he was pulling me away from the edge, kayla looked up and laughed then went inside the house

we walked downstairs through the crowd of people and saw kayla taking shots

I let go of dylan's hand and went to go hug kayla
eli: where did you go
kayla: ah... I went to go help jacob with something

eli: well I had to throw up!

eli: I was on the roof with dylan

I tilted my head in confusion

I took the shot and then shook my head from the taste

we all went to dance and jacob ended up having to go help his friend out with something. at this point the only ones who weren't drunk was dylan and andy.
kayla: ughhhh!
eli: what!
kayla: henry says the teachers are checking rooms to see if everyone is there!
eli: what??
I couldn't hear her over the loud music, she rolled her eyes and showed me the text message
eli: oh fuck!
i grabbed both dylan and andy and dragged them out of the house
dylan: what's wrong?
eli: do your thingy! the- the doctor strange thing!
andy: HAHAHA DOCTOR STRANGE
dylan: fuck off! im way cooler than that guy!
kayla: hurry up! teachers are checking rooms!
andy was still laughed, dylan rolled his eyes and opened a warp gate to our room first and then they both warped into their room. we both took our shoes off and jumped in our beds, turning the lights off
kayla: do not make a sound!
she whisper shouted at me
eli: I won't!
I whispered back. we heard a soft knock at our door and in came aizawa checking on us.
aizawa: ...hm
he was about to close the door and then-
eli: *hic*
my eyes shot wide open and so did kaylas. we were both facing away from the door and he paused for a second. I felt my stomach turning and I was praying to god that I wouldn't throw up right now. he finally closed the door and I ran to the bathroom holding my stomach and mouth then yacked again and kayla held my hair back
kayla: girl what the hell
eli: I didn't ea-
I threw up mid sentence
eli: I didn't eat anything before!
kayla: are you stupid?! you're not supposed to drink on an empty stomach!
eli: they had eaten all of the pi-

eli: there was no pizza left!
kayla: are you don-
eli: blaargh!
kayla: never mind
after throwing my guts up, I had finally finished and rinsed my mouth then brushed my teeth and changed clothes
kayla: what am I going to do with you
eli: Im so thirsty..
kayla: let me go get some water
at this point kayla had sobered up a bit because of the shock. she went out in the hall and bought about four water bottles from the vending machine and came back in
kayla: here
I took two out of her hands and she placed the other two on her night stand
kayla: sleep on your side
eli: alright... good..ni..
I passed out mid sentence and she chuckled then eventually fell asleep as well.
morning after ~
I woke up with a huge headache and nausea, I looked at the time and it was was almost 2 in the afternoon I groaned and looked over at kaylas bed, she was gone
eli: ugh...
I got up and felt like my head was going to explode, I ended up going to take a shower and when I came out kayla was chugging down a water
kaylas pov:
eli: where did you go
kayla: i went to go buy some advil, my head is pounding
eli: me too
I handed her an advil and she chugged it down with water
eli: yesterday was a good day, you know, other then throwing up
kayla: ...yeah? why's that?
eli: it was just fun! also.. dylan and I started dating..
she smiled to herself, I should be happy for them.. but why do I feel so bad for kairi..
eli: ..what's wrong?
kayla: ah...n-nothing, im happy for you guys
I smiled at her and then she went over to brush her hair out. I shouldn't have to force a smile for my friends relationship.. so why.. why-
andy: can we come in?
there was a knock on the door
eli: yeah
both dylan and andy came in
dylan: you guys look like shit
kayla: not the rat talking
andy: I left my jacket at the party bruh
eli: one of your fan girls probably took it
andy: they probably did
dylan: you can wear one of my hoodies bae
andy: you hear that eli? im stealing your man already
eli: stop playing, you're just a booty call
andy: I hate you
dylan: she's not wrong
they were laughing and making jokes, I should be in on that as well but I just wasn't in the mood. maybe it was just the hangover that was making me act like this — that's gotta be it.. right? I-
andy: earth to kayla
kayla: what?? oh! sorry..
dylan: is your hang over that bad?
kayla: guess so..
I weakly chuckled
andy: you guys should go eat something
dylan: I have something for you to eat, eli
eli: I will literally murder you if you don't shut up
dylan laughed and I followed them out of the room
dylan: where did you go last night kayla?
kayla: I went with jacob
dylan: why?
andy: so you just got into a strangers car?
I mean, there wasn't a "stranger" with us
kayla: I had to help him with something, plus you guys literally ditched me and I was bored so I went, it's not like I never came back, chill the fuck out
I looked down at my phone
eli: ...
dylan: okay...? sorry for asking I guess
andy: um... what do you guys wanna eat..
dylan: what do you wanna eat?
he looked down at eli
eli: um... i'm down with whatever kayla wants to eat
they looked over at me
kayla: im actually not feeling all that great, i'll stay back
I turned around and walked back to the room as they stood there in silence watching me leave. I closed the door and sat on the floor. why didn't I feel happy about dylan and eli.. they're both my friends.. I should be happy for them! I feel so bad for kairi though.. my phone rang and it was jacob calling me
kayla: hello
jacob: hey girl! kairi wants to buy us food for helping him out last night, are you busy right now?
kayla: ...
I left my friends just now.. should I really go out with jacob and kairi right now..?
kayla: ..nah, i'm free right now
jacob: great we'll pick you up in a bit!
kayla: alright
the phone call ended and I flopped on my bed and scrolled through instagram
arelys pov:
after kayla left things weren't sitting right, she said she wasn't feeling well so maybe it was just the hangover but.. something else seemed to be wrong. we ended up getting takeout from a chinese restaurant near by and walked back to the hotel
eli: ughhh im never drinking again
andy: that's what you said last time
eli: im serious this time!
dylan: you also said that last time
eli: always doubting me!
andy: it's the same conversation each time
eli: whatever
dylan: hey isnt that kairis car?
we were a bit far from the hotel but we saw kairis car parked in front. the passenger door opened and jacob came out and waved at someone. kayla came running out and they hugged, she waved at kairi and then she went into the back seat and they left
eli: why is she...
andy and dylan looked at each other and I stood there confused. we walked back up to my room and sat down at the small table we had in the room and ate.
eli: I should text her..
andy: yeah
dylan: she seemed mad
eli: do you think she was actually pissed about us ditching her? oh man.. I feel bad now..
dylan: just ask her where she is
andy: don't tell her we saw her though
eli: right..
I pulled my phone out and texted her
eli: hey we brought you some chinese food, where are you?
kayla: im hanging out with maya
we heard mayas voice from across the hall
eli: I thought she was mad at you?
kayla: ah, yeah we talked things out
dylan: why is she lying?
andy: what the hell?
eli: ..
eli: oh I see.. i'll save your food in the mini fridge

jacob: bitch let's go get some burgers from angel!
kairi: is he open today?
jacob: yeah, wayne posted it on his story
kayla: angel?
kairi: angel sells some fire ass burgers you HAVE to try them
jacob: I swear you're gonna fall in love with them!
kayla: i've actually never tried a burger
jacob: WHAT?! LIKE EVER?!
kayla: yeah, my mom never let me
jacob: you've tried hotdogs though right?
kayla: yeah, I don't really like them though
jacob: you just haven't gone to the right places! kairi step on it! we're gonna take this girls burger v card!
he tugged on kairis hoodie
kairi: okay, okay! chill out!
we eventually got to a food truck and he parked across the street.
jacob: angellll!
angel: jacob! kairi! girl!
kayla: i'd prefer "gal"
he laughed
angel: always nice to see a new face, what can I get for you guys
kairi: three of your best burgers, she's never tried a burger
angel: what?!
jacob: that's what I said!
angel: don't you worry, I got yall. you're lucky we're cool, otherwise i'd make you guys wait like the rest of these people
kairi: we skipping the line?
angel: mhm
kairi: this is why angel is the homie
we stood to the side and not long after, he gave us our burgers
angel: on the house
jacob: mmm you're being extra nice today
angel: how can I make such a pretty face wait?
kairi and jacob looked over at me and wiggled their eyebrows
