in the car Caroline calls me
"Where are you?" I ask "did you make it to that thing with your dads boyfriends daughter?"
Caroline groans "storm washed out Route five. Now I'm detoured on some random backwoods path to hell"
I have to laugh at that "Maybe you shouldn't be talking to me while driving"
"I know" she admits "I need one of those little Bluetooth thingies"
"Or...." I start "I could just get you a new car where your phone hook to it"
Caroline groans "You are not buying me a new car before you get yourself one"
my nose scrunches "so the requirement to me buying you a car is that I have to get one for myself as well?" I chuckle "done. On the backroad thing just turn around. Call me if you need help getting out...I'll snag Damon's car to come get you"
"Okay" Caroline whispers
"And you say I'm whipped" Damon mutters under his breath so only I could hear it
if only you knew the truth
when we get there Alaric gets in and then opens the door to see the old lady
"Oh, I'm sorry" the lady says "They're not allowed in the house"
"I know that" Saltz says "But you've gotta make an exception"
"Just push her out here" I say "come on man think"
he does just that
I grab her "Is anyone set to inherit the house after you die?"
"no" she answers
"good" Damon says before snapping her neck
we enter the house
"You were supposed to compel her" Saltz says
"It doesn't work that way..." Damon says
well...I could of but...
"she is human" Saltz argues
"and we are not" I growl cutting him off "get out of here and take the damn body"
Damon and I successfully sneak down to where Stefan is being held
when I go to kill the extra guy Stefan makes a huge fuss so I leave him
"Whatever" Damon says "Let's get you down"
"There's vervain on the ropes" Stefan tells
I huff pulling the ropes making him fall groaning
"Come on" I whisper
"Wait" Stefan says then pulls the stakes out of the other ones legs
Damon and I pull Stefan out in the hall
I hear people start coming down the stairs
turning to Damon I say "Take Stefan to the car and leave"
"What about you" Damon whisper yells at me
"Don't worry about me" I say "They don't call me the Ripper for nothing you know"
he finally nods taking Stefan out the back way
going up the stairs I break necks left and right
until I get to the living room where Frederick and a couple others are "Hello"
they jump turning to me
one tries to rush me only to get his heart ripped out
vampires come out of no where and start coming at me
the door opens
"Stop" Pearl orders "What's going on here? What did you do?" she asks me like she's fucking older then me
"Me?" I ask "Your tomb vampires tortured my little brother all day long"
"Trust me" Pearl says "The parties responsible for this will be dealt with"
I approach her "You better figure this out or I might just have to take my anger out on your sweet little daughter" I look at Anna "She's cute.....I wouldn't mind breaking her like I broke Katherine"
Pearl gulps "Of course, I'll handle it"
I walk out the door
I find Damon and Saltz at the bar
"We made a fab team" I say sitting in the middle of them "It was fun"
"We were badass" Damon agrees
Saltz punches him and then leaves
"happens" Damon groans

Damon and I enter Stefan's room where he's blaring very loud music from the 80s
we both have glasses of blood in our hands
"Could you turn it up a little bit?" Damon teases "It's not annoying yet"
"Sorry" Stefan mutters
I turn off the music "When you coming back to school? Elena misses you"
"Soon" Stefan answers
he continues doing push-ups
I sit on his bed taking a drink of my blood
"Oh come on" Damon groans "Just drink already. Come on, this self-detox is not natural. Skule doesn't do this" he sets his glass next to Damon
"Get that away from me" Stefan instructs "Skule is a ripper because he likes being a ripper"
"It wasn't always that way" I tell "There was a time where I couldn't control it...but now" I lean down to his ear "They have these things called blood bags that make it easy for rippers like us to live"
Damon huffs sitting beside me on his bed "How long did it take you to wean yourself off it the last time?"
Stefan continues doing push-ups
my 'older' brother and I make eye contact "That is not good"
"I'm fine" Stefan insists "It jut take a little bit of time"
I get off the bed "Well...good luck with this. I have to meet Caroline"

Caroline is making me go to the 150th founder's day anniversary kick-off party
"Oh god!" Stefan groans as we approach the founders' hall "I shouldn't be here"
"Breath" I instruct "We have to come we are the founding families"
"It would be rude to skip" Damon adds
"I really liked you two a whole lot better when you two hated everyone" Stefan growls
I chuckle "Everyone but Caroline"
"I still do but they love me" Damon chirps
we both look at Stefan
"How are you feeling?" Damon asks
"I'm good, I'm fine" Stefan insists
I hum
I know he's not
"If you feel like eating everyone just come find me" I tell "Now, I have to go find Caroline before she kills me"

about two hours after I've been there when Caroline goes to the bathroom a man approaches me
"Skule Mikaelson" he says
that causes me to turn at him sharply "It's been Skule Salvatore for about hundred and fifty years now"
"You're not going to deny it" he asks
"Don't feel the need too" I hum "No one knows who the Mikaelson's are here anyway....who are you anyway?"
"Apologies" he says "John Gilbert"
"Oh" comes out "the annoying uncle?"
he stares at me "You should stay away from Elena"
"Don't worry pal" I start "I plan to....she's bad news. Doppelgangers you know" I see his ugly ring "See you got one of those god awful Gilbert rings as well....tell me how does Saltz over there have one?"
he doesn't answer
"Great chat" I say as Caroline comes out of the bathroom "Just remember if you ever try to come blackmail me again I have absolutely no problem with eliminating your whole family right after I slip that ugly looking ring off your finger"
Caroline makes it over "Mr. Gilbert...I see you've met my boyfriend Skule Salvatore. He's related to the original family of Salvatore's"
"Yes" I hum "You could say I know the history like I lived through it"
