After Jessica told me about her little “slip up”. We decided to have a sleepover. Well, she decided. But I can’t believe she slept with him! Ugh. And to make me jealous? Jealous?! Why would FUCK would I care what or who he does?! Like really, the ONLY reason I’m so made is because it was Jessica…right? Or was it something else…
“Heather. Talk to me. Please.” Jessica broke the ten minute silence. I was almost happy she started talking. Almost.
“What?“ I hissed. I know she’s upset, but I’m still mad at her of course. I have every right to be pissed. She not only slept with Blake, -who I now have a legit reason for hating- but she also cheated on Rick. And it was going to kill him when he found out. Or maybe he would just kill Blake…
“I’m so sorry.” She whispered as we pulled in to my garage.
I turned the car off and turned to look at her. “Why are to telling me that? Huh? I’m not the one you cheated on! I’m not the one you lied to! I’m not the on-”
“Look Heather! You don’t think I feel bad?! I didn’t mean to! Okay!” she yelled back. Cutting me off.
“Oh don’t play the victim here! You knew exactly what you were doing!”
“It wasn’t my fault! It’s…It’s just something about him Heather. His eyes. His smile...” she trailed off, clearly thinking to herself.
“No excuse.”
“It’s like…” she looked at me and started giggling. “He’s not sexy. He IS sex.”
I raised my eyebrow, knowing what was coming next.
She playfully hit my shoulder. “Hey, remember when we where like that? When we could make guys fall in love just from a look?”
I smiled. “Of course. Those were the days…” I started thinking.
She put her head on my shoulder, “Then I met Rick and you met Matt. And we stopped being the little hoes we were.” she laughed. I faked a giggle so she couldn’t tell how his name affected me. “Then Matt-”
I cut her off, “Broke my heart.” I tried to hold back the tears.
She nodded. “Man, I can’t believe we stopped being those girls. The girls that everyone looked at. The girls everyone loved but hated. The girls everyone wanted to be. The girls who were-” she looked up at me with a smirk.
“Players.” we said together.
Jessica smiled. “Players that could take any male player down.”
And when she said that, I thought of the most evil plan ever. A plan so evil, only two people in the world could pull off. And those to people just happen to be me, and Jess.
I slapped Jessica’s forehead. “DUDE! Ohmygod! Ohmygod! Ohmygod!!!”
She looked at me with wide eyes. “What?!”
“I have the best plan ever! Get you ass out the car!” I pushed her off my shoulder and opened the car door.
I heard her mumble “This is how you treat your best friend?” She started laughing. “What’s the plan?” she asked as she closed her door.
I was already halfway to the door that lead to the house. I turned on my heels with an evil smile on my face. “Do you still have your 9th grade clothes?”
She already knew what I was talking about. Her face started to light up. “Oh hell yeah!” she ran up the stairs and we went into the house.

Sunday Morning.

“Have you talked to Rick?” I asked Jessica while we ate breakfast.
She put down her cup of Orange juice and shook her head. “No. Not yet. Why?”
I took a bite of bacon “He hasn’t called?”
“Nope.” she stabbed -and I mean stabbed- her eggs and put them into her mouth.
“That’s not like him…” I chewed my bacon slowly, deep in thought.
“I know. Normally he text bombs my phone.” she giggled.
“Don’t talk with your month full Jess.” My Mom said, throwing a towel at her head.
I swear I almost spit out my bacon at the face Jessica made.
“Sorry Mrs. C.” She giggled.

After breakfast, we went upstairs to find clothes for tomorrow. I’d already filled my Mom in on our evil plan. She was cool with it. Surprisingly.
I tossed Jessica her phone. “Call Rick.”
She looked at me, puzzled. “Why?”
“Because.” I sat down on the bed.
“Because?”
I looked at her. “How much does Rick love you?”
That puzzled look deepened. “A lot, I guess.”
I nodded. “Call him. Tell him how much you love him.”
She frowned. “Okay? Why?”
“Because, in the game we’re about to play, there are no boyfriend’s allowed. Call him.”

I looked deep in my closest trying to find some of my old clothes. Finally, I found a red and black puffy mini skirt. I wore that with 4 inch platforms and a black “dirty shirty” t-shirt I‘d cut up. It was very fitted now. Perfect. I took my hair down from the messy bun it was it. Shook it out and put a red and black plaid bow. I smiled at myself in the mirror before looking at Jessica.
She had on her tight black mini skit, 3 inch stilettos, my knee high hello kitty socks, and my ripped up pink t-shirt that said “dirty shirty”. Yeah, now I bet your wondering where we’re going? Get this, we’re going to school.

We pulled up to school and looked at each other worriedly. It’s been a while since we came to school dressed like this.
I looked at Jessica, “Are you ready?”
She smiled, “Are you?”
I winked at her, “You know it.”
She put on what she calls her hoe face. “Alright, let’s take a player down.”

We pushed the doors open to the school. The hallway was packed, but somehow everyone managed to get out of our way. I saw a kid named Kyle Parker look at me. He smiled, shaking his head. He knew exactly what we were doing. Pray he keeps he mouth shut.
When I got to my locker I pulled out my cell phone. Typed a text. And Looked at Jessica.
“Are you SURE you wanna do this, Jess?”
She looked at me. “Send it.” she smiled and started flirting with a guy across the hall. I shook my head. Same old Jessica.
My finger paused on the “send” button. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath and pressed the button.
I opened my eyes ten seconds later. The screen read “Message Sent.”
And so it begins.
