"Have a seat Sheamus." Brian Quin ordered as a fairly well built Irishmen walked into his office. Sheamus watched Mr. Quin with caution as he sat down. Something about the situation was off, something was wrong. "How long have you been working for me again? I can't quite remember." Mr. Quin went on.

"Over ten years now, Sir." Shemus told him.

"Mmm.." Mr. Quinn thought out loud. "That's a long time, huh?"

"I believe so, Sir." Sheamus assured him.

"You are one of my most trusted and loyal men. I've always valued your skills, Sheamus.." Mr. Quinn said as he walked around his desk.

"Thank you, Sir." Sheamus commented as he continued to be skeptical of the situation.

Mr. Quinn stared are Sheamus for a moment, wondering if he knew what was going on.

"As you can probably imagine, I was surprised to find that you've been working with the Garda National Protective Services." Mr. Quin finally revealed.

Sheamus closed his eyes in dismay when he realized he had been found out. Mr. Quin casually loaded his gun, knowing that Sheamus was unarmed.

"You don't have to do this.." Sheamus tried to plead with him.

"Of course I do." Mr. Quin told Sheamus as he pointed the gun at him.

In that moment, Sheamus's life flashed before his eyes. Everything he had done up until this point was for nothing. His life was over and in just a matter of moments, Mr. Quin and his men would make it look as if he had never existed in the first place.

"I have a fami-." Sheamus began to cry out before Mr. Quin pulled the trigger.

A bullet hit Sheamus between the eyes and in only one second he was dead. Mr. Quin watched Sheamus's dead body for a moment, trying his best to remember that this was just business. Even though Sheamus had worked for him longer than anyone. He was like a son to him. But at the end of the day, Mr. Quin knew that feelings were for the weak. He could not afford to care about anyone but himself with the exception of his daughter.

"Flight attendants prepare for landing." The pilot announced over the intercom.

Colby Lopez looked out the window of the plane to see the city of Dublin underneath him. It was his first time flying anywhere, let alone overseas. He'd barely every been out of Iowa until he began this trip to Ireland. He had spent his entire savings on this trip, leaving everyone back home to think he was crazy. But for Colby, this was his chance to see the world. He didn't want be just another kid from the mid-west that gets stuck in his hometown for the rest of his life.

"Ladies and gentlemen we will be landing shortly in Dublin, Ireland. Current time is 10:42am and the weather is nice and sunny with a nice cool temperature of sixty seven.

Colby gripped tightly onto his seat as the plane hit the ground for landing.

Driving through Dublin was a black Cadillac, owned by Mr. Quin himself.

"How are you doing today Ms. Quin?" The driver asked.

Rebecca Quin looked at the driver in the rear view mirror for a moment, knowing that he didn't really care how she was doing. Her dark blonde hair was curled and put into a pony tail while she wore a classy, white dress.

"I'm doing really well, Heyman. Thank you for asking." Rebecca said nicely.

She looked out of the car window at the people walking through the streets. Everyone looked so simple. They seemed free in a way. She wanted that. She wanted freedom.

"Only five minutes out, Ms. Quin." The driver, Heyman, told her.

Rebecca forced out another polite smile, pretending she was actually happy with what was about to happen.

At Dublin Airport, Colby was waiting for his luggage at baggage claim. It seemed that everyone else from the flight had already gotten their luggage. Of course, Colby's was the last to come around. This being his first time in an airport, he wasn't exactly sure if he was in the right place. When he finally saw his luggage, he pulled them from the conveyor belt.

Colby made his way outside but finding his ride seemed to be even more complicated. There was a like of nearly twenty cars lined up outside the airport. He tried opening the Uber app on the phone but he had no idea what he was looking for.

"Colby?" A man asked as he rolled down his car window.

"Uh.. Yeah?" Colby asked in complete confusion. He'd heard that the world was small but this is the last place he expected to run into a fellow Iowan. "Do I know you?

"You call for Uber?" The man with a heavy Irish accent asked.

"Oh right! Yes, Uber." Colby said.

The man go out of the car and began helping Colby get his luggage into the trunk.

"I was kind of confused there." Colby tried to make conversation.

His Uber driver didn't seem too interested in talking.

"How did you know it was me?" Colby asked.

"You have photo on app." The Uber driver said with a bit of judgement before getting in the car.

Colby looked down at his phone, not realizing he had taken a photo for the app. The photo was of Colby looking at his phone camera with a deep thinking face, clearing not realizing he was taking a photo at the time.

"Shit." Colby mused to himself as he got in the car.

Just a few miles away, Rebecca Quin's car had arrived at The Westbury Hotel.

"Best of luck, ma'am." Her driver, Heyman said as she got out of the car.

Rebecca looked at the hotel for a moment with anxiety and took a deep breath. Heyman drove off, leaving her to herself. She began walking into the hotel, hoping to get a drink before meeting someone.

"Rebecca." Drew McIntyre said as he approached her.

With her eyes stuck on the bar, Rebecca reluctantly let out a friendly smile.

"You must be Drew." Rebecca said as she offered out her hand.

Drew shook her hand and lead the way over to their table in the hotel restaurant.

"Your father speaks very highly of you." Drew said as he pulled her chair out for her.

"Same for you.. I've heard many great things about you Drew." Rebecca tried her hardest to continue the charade.

Drew smiled at Rebecca for a moment, admiring her beauty.

"I brought this non-disclosure agreement for you to sign." Drew began to say as he handed her a document with a pen.

Rebecca looked down at the papers in front of her with disgust.

"I figured if today goes well we can meet back up once more to agree upon a date at which we could plan the proposal. From there we can make an official announcement of our engagement." Drew continued.

Rebecca felt her blood boiling as she took offense to going along with an arranged marriage.

"I'm going to need a drink." Rebecca told him seriously.

Outside, Colby's Uber pulled up to the Westbury Hotel. He looked out of the car window and quickly realized he was out of place.

"This is a five star hotel. You must have lots of money, huh?" The Uber driver asked.

"More like I spent my entire life's saving just to stay here for a few days." Colby said as he got out of the car.

He began getting his luggage out of the trunk as he continued looking at the elegant hotel in awe.

"Thank you for the ride." Colby said

His Uber driver got back in the car without responding.

Seth took a deep breath, knowing that this wasn't going to what he had expected at all.

At the hotel resturaunt, Rebecca had just chugged down an entire mimosa.

"I think you'd better slow down on the drinks Rebecca." Drew warned her with a bit of impatience.

"Oh, okay.. Can you do me a favor though?" Rebecca asked.

"Yeah?" Drew asked.

"Don't tell me what to do." Rebecca said truthfully.

Drew couldn't help but be a little surprised by Rebecca's sudden change of attitude.

"I'm sorry.. I don't mean to be rude." Rebecca began to apologize. "This is just a lot for me.. And it's all so fast."

"That is what your father wanted, yes?" Drew asked.

Rebecca stared at Drew from across the table as if she had just come to some sort of realization.

"I can't do this." Rebecca surprisingly let out.

Drew furrowed his eyebrows in confusion.

"This isn't what I want. I don't want any of this." Rebecca told him.

"But your father-." Drew tried to explain to her.

"This isn't about my father." Rebecca interrupted him.

Drew let out an unbelievable laugh.

"I'm sorry that I wasted your time but I can't go forward with this." Rebecca said seriously.

Drew stared at Rebecca with disbelief at what he was hearing. He got up with a bit of frustration and stormed out of the hotel.

At the front desk, the concierge took Seth's information and began processing his payment for his stay. Colby couldn't help but feel embarrassed. Everyone in the hotel was clearly very wealthy yet here he was, a small town boy from the mid-west, rocking jeans and a worn out flannel shirt. Everyone was giving him looks of judgement.

"Here you are sir. Room 305." The concierge said as he handed Colby his room keys.

"Thank you." Colby said as he took notice of the bar on the other side of the lobby.

After spending all of his savings and being in a place that made him feel a little insecure about himself, Colby was dying for a drink.

"Can I have a beer, please?" Colby asked as he approached the bar with his luggage.

"A beer?" The bartender asked as if he was judging Colby's choice of drink.

Seth furrowed his eyebrows in confusion.

"Oh, I'm sorry. Do you guys not have that here?" Colby asked.

"No, no, we have beer." The bartender said.

Colby looked around and realized no one else was drinking beer. Thoughts flooded his head as he felt the eyes of the entire room on him. He looked around. No one was actually looking at him, it was just a bit of anxiety taking over him.

"Scotch please." Rebecca said as she sat down at the bar.

Colby quickly glanced down to find a beautiful, brown eyed woman just a few feet from him. She was clearly out of his league.

Rebecca took a deep breath and began taking off her heels. Colby watching in confusion out of the corner of his eye as she acted as if no one was watching.

"You clearly don't belong here." Rebecca said suddenly.

Colby looked away quickly, hoping she wasn't talking to him. Rebecca examined Colby for a moment, seeing that he was definitely out of place.

"Neither do I." Rebecca confessed.

Colby now looked over at her with curiosity.

"It certainly doesn't look that way." Colby said.

Rebecca let out a small laugh.

"Not everything is it exactly as it appears." Rebecca assured him.

Colby couldn't help but be intrigued by the beautiful Irish woman.

"What's your name?" Rebecca asked, curious of the outsider standing before her.

"Colby." He told her as he gripped tightly onto his glass of beer.

Rebecca got up and moved to the seat next to him.

"I'm Rebecca." She told him as she head up her glass for a cheers.

Colby let out an unbelievable smile as he watched Rebecca take a drink. What neither of them knew was that this was the day that would change the rest of their lives. From this moment on, everything would change. Nothing would ever be the same again.
