Scenario 1: Falling off the deep end was easier than people made it out to be. Ever since the day you disappeared into the blinding waves of the city, you'd deteriorated in ways you hadn't even imagined. You lost that charm in your smile, and you noticed how dull your eyes were whenever you passed by your mirror. Stuck in this crammed apartment, the light taunted you from the far end of the tunnel. Tonight, you found yourself leaning over the balcony to gaze at the lights and people below you. A cigarette was clutched between your fingertips, and you found a moment where you could close your eyes, and none of it would matter.

Unfortunately, the harsh knocks on your door wouldn't let you relax. "(Name) it's me, open up." You'd recognize that voice from the occasional unread messages on your phone. It was (Crush), an old friend of yours. But what had possessed them to drive all the way out here? You...
