Stefania's POV
"Thankyou for dropping me off bambina" I said as I pressed a kiss to Danielle's lips out the front of the airport "No problem baby, I will see you in a few days" she said "I love you" I said pressing my lips against hers again "I love you too, but you need to go before you miss your flight" she said "okay, okay goodbye see you soon" I said "mhm one more kiss please" i said and I leant down and kissed her once more "Stefania go" she said laughing. I walked through the airport and got checked in went through security and made my way to the gate, I only had 10 minutes until I had to board so there was no time for me to go to the first class lounge "Now boarding first class passengers for flight F2H332" the flight attendant announced over the speaker. "Ahh Miss Spampinato how are you" Georgia the flight attendant said "Georgia I have told you to stop calling me that" I said laughing "sorry, Stefania where is Danielle" she said "uh she is at home with the puppies she will be with me next time" I said "ahh okay well take your seat and get prepared for takeoff I will see you soon" she said. "About to take off Bambina, I will message you when I land, I love you" I texted Danielle she replied almost instantly "Safe flight baby, I love you too" she said.
Danielle's POV
"Barrett thank you so much for doing this" I said after opening the front door for her "of course, does she have any idea" she asked "no she is on her way to Italy now my flight is tomorrow morning and she thinks I am going to see Stephanie" I said "I can't believe you are doing this for her" Barrett said "I couldn't wait any longer" I said. "Okay so there is plenty of food for the dogs in the laundry cupboard, I went shopping and bought all your favourite food and snacks so eat whatever you want. You can sleep in this bedroom and you can invite Brett over if you want up to you". "Okay do you want me to drive you to the airport in the morning" Barrett asked "yeah that would be great" I said. "I need to go back I will be back out in a bit" I said walking off into the bedroom.
The next Morning
"Danielle we need to leave are you ready" Barrett yelled from the front door "yeah I am coming" the blonde yelled back as she appeared out of her bedroom suitcase in hand "Has Stefania arrived already" Barrett asked "yeah about 5 hours ago she messaged me saying she was there and Gio picked her up" the blonde replied "Perfect and who is picking you up" Barrett asked "Gio is going to pick me up from the airport and take me to the hotel" the blonde replied.
Danielle's POV
"Are you nervous" Barrett asked "a little bit yeah, but more excited then anything" I replied as we were almost at the airport "okay we are here, let me know all the details and I will see you in a few days" she said leaning over to hug me "thanks again Barrett I owe you one" I said. Mr Spampinato got me a first class ticket to fly to Italy so I walked through check in and security before making my way to the gate I didn't have much time to go to the first class lounge so I just settled on waiting at the gate. I decided to quickly message Stefania and let her know I was about to board the plane obviously she thought I was flying to see my sister not flying to Italy to meet her. "Hi baby, just about to board my flight I will message you as soon as I can" I said "okay bambina safe flight" she replied "I love you so much" I said "I love you too" she responded and with that I made my way down the aisle of the plane and took my seat. "Danielle what are you doing" one of the flight attendants asked, I recognised him from when Stefania and I flew to Italy together "I am going to meet Stefania in Italy" I said smiling softly "you guys are the cutest, I have never seen her so happy you know" he said "well anyways let me know if you need anything, you already know that to do start getting ready for take off" he added "oh and it definitely won't be as good as a plane ride as the last time you caught a flight with us that's for sure" he said laughing giving me a quick wink before walking away.
Stefania's POV
"Gio why did Papa make me come all the way to Italy" I asked as we sat at our favourite cafe "I don't know Stefania he wouldn't tell me why" he said "it's weird he has never made my fly home for no reason" I said "he said it has something to do with work" I added "I have no idea, I thought work was going fine" he said "I don't know but I can't handle his problems at the moment, I just bought a house with Danielle and I was just made a series regular and I have a lot to do" I said "just hear him out Stefania it might be important" he said "when is Daniela getting home" I asked "I think she got home yesterday" he said "she messaged me about going out tomorrow with her" I said "sounds like fun, go see her first then have the meeting with papa" Gio said "I will, can you take me back to the hotel I need to sleep the flight in was terrible" I said "didn't have your hot blonde to distract you" he said laughing "oh how I wish she was with me" I said.
Danielle's POV
18 hours later and I landed in Italy and oh my god am I exhausted, Gio said he would pick me up from the airport and drop me off at the hotel, Stefania is with her dad for the afternoon so I don't need to worry about bumping into her. "Danielle I am outside in the pick up zone when you are ready" Gio said through text "just waiting for my bad see you shortly" I replied. "Danielle how are you" Gio said as I arrived at his car and he pulled me into a hug "I am good thank you how are you" I said as he took my bag from my hands and put it in the boot "I am very good, we should get a move on though before Stefania gets back to the hotel" he said opening the door for me. "How was she when she arrived" I asked "she was obviously annoyed at the sudden trip she had to make out here but I think she was okay" he said "mhm I felt so bad lying to her" I said "I should send her a message I haven't spoken to her in like 18 hours and she is going to get worried" I said. "Hi baby, I'm so sorry I haven't messaged I arrived safely my phone died and I fell asleep as soon as I got to my sisters" I sent her a quick text, 2 minutes later she responded "Bambina oh my I was so worried, just about to step into a meeting with papa I will call you later" she responded "okay, I love you", "I love you too Bambina".
Stefania's POV
We finished up the meeting pretty quickly apparently papa is in the middle of some deal for a new hotel and needed my help to close them which we did, then I just went back to the hotel and ordered some dinner when I got a phone call from my sister. "Ciao Daniela how are you" I said through the phone "Ciao Stefania I am good, do you want to come out with Vittoria and I tomorrow for a girls day she misses you" Daniela said through the phone "of course" I said "okay we will pick you up around 11" she asked "Si no worriers see you then". "Ciao Stefania" she said "Ciao Daniela" I said. I decided on an early room service dinner and having an early night but before I went to sleep I wanted to quickly FaceTime Danielle so I got my phone out and called her not long after her head popped up on the screen. "Hi Bambina how are you" I said "hi beautiful I'm good how are you" she replied "so tired just ate dinner and wanted to call you before I went to bed" I said "I miss you" I added "Stefania it has only been two days" she said a slight laugh in her voice "I know but we are never going this long without each other again" I said "mhm okay baby" she said "what are your plans for tomorrow" she asked "I am going out with Daniela and Vittoria to the shops" I said "okay baby well you look really tired so I am going to let you go to sleep, I love you and will see you in a few days" she said "okay bambina I love you too".
Danielle's POV
"Danielle how are you darling" Mr Spampinato said through the phone "well thank you and yourself" I said "good, are you all prepared for tomorrow" he asked "yes all good I will come to you in the morning with Gio then go and set up" I replied "no problem Danielle I will see you in the morning, get some sleep" he said and with that I hung up and got into bed for the night. i woke up the next day to the sound of my very annoying alarm filling the hotel room I rolled over and turned it off, it was now 9am I have to meet Stefania's father at 10:30 so Gio is picking me up at 10. I made myself a coffee before having a quick shower and getting dressed I settled on a pair of black denim jeans, white knitted jumper and a pair of white converses, I did my hair and put on a bit of makeup before getting all my things and making my way out of the hotel room and down the elevator to meet Gio in the car. Stefania got picked up from her sister at 9:30 so I knew I wasn't going to run into her in the lobby.
Stefania's POV
"Aunty Stefania can we get our nails done please" Vittoria asked "Si if you want Bella" I said "I want to get mine long, and white what about you" my niece asked me "mhm I think I'll get baby pink what do you think" I asked picking the colour at the nail shop "are you going to get them long" she asked "uhh no Bella" I said a small smirk on my face "why not I want you to get them long with me" she whined. "She can't have them long for work bambina" Daniela said but both of us knew the real reason I didn't want them long "isn't that right Stefania" My sister said "Si that's right" I said laughing slightly a cheeky smirk on my face. "I am going to ring Danielle quickly, I will be right back" I said as I walked out of the nail salon and called my girlfriend and it going straight to voice mail "I know she didn't just decline my call" I said getting annoyed so I tried calling her again and it went to voice mail once again so I decided to send her a text "Danielle why are you sending me to voicemail, are you okay" I asked as I anxiously waited a reply, she responded almost instantly "Sorry baby just at the shop with my sister are you okay" she said "Si fine talk to you later" I said turning my phone off and walking back into the salon. "Can we go see Nonna for her birthday" Vittoria asked "we can it has been a while since we went" I replied as we got into the car. 30 minutes later and we arrived at the Cemetery our Mama is buried at "get the flowers bambina" Daniela said to Vitoria "Okay mama" she said as she grabbed them and we made our way to her grave. My eyes caught sight of the back of someone standing at my mama's grave flowers in her hand balloons and rose pedals around "Can I help you" I yelled out as the girl turned around to face me.
