Preparing and surprises!
All the maids of the Emerald Palace are in a cluster to prepare the blonde princess without letting her know that it's her debutante. Since she knows it won't be happening for another year.
The rest of the empire is busy preparing gifts, decorations and etc.
"Lily...?"
Athanasia asked her.
"What's happening?"
Athanasia asked again still feeling drowsy after waking up early in the morning. Lilian can't help but giggle for a bit.
"There's a... visitor... and they're arriving today." Lilian frantically answered.
"How come I didn't know?" She asked once more, but feeling a bit more awake now.
"It's an unexpected visit, even His Highness didn't know."
Lilian answered before rushing the princess to her bathroom, not wanting to let her ask more questions.
Lilian York didn't know how much her words are important, not knowing what's about to come.
Meanwhile, Jennette didn't sleep a wink the night before, her mind's filled with thoughts on how she can enter Athanasia's debutante.
And once morning arrived, she called for a servant and ordered her to help the brunette to dress up.
'Who can be my escort? Maybe I'll just sneak in...? Yeah, I'll do that. Why do I need to sneak into a debutante? Oh, right. Father had a strict invitation list only.'
Jennette felt furious about that. First, she didn't receive an invitation. And Second, she wasn't even required to come.
But she can't blame the blonde princess, since Jennette knew that the girl didn't even know she's having one today.
Once she got dressed, she dismissed the maid and sat in her vanity, when she looked at herself in the mirror, she felt horrified.
Emerald-coloured eyes are staring into her soul.
"W-what..."
She couldn't even speak a whole sentence. She just sat there and stared at the mirror, until someone appeared behind her. But when she moved her body to look behind there was no one there, looking back at the mirror the person is more close than before.
It was a woman, but She couldn't see her face since she has a cloak on.
"W-who a-are you?"
She nervously asks.
"Is that how you talk to your... mother?"
The woman said before lowering down her cloak's hood. The woman has shoulder-length wavy brown hair and has bangs. She also has a beauty mark right underneath the left side of her bottom lip, and a pair of bright emerald-green coloured eyes.
"Why are you so shocked? We look alike, my dear!"
The woman said before she placed both of her hands on Jennette's shoulders.
"W-who are you?! H-how d-did you get i-in?!"
"As I said, I am your mother. Penelope, and how I got in? You don't need to know that."
Penelope leaned into her side and smiled at her.
"Make sure to destroy that wench's party. Are you just going to let her have fun... after ruining yours?"
Jennette couldn't function well. She was still shocked that a woman who claimed to be her mother appeared in her bedroom.
"I'll leave it to you how you'll do it. I'll be back soon, my dear. Have fun!"
When Jennette blinked the woman was gone. She looked behind her again and as the same as earlier, there was no one there.
"W-what... what happened?!"
She mumbled still confused if the woman was telling the truth or not.
'Penelope. I need to find out who you really are. And if you are my mother...'
