Although I'm not a big fan of musicals what compelled me to watch it was Meryl Streep and........ The lesbians.
It was cute, fluffy, emotional and I loved character development of each character except Alyssa's mom, I still hate her. The only thing I was disappointed with was the screen time our gays got, for a gay musical the actual amount of time we saw the gays was very little.
The movie has a sweet ending with all the gays, lesbians, she/theys and he/theys getting the prom they deserve.
