This day started in the most normal and simplistic way possible for humanity.
Like every day, most of the people had to get up early to go to work in order to survive in the system that the previous generations have built over the centuries by shedding enough blood to create an ocean in the image of the barbarism that can be displayed by the human being.
As usual the beauty, and the diversity of the "human" behavior and its emotions could be seen.
A lot of people started their working day with the tiredness of the day before, which was still felt on their faces. Despite everything, with a strong and positive mind, they were thinking about all the good things in life that could have happened to them to ease their mind, to feel better,so they could be ready to continue their lives, with all the difficulties that were waiting for them in the future, plus all the good and happy moments coming from time to time that human beings cherish with all their heart until their end.
But as our world is made of everything, good and bad things, for some people, like any other day, the lever of the sun had marked the pursuit of their daily lives with the support of people who love them, and with as much honesty as they could show (even if we all know that everyone makes mistakes, and that all our good values and principles can be put aside and be forgotten at several times sadly), while for other people, unfortunately, it was marking the continuation of their living nightmare, because of the pressure exerted by the others which became the source of a stress load. We can also talk about the lack of affection they were feeling on top of their loneliness, or even the mistreatment and the daily abuse which they had to go through, with the unjustified fear, and shame of being different from the others for example.
This day was not going to change anything about this, even if it would have been the best thing to do for these people.
At the same time, the "pride" of humanity had the chance to keep on living for the pleasure of no one, like any other day too. Rapists, killers, people that are capable of beating children, people that abuse their power and many more in the same category... They were still here, and this day was not going to change anything about this too.
Our world was far from being perfect with its beautiful and ugly sides, but at least, most of the people felt safe when they were at home, at school, at work, walking in the street or in a place they cherished... Unfortunately, it will no longer be the case soon.
Around 3:35 p.m world time, something unexpected happened...
All humans and animals on Earth, no matter where they were, passed out one after the other, in the street, at school, at work, at home.... no one was an exception.
This unprecedented incident caused our human society to stop completely for a while.
The world had never been so calm for several millennia. No one was awake to see it, but at that moment, an extraordinary vision was shown for the first and last time in the history of the Earth, and it could only be seen and represented in the eyes of Mother Nature, which alone was still awake and vibrant.
April 3rd 2020
At 8 a.m the next day, people started to wake up one after the other, trying to understand what had happened to all of them.
You can very well imagine that when you suddenly wake up in the street (something that's already strange), seeing other people in the same state as you, looking lost in their thoughts, there is more than enough to feel destabilized by the situation.
Some people tried to communicate with each other to understand what just happened, and very quickly, on social networks, the news that all of humanity was asleep for several hours had been confirmed. This information was widespread through different media all around the world, and also on television soon after the event (even on the radio), to reach as many people as possible.
After this shocking news, some countries decided to order people to return back home to analyze the situation, forbidding most people to stay outside, while some others took the decision to pretend that nothing had happened, and to continue their daily lives as if nothing much happened.
Obviously this did not happen without any incident. When the last stragglers had finally woke up, a bit later than the others, they were greeted by atrocities, just like the ones that witnessed the state of the world a bit earlier than them. Many accidents had taken place due to the fact that everyone fell asleep without any warning, and against their will, on the roads, in laboratories, in construction sites, in hospitals, and in many more places... The death toll only increased over the hours, it was estimated worldwide at 1,700,000 deaths at that point.
But despite this sad news, something weird, and a bit uplifting could be seen. In theory, many more people should have died because of this event, especially because of transport accidents (in cars, planes, boats...), and oddly, nobody died because of the factories and nuclear power plants that were abandoned without any control for hours, in full operation. It was something humanity could be happy about.
But later on, this could be explained by one of the next events that will happen that day.
We're talking about events that would change the balance of the world, its rules, our different lifestyles, and our perception of the world. All of these things at the same time, making it harder to adapt.
Some people at first, and then more and more started to feel bad, or weird about themselves. They had the impression that a new unknown feeling was spreading throughout their body.
It felt like a new and unknown energy was stimulating all of their cells. It was something that couldn't be explained by human standards, or through words we were used to.
Suddenly, as if it was by instinct, some of them got the feeling that they could use this new source of energy in order to achieve things outside of everything that the human being was able to achieve until that day.
That unknown, and new feeling somehow told them that they just got "blessed" with something that would only happens in novels. However, it wasn't the case anymore from now on.
April 3rd 2020, this DAY will forever mark history, because it became the day when human beings became able to use magic.
More and more people discovered that they possessed magic powers as in their wildest dreams. They were fascinated by this discovery, and by the infinite possibilities that it could give to humanity.
Obviously most people didn't knew how to control their powers yet, which were still in the seed state. They needed time to develop.
Every people that had manifested those "magical powers" were called and ordered to go to the nearest hospital to get a diagnostic. All the countries in the world were thinking about how they should handle this unprecedented situation as quickly as possible, before everything becomes uncontrollable for them, and mainly before they could observe people starting using this new source of power with bad intentions. Naturally most of the people were not having any bad thoughts, and were just amazed in a bad or a good way by what was happening since a day before.
Most of the public opinion was already leaning on the question about the powers that could have been born in certain people, magic powers that could massively accelerate the development of our society, and naturally on how mucu mankind could achieve by controlling their new found power. Sadly, they were only focusing on the positive sides, while the people in whom these powers were manifested tried to discover their new abilities, that could become a real danger for themselves.
The appearance of "magic" will bring its share of problems, and despair to the world. That's something that they would discover soon enough.
April 4th 2020
Since the events of the last day, most countries made an agreement.
People with minor powers such as creating small sparks or even producing pickings (don't judge people's powers please), and with non-offensive powers were allowed to return home.
On the other side, people who had manifested and demonstrated more dangerous and powerful powers such as the invocation of magical weapons, powers linked to the production of any material on a large scale, to the mastery of the elements, or unknown ones, plus the psychologically unstable people with them, had to stay in hospital under the supervision of soldiers of the army of each country for an indefinite period.
The governments around the world were already thinking of a way to integrate magic into our society by creating several rules and putting in place different devices and infrastructures to keep it under control, but obviously, they had different ideas on how to manage those things...
But at the same time, a new crisis broke out before they could even come to an agreement when it came to this.
People were trying the best they could to continue living as they always had, but around 10 a.m, many earthquakes were felt around the world, and all the police officers that were on patrol to monitor that nobody was using magic with ill intentions, advised people to take shelter in the nearest buildings and stores for their security.
This was far from an easy task due to various things that made the execution of this plan harder. Panic attacks, fear, stubbornness, were some of the things that made it harder.
Many clouds began to cover the sky, and the tremors became stronger and stronger.
When suddenly they stopped... And the world could start to observe strange shapes outside that were starting to appear one after the other, out of nowhere.
These forms transformed into misshapen monsters either with a humanoid, animal, or with an unknown and never seen appearance before.
They had varied sizes and musculature, but each of them had a charred midnight blue, dark green or dark purple skin, black eyes with a small bright red light in the center. Smoke was coming out of their mouths, and they had a hole of medium size where a heart should be found.
They didn't seem interested in the world around them at first, but when they started seeing humans, they started destroying everything in their ways, killing in the most atrocious ways the humans they found, men, women, and even children.
Nobody was safe. They were stronger and faster than all humans, the only thing to do was to hide and hope that none of the monsters would notice you, or to not be killed because the place you were hiding in was destroyed by them.
During the hours which followed, cries of pain and fear resounded in the whole world, and the streets and public places of the bigger cities who had thousands of people before the appearance of these demonic monsters were now completely covered with blood and body parts from a big amount of corpses, when the monsters hadn't destroyed them completely.
Everyone was in a total panic, and despite the mobilization and the deployment of all the armed forces of each country to protect its population, in order to kill all these monsters before they could wipe out the entirety of humanity.
Unluckily, it only repelled them for a moment because weapons had no effect on them (guns,cannons,riffles and more...).
This day appeared as the end of the world, and as the Last Judgment among religious people. Terror spread like the plague on a planetary scale, and everyone faced despair. Many people didn't even have the time to be traumatized by the abomination that was happening before their eyes, because they became the next ones that got killed soon after, within seconds.
Most people had one main thought in their mind, "WHY ?!" !
But their question will remain unanswered.
People's lives were disappearing as quickly as the time it took to blink once.
That day, death was over everyone's head, and patiently waited for the moment to make every human suffer as much as possible.
Because of this hell that was installed on Earth, the governments of the world had never been so united in order to be able to fight against this situation. They decided to take joint decisions as quickly as possible for survival, now that common enemies of the entire world had appeared.
They very quickly made the linked decision with the help of their armies and soldiers to bring together all the people who were still alive, in high-risk areas, or in any buildings with many floors, and move them to several makeshift camps in each cities of each country by requisitioning the strongest buildings that were not yet destroyed by these evil creatures.
After that, their plan was to launch missile strikes strong enough to touch most of the monsters after attracting them all together. The one that were in less open areas and where nobody was present, with those that were found in large numbers in big cities and more precisely in areas that had been evacuated. The task was pretty easy, when it came to attracting them, because they could finally see new humans to kill, now that they were finally out of their hiding places.
After carrying out this plan, they won't need to worry about the fact that many people could still be hiding behind rubbles, or in small stores.
They wouldn't need to worry about the people that still had the chance to be saved somehow in this slaughter anymore after that, and therefore they would be able to kill the "without hearts" while keeping their peace of mind.
Obviously, even with all the will of the world, this plan was going to cause new human losses due to the unpredictability, the number, and the strength of these monsters, but humanity had to fight back strongly.
It was better than doing nothing, because everyone knew that by only hiding, everyone would die soon enough if these creatures were not going to disappear.
Should we now get right into the action, from the point of view of some interesting people, and discover how they felt, where they were at that time, and what their apprehensions were about the execution of this last solution ?

Y/N: I'm still alive... My luck should reach its limits soon tho. What should I do before I die ?
Random Guy 1: Why is he talking alone ? Is he going crazy ..? Poor boy...
(Ahh that's right, I forgot that I was not alone, and that more than 600 people were here...)
Y/N: Sorry for being crazy, and above all, realistic ! I leave you the honor of continuing to dream, and to think that we will all get by.
Random Guy 2: It's people like him who should die rather, not people who still care about their lives... (he says whispering)
(You should speak louder, even if I heard that really well.)
Y/N: There are still more and more people coming, we'll have to start hugging each othet soon at this rate. This place became in a few tens of minutes a real banquet for these monsters. It's almost funny. (he said with a smirk)
???: You really want to sound like a freak, right ?
Y/N: Not at all. Given the number of people in the place, with all the noise it makes, if they are able to hear me, it's just that they want to listen to me just like you. I don't speak loud enough so that you may be able to say that I'm doing it on purpose.

With all the people who have gathered here, you should be able to find other young people, with fresh blood, and uncontrollable hormones. The opposite of me to make it simple.

Random Girl 1: Has this place become a gathering for crazy people ? They should be more concerned about the situation.
(In this place, I think I am at least in the top 10 of the people who reflect the most on our situation. You shouldn't judge people without knowing them... So just shut up please.)
Y/N: Not at all, I just wanted to annoy you after you bothered me while I was reflecting on myself, and my near future.
???: Really ? I should bother you for some more time in this case.
Y/N: At the point where we are, do as you wish.

I don't have the time to be emotional. I just need to think like I always do whatever the situation is, staying true to myself. I have to stay focused, and on the lookout to make the best choices and not regret anything. I don't have the time to be afraid for myself, or to be stressed. These things will only prevent me from thinking correctly.

???: You're welcome ! So... have you heard of the plan they are putting in place to try to save all of us ?
Y/N: YES.
???: And ?
Y/N: I think that with a miracle it could possibly work. Even if you annoy me a little bit too much, I can see that you are smart. I think you have also observed that the weapons do nothing to them, but also that some people who tried to debate against the weakest among them with their powers freshly obtained, were able to scratch them before dying.
???: You really talk about the death of people without any taboos.
Y/N: I'm just speaking the facts.
???: I know you had no bad intentions behind what you said, I just felt like pointing it out. And you're right, it seems that to kill these beasts it is necessary to use magic. We have to kill them with the same thing that made them appear. It's the only way to save humanity.
Y/N: Yes, but given the situation this is impossible. Nobody is able to control these powers yet, and we don't even know if there's enough people to deal with them. In addition, all the people who would be able to kill these monsters with a minimum of cooperation, by putting aside their fear of death, are all in the hospitals of the country. If they're lucky enough, they would only be able to kill a hundred of them at the risk of all their lives.
???: If they are not already dead.
Y/N: I think most of them are still alive, and the same reason explains why we are not all already dead.
These creatures don't seem to be very intelligent or even endowed with their own thoughts. They are only pushed by the desire to kill humans, they seem to live only for this reason alone. They don't seem capable of either smelling or hearing, that is why they start to attack and destroy everything around them only after seeing humans, if they couldn't see us, they would just roam in the streets, but it's too late now.
Also, we should not forget that we are still in a risk zone, it's only a matter of time before one of them finds himself inadvertently breaking through one of the walls of this camp m, and starts killing all of us after signaling to his friends that we are here. This event will repeat itself all over the world, and we will all die without having been able to do anything.

I was already surprised that the world leaders decided to save as many people as possible without sacrificing human lives on their own will to increase the chances of survival for others. Either way, it's not like they could do much, assuming that they are the only ones to survive, if 90 percent of the world's population died, I wish them good luck with rebuilding a civilized world without going out because of the inhumans.

IZ*ONE Manager: Hurry up, we have to evacuate the building as soon as possible ! Army soldiers are waiting for us !
Eunbi: Children hurry up, run if necessary, but please stay together !
Wonyoung: What will happen to us ..? I don't want to go out... I saw it on social medias, people talking about hundreds of people who died on the streets, I don't want to see that, or to become one of them... (she said with tears in her eyes)
Chaewon: We can't stay here any longer, hold my hand, we have to go, or we might have the same fate for real.
(Everyone is afraid of the situation, even me, I'm just hiding it. We don't need any more problems... I have to stay with the most affected members to reassure them as best I can. Even Eunbi unnie was trying to hold back from trembling. She's trying to keep herself calm to guide us, and help the managers. I must do my best to help her too.)
Eunbi: I hope that the other girls are doing well... We don't have the time to call them now... Chaewon, Wonyoung, Hitomi and Yuri, we're going to get away with it, okay ?
Hitomi: Yes...... (she said, starting to cry)
Chaewon: Don't cry Tomi-chan... Keep your tears for the moment when we will realize all of our dreams.
Yuri: She's right, we have to stay strong if we want to survive and get out of this situation.
Chaewon: Our manager said that a global plan had been put in place to save us. We must believe in the people who protect us.
(But why all of this is happening ? Why do all these monsters want to kill us ? Why must they be on the way to the pursuit of our happiness ?)

Soldier 1: We don't have much time left, hurry up to get into one of these buses, it will take you to a safer place !
Soldier 2: Don't panic, and everything will be fine ! Fighter planes are flying over this area, war tanks and more than 1000 soldiers are ready to cover you !
Soldier 3: I just got a call, twenty monsters are coming towards us at full speed !!!
Soldier 1: Everyone on the bus !!! We will try to occupy them as long as possible, we must protect our nation !
Eunbi: Everyone, let's go !!!

At that moment, all the people who were at the scene were in shock. This man had just killed these four monsters as if it was an easy task, after making lightning strike them by raising only one arm.
???: See, you should only care about yourself and these useless people you are trying to save.

???: No, I don't want to. I think you dreamed too much yesterday. I'm just here to have fun. Even if it turns out to be more annoying than I thought. ???: It's not my problem, I already said it. I AM just HERE To have fun, for once, something interesting happens in this world.

(The world is not as simple as you think, some people are cheered after killing, while others are not. Maybe magic will bring a little more logic to our world, and maybe, I'll be able to find someone who can understand me... It would be really funny if this person became my biggest enemy hahaha !)

5:45 p.m, it was finally the time. The last ray of hope for humanity was to be launched. Everyone was patiently waiting for the final verdict to be made. Will humanity survive this crisis ?
The answer was going to be given soon.
Millions of missiles flew over millions of heads in the direction of their targets. That day the sky was covered with smoke all over the world. More than 500,000 missiles had been launched.
After the impact, and the din caused by them, a silence has settled for several minutes. No one knew if the plan had worked, and a lot of people were holding their breaths.
When suddenly, shouts of anger could be heard echoed all over the world, after the missiles ones that were supposed to represent humanity's anger.
They were still alive... Now, people just had to wait for death to come, and get them sadly.
But that was not enough for the world. As in response to this act of rebellion against these monsters, magic castrophies had taken place in several places in the world.
In the South East of France, the earth split in two, to later give way to drought and death of any kind of nature in an area of several hundred kilometers around the earth's fracture. In South Korea a shock wave of a magical nature crossed the whole country, in Russia mountain chains were formed one after the other, in a certain region in Italy, the temperature fell below - 200 degrees which froze everything in its path, in Romania a black dusty cloud was formed, covering the sky, and tornadoes crossed the country. In the United States, half of the country was raised from several hundreds of meters above the other part, in China, volcanoes were formed everywhere, in several regions in Australia, nature had taken over and covered everything that humans had created. Some kinds of magic meteors fell from the sky, landed in the seas, and right into the oceans, and several tsunamis of medium ranges were formed because of the impacts.
In a few minutes, as many people died from these disasters as from the appearance of the monsters.
And speaking of these monsters, as if it still wasn't enough, in each country of the world, a monster the size of an entire city appeared.
These monsters were able to use magic too, each of them preparing themselves to destroy everything in their path, and to erase all traces of the human being on Earth.
Humans had lost, and all living things were about to die with them.
Their last hope was gone as quickly as the lives that had been lost that day.
But...............................................................
A miracle happened.
The monsters were disappearing one after the other, and the magic disasters had stopped all over the world.
After several minutes, the first people that came out of their hiding places could contemplate the fact that they were alive, but also that their world had been ravaged.
They were still crying for the people who had perished, and out of frustration at having been helpless during this whole day, but above all, they were happy that all of this was finally over.
But suddenly, everyone started to hear voices talking to them in their heads.
Time: 05:46 p.m
P.O.V: EVERY HUMANS IN THE WORLD
???: Good evening. We would like to introduce ourselves, and show our greetings to all of you.
???: I am the goddess of the West, Wyvaum.
???: I am the goddess of the East, Escertia.
???: I am the goddess of the South, Sureax.
???:I am the goddess of the North, Nijeer.
???: And finally I am the goddess of fate, Fanoy.
Sureax: We are the ones who made all your problems disappear, and who saved you.
Wyvaum: You are probably curious, and you must be wondering who we are ?
Nijeer: Without saying too much, we are the protective goddesses of this world, and therefore of all the living things in it.
Fanoy: We officially appeared at the same time as magic in this world, and after watching you, we decided to give you a chance to live.
Escertia: Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do about the events that have already happened, the dead will remain dead, the damages done will not go away either.
Wyvaum: You will have to continue to live with the memories of this day, which will surely remain forever as the most horrible day for humanity with its centuries of existence.
Fanoy: Right now, we are talking to all the humans that populate this Earth, making our voices resonate across the seas of magic from a place invisible to your eyes. This is the reason why none of you can see us, so stop looking for us in the sky like lost babies please.
Nijeer: With that said, we inform you that this is the first, and the last time that we will intervene directly to save all of you. In theory, this is not our role, or our mission.
Escertia: But we're not going to let you go back to your new "normal" life yet.
Sureax: Thanks to our kindness, you'll get a small present from us. We'll give you 5 weeks to organize and rebuild your society by fully introducing magic in it. At the end of this time, the monsters will reappear and you will have to defend yourself with magic, against magical creatures if you want to survive.
Fanoy: Also, don't worry too much. The first time was really special, the next time, they will not appear as numerous and at the same time, but they could be stronger.
Wyvaum: At last, we hope that you can follow the right path.
How will humanity react to this situation ? Will humans be able to unite as one to fight this new threat ? Under which face will the day of tomorrow appear ? And what does the future holds ?
Should we now go into the present and see where the world stands right now ?
