How though?!"
Y/n: "Improvised Explosives!"
Sakura: "You did what!?"
Y/n: "Yeah! I was getting frustrated with the security system locking me out every few seconds so I decided to do a more brute forced hack"
Byakuya: "Great, not only can he make guns, he's also a terrorist"
Y/n was about to retort but stopped when the sound of the school announcement system roared to life as Monokuma's angered voice came through
Monokuma: "Everyone. Gym. Now!"
And with that, the system went dead again as Y/n shrugged his shoulders and hoisted Toko's body over his shoulder and started walking towards the Gym as others started to pour out of the Cafeteria and couldn't help but look on in horrified interest at what just happened
Y/n: "Whelp, looks like it's time to go see what the plushy wants"
And that's this chapter done! I hope you all enjoyed reading it and hope you didn't mind the way I wrote Jill in this chapter, it's both been a while since I've seen any of the Danganronpa games and I've never really written someone like her before to my knowledge at least so I hope I did her justice.
