[Author's POV]

The fresh morning sunlight was coming out of the window of the room shining on the small yet cozy room.

A girl dressed in simple jeans and a top was going here and there packing her stuff for college, as it was her first day of college.

Coming downstairs, she informed her parents about her departure, but got no reply, like usual.

It was the thing that she was never able to understand why her parents were so cold towards her, unlike her little brother.

They never cared about her. It was the everyday thing, like she only lived there in the same house with them, living her own life while they lived their own lives.

She wanted to know the answers but, she was habitual now with all the things now.

Doing her part-time job for the past three years, she completely lives her life, living under the same roof as them.

Not being a social person, she didn't make any friends on the first day of college.

As the shift at her part-time job got finished, she returned home by 8. As usual, her parents didn't acknowledge her presence and continued with their movie.

Sara couldn't help but get upset with the everyday thing now. Not saying anything else, she got freshed and ate her dinner.

Just in half-hour, while she was studying she heard her parents calling her from downstairs.

Well, it felt weird to her at first as it was a new thing that her parents would have any work with her.

"Sara!" She hurriedly came downstairs hoping to hear something good.

However, coming downstairs, a frown came on her face, seeing an unfamiliar man sitting there on the sofa like a king.

Well, at first he looked powerful to her also. He had a dangerous aura with him that made her nervous.

"You called me?" Sara asked her parents hoping for something good, trying to ignore the scary man sitting there.

"Sara, meet Mr. Keith Dankworth." Her father introduced her to the man sitting there, the man named Keith Dankworth looked at her from top to bottom.

"Hello." Sara acknowledged him timidly getting nervous by the hard gaze of Keith.

"Great one." Keith only spoke that word making her confused as she didn't understand his words

"Sara, you will be living in their house from now on. Pack your stuff and go with him." Her father's words shocked her to the core. Of course, she would when her father simply told her to live with some unfamiliar man.

"Why..?" Sara asked back shocked yet unwillingly.

"Because I am telling you... Now don't ask any questions and go with him." Her father snapped at her loudly making her startled.

Well, it was the first time her father was shouting at her. They were just cold but, today they were angry at her. But why?

Not having any choice, she came back to her room and packed her stuff, and came down.

Keith ordered her to come with him. She was still wondering why she has to go with the scary yet unknown man. And why her parents were the ones sending her there.

"Let's go, girl." Keith told her coldly snapping her out of her thoughts.

"Yeah." Saying that she followed him. However, before sitting in the car, she stopped and turned toward Keith.

"Excuse me, sir..." She called him catching his attention..

"Yes?" His voice was still holding the coldness.

"Can I take one minute to talk with my parents..?" She asked him hoping for him to say yes.

"Okay. Only one minute." He said still with a cold tone.

"Thank you..." Thanking him, she came to her parents.

"Now, what..?" Her father told her irritatedly making her upset.

"Just one question... Have you ever loved me..?" She asked them softly still with pain inside her heart to which her father sighed.

"The answer is no. Now go and never come back." Her mother said without any emotion in her voice.

Her words directly sting her heart. Her tears had started to fill in her eyes, but she stopped them from falling.

The drive was long and silent as Sara was sitting in front of Keith in the big and expensive limo.

"If you want to ask any question you can ask now, the drive is long. So ask." Keith told her taking her out of her upsetting thoughts. She wiped her few tears, as she had some questions to ask him.

"Where will I be staying..?" She asked the most basic question. While going with some unknown man she must know where she will stay.

"At one of my mansions." Keith's reply was short and straight yet cold. He wasn't looking at her but outside the window.

"And where is it...?" She asked again.

"Far away from your city." The again short reply from him.

"What is-" She was going to ask him the reason behind all these things, but he cut her words in between.

"Now my question." He told her directly looking into her eyes. His eyes were holding a hard emotion, which scared her a little.

"O-Okay..." Her words also got broken seeing his scary eyes.

"How much pain you can bear?" This was his question which confused her. Of course, who asks this kind of question?

"Answer." His voice made her come out of her thoughts.

"It depends on what type of pain it is. Mental pain or physical pain." She replied after thinking. But still wondered why he asked this kind of thing.

"Hmm." In reply, she just got hummed reply from him.

"Can I ask something?" She asked him.

"Yes." Again a short cold answer.

"Will I be living there alone.?" She asked him.

"No. My six nephews will also be there." Keith answered not looking at her at all.

"And... what about my study and college..?" She asked remembering about it.

"No worries, you will be studying in the same college where my nephews are studying. Your care will be taken there." His reply again made a question pop into her mind.

"What's the reason for this? Why are you taking me there?" She asked the most important question that she wanted to know till now.

"Your parents don't care about you. So, I'm taking care of you." He replied which didn't give her a satisfying answer

"But why? I don't even know you." She reasoned.

"You'll see that. Now sit quietly." His voice with coldness again scared her. It somewhere told her that he doesn't want to hear any more questions from her.

He was already scaring her, so she did as he told her. Staying silent she simply shuffled through her phone the whole drive.

After 1-2 hours, the car took a break. Coming outside the car, Sara looked at the place where she was brought.

Her eyes widened at the mansion in front of her. She was now sure that this man is very rich. Like billionaire or something.

"This is the place where you'll be staying." Keith informed her as his gaze was fixed on the mansion, as Sara looked back and forth between the large mansion and Keith.

If she says honestly, looking at the mansion, her heart was racing in a weird rhythm. She never felt like this before.

It made her question if she should go inside or leave from here.

"Your nephews will also be here, right?" She asked Keith trying to ignore the abnormal racing of her heart.

"Right." Giving her a short reply Keith turned to the man who was standing there looking like a guard.

"Escort her to the door." Keith ordered the man, who instantly obeyed replying with an okay.

"Don't you stay here?" Sara asked him hearing his words, which felt as if he was just here to drop her off at this unknown place.

"No, I live at my own mansion, this house is for my nephews." Keith replied to her and then turned around. That man opened the door of the car for him to sit.

"Miss, this way." That man took her out of her thoughts. Nodding at him she made her way to the door of the mansion, while, still looking at the car till it disappeared from her sight.

Stopping at the stairs of the main door, that man left her there. She clutched her top on her chest feeling the abnormal racing of her heartbeat.

With each step she took near the mansion, her heart raced at an abnormal speed. She can't even name the feeling she was feeling right now. Bad or good?

Coming near the door, she rang the bell. She took a step back flinching because of the loud echo that rang in the silent place due to the bell.

Holding her purse and bag, she stood there waiting for the door to open. She was again going to ring the bell, after a minute of waiting but getting no response, but then the door got opened showing a pretty girl.

"Hello miss, how may I help you?" That girl asked in a polite tone.

"Umm... I am Sara. I was told that I will be living here." Sara told her smiling softly, making the girl confused until another girl came and told something to that girl in the ear.

"Okay, now I know. Welcome, Miss Sara." That girl opened the door for her with a smile.

Sara smiled at her in return entering the mansion. However, she halted in her step, feeling a sudden skip of beat in her heart.

What is this feeling?

Sara was not getting the answers to her question. When that other girl was going to take her bag, she stopped her.

"Ohh, no, no... It's okay. I'll take it." She politely refused.

"Okay." That girl smiled in return nodding.

"Follow me, miss." The other girl told her, but what Sara sensed was a worried tone of her.

"Can I know your names?" Sara asked them politely.

"My name is Maira." The girl who opened the door for her introduced herself to her.

"I'm Lia." Another girl followed her and introduced herself.

"Nice to meet you." Sara softly told them getting the same type of reply.

"Us too." They both replied in the union.

However, she was sensing something weird in them. While following them, she saw a guy laying on the sofa.

"Who is he?" Out of curiosity, that question came out of her lips.

"Ohh, he is Master Alvin." Maira answered her.

"Master?" Confused by her, Sara asked her back.

"We are maids here and they are our masters." Lia informed her, making her nod.

"Okay." Saying that Sara was again going to follow them but then she noticed something about that guy which stopped her.

"Umm, wait a second." She said to the maids, stopping them in their tracks.

Sara then came to that guy and slowly brought her fingers to his nose to check something. Sensing the weird thing, she got sensed.

"Oh my god! He is not breathing." Unknowingly she shouted. The next second she put her head on that guy's chest to check his heartbeats but found nothing.

"Miss-" Maira tried to say something but Sara cut her words.

"We should call the doctor. He needs help." Sara said to them panicking worried about that guy. His body was cold as ice.

"No miss-" Before Lia could say anything, Sara was pulled down on someone's chest by holding her wrist.

"Aren't you too loud human...?" Sara looked up at the man whose complaint she heard just now.

Her eyes directly met with his giving her a familiarly foreign feeling in her heart. That guy slowly sat up on the sofa with her on his lap.

She broke eye contact finding herself in an embarrassing position with a guy and tried to stand up but she didn't get the chance as he soon switched their position and now she was the one laying on the sofa with him hovering over her.

"W-What are you doing?" Shocked by his sudden move, she asked him.

"Tasting you.." Alvin replied to her smirking at her, leaning down towards her neck making her struggle under his hold.

"S-Stop.." She tried to stop him but wasn't able to move him away from herself, but then...

"Alvin, stop." Another voice made Alvin stop, making her look at the person who came there stopping Alvin.

There stood a man looking the same age as Alvin with his hands in his pockets and an ice-cold look on his face.

"Raimon..." Sara heard Alvin mutter something in her ear before backing away from her, giving her a chance to stand up.

"What were you doing, Alvin..?" That Raimon guy asked Alvin in a strict cold voice as Alvin gave him a boring look.

"I was going to taste her until you came." Alvin replied arrogantly.

"Alvin, behave properly with guests." Raimon instructed him before turning to Sara who was still processing all the unfamiliar happenings with her.

"Who are you?" It felt like snapping more than a question to her.

"I'm Sara." Sara replied without looking into his cold eyes which were scaring her.

"Raimon and he' Alvin." His introduction was also cold.

"Hello." Forcing a smile on her face, Sara gritted them.

"Hi, strawberry..." Alvin commented smirking making her confuse, by his words.

Did he call me 'Strawberry'?

"Strawberry?" She asked him, making him smirk more.

"Yes, you smelled like sweet strawberry so I gave you this name, miss Sara." He said with a smirk emphasizing the word 'miss Sara'.

"Shut up, Alvin. Your reason to be here, Sara?" Raimon asked Sara looking her in eyes, while she struggled to keep contact with him.

"I was told that I will be living here. Mr. Keith Dankworth... he dropped me here." Sara told them, while Raimon gazed at her coldly and deeply.

"Maira." Raimon's eyes were still fixed on Sara as he called Maira, who was already there.

"Y-Yes, master?" She replied bowing to him and showing respect.

"Take her stuff to the room and organize it. Lia, escort her to the living room. I'll come there and introduce everyone to her." He ordered them in a cold tone and went away.

"Yes, master." Both of them obeyed.

------------------

Now, Sara was sitting in the living room, as Alvin was sitting on the sofa beside hers, staring at her with a weird gaze, making her more uncomfortable.

"So, I have confirmed that you'll be living here." Raimon broke the silence in the room with his cold tone.

"Okay." Sara nodded, yet she felt as if something was not right. Something weird.

"Great, now I'll have many chances to taste you, strawberry." Alvin spoke smiling at her, but somewhere it scared her.

"Can you be a little quiet, Alvin?" Hearing someone speaking from behind, Sara turned her face to look behind to see a guy lying on the sofa with headphones in his ears.

"Increase your volume, Sean. Don't stop me." Alvin replied frustratedly and then his eyes were back on Sara.

"Well, you are really beautiful, miss..." Flinching at the sudden close voice in her ear, Sara turned and saw a guy sitting there beside her.

How could I didn't realize that he came here and how fast?

His sudden appearance and his proximity to her made her back away from him only to feel someone behind her, too.

Turning around she saw another guy sitting beside her. She felt very uncomfortable sitting between two unknown guys.

"And your scent is also so... sweet..." The guy sitting on her right side spoke taking a deep breath as his eyes stared into her. She uncomfortably moved on her seat being stiff.

"Leon and Kevin, Stop it." Raimon snapped at them making them look at him with a slight smile and again their eyes got fixed on the new girl who was sitting beside them uncomfortably.

They both smiled at each other seeing her getting scared even before they show their true colours.

"Oh, big brother, just let us have some fun with another new guest." Leon said smiling gazing at Sara, who didn't even dare to look at him.

"Yeah, she is too sweet by her scent..." Kevin spoke as all of their eyes were fixed on the petite girl sitting in the hall uncomfortably. They felt as if she won't be able to even look into their eyes.

"What is happening here?" Then, there come another person who couldn't help but look at the girl sitting between his two brothers, looking at him curiously.

Sara couldn't help but wonder how that guy was able to enter the room without her knowing.

"Hey, Simmy.." Leon teased him again knowing the exact reaction.

A crashing sound boomed in the hall making Sara flinch at Simon's sudden punch on the big table, with broke into pieces.

"SHUT UP!! It's Simon. How many times do I have to tell you don't call me that!!" Simon's loud roar scared Sara more. His first impression on her was totally violent one, she must say.

"I can't help Simmy."Leon only chuckled, followed by Kevin as this was a normal thing between brothers.

"Shut up, all of you. I called you here to introduce you to our new guest." Raimon's cold tone made everyone silent.

"Sara." Raimon called startling her a little.

"Y-Yes..." Sara gave him her attention.

"So, I'll start with the eldest brother, Sean Dankworth. " Raimon pointed to the guy laying on the sofa listening to music. As Sara looked at Sean, she flinched seeing how his deep ocean-blue eyes were already staring at her.

"I'm the second brother, Raimon Dankworth." Raimon then introduced himself, then turned to the third one.

"Alvin Dankworth is the third one." As Sara's eyes came on Alvin, he winked at her making her instantly look away.

"Leon Dankworth is Forth one." Raimon introduced the guys sitting beside her, and she just gave him a glance.

"Simon Dankworth is the fifth one." Sara this time didn't even dare to look at the violent man. She even decided to keep her distance from him.

"And last and the youngest one is Kevin Dankworth. We are all brothers. Keith Dankworth who brought you here is our uncle. I assume that he told you on the drive here." Raimon lastly finished the introduction.

"Yes, he did." Sara replied to him calmly, but then she wanted to know why she was brought here.

"I am really thirsty." Before Sara could say, Leon interrupted in between and then his eyes got fixed on her.

"Can I have a taste right now?" Leon spoke smirking closing the distance between them, making her back away as he was getting into her comfortable space.

But, then she felt someone holding her shoulder, and with that, she felt a cold breath on her shoulder. She instantly stood up not being able to handle the situation they were putting her into.

"W-What are you doing..?" She asked them scared a little, as they smirked at her.

"Tasting you." Leon replied with a smirk which was not good at all.

"W-What do you mean?" She asked him taking a step back away from them.

"Don't you know the reason why you are brought here... strawberry..." Hearing Alvin's voice from behind, she turned around only to meet with the glowing blood-red eyes on his.

Her eyes widened in shock seeing his abnormal eyes and an evil smirk. His looks were not looking less than a devil.

"Y-Yours e-eyes..?" She shuttered in fear taking more steps back. Her eyes wandered to all the other brothers to see their eyes also glowing red.

"W-What are y-you a-all..?" The fear was clear in her tone and broken words, making Alvin smile showing his two sharp teeth.

Are they fangs?

"V-Vampires..?" Only this word comes out from her.

Her heart was hammering against her chest, in fear. Her mind was in a total mess being surrounded by these unknown monsters.

She was shivering from head to toe in her fear. Soon, her vision was getting blurred, and lastly, she only saw darkness around her and a cold embrace close to her...
