The host: The next battle is between Ash Ketchum and Barry!
*Ash's POV*
Ash: It's our turn, Pikachu!
Pikachu: Pika!
I head to the battlefield and see Barry walking to his side of the field.
Barry: All the best, Ash!
Ash: All the best to you too, Barry!
Referee: This 1v1 battle is between Barry from Sinnoh region and Ash Ketchum from Pallet town in Kanto region. There will be no substitutions. May the Battle begin!
Ash: Pikachu, I choose you!
Barry: Staraptor, Let's Go!
The Host: So Ash has chosen Pikachu an electric type and Barry has chosen Starapter a flying type. So far, Barry is at the disadvantage!
Barry: Staraptor, Use Aerial Ace!
(Staraptor flies fast towards Pikachu.)
Ash: Pikachu, Dodge!
(Pikachu dodges it.)
Ash: Use thunderbolt, Pikachu!
(Pikachu shoots a thunderbolt at Staraptor.)
Barry: Dodge it!
(Staraptor is unable to dodge it and therefore gets hit.)
Barry: Can you battle still, Staraptor?
Staraptor: Star!
Barry: Okay, Now use Whirlwind.
(The bird pokemon makes a tornado of air and threw it towards Pikachu.)
Ash: Dodge it!
(Pikachu dodges it.)
Barry: Aerial Ace,now!
Ash: Use Irontail!
(Staraptor flies fast towards Pikachu as he runs towards hi with his tail turning white. Pikachu's tail hits Staraptor on it face. Due to force, they get thrown back at the ground.)
Staraptor: star.....
Pikachu: Pika.....
Ash: You okay, Pikachu?
Barry: What about you, Staraptor?
(Both Pikachu and Staraptor nod.)
Ash: Okay Pikachu, Finish this with Electro Ball!
(Pikachu's tail make a ball of electricity and throws it at staraptor. Staraptor falls down, fainted.)
Referee: Staraptor is unable to battle! That means Ash Ketchum from Pallet town wins the battle.
The host: Wow, peeps! That was an a-m-a-z-i-n-g battle! Ash Ketchum progresses to the 2nd round!
Serena: Hurray! ASH GOT INTO THE NEXT ROUND!!!!!
Dawn: Have a chill pill, girl.....
Barry: That was one heck of a battleman
Ash: Yeah!
(They shake their hands. Ash heads back to the locker room where Gary, Brock and Misty are waiting for their battle.)
Gary: Congrats, Ashy-boy!
Brock: Congratulations, Ash!
Misty: Congrats!
Ash: Thank you! Best of luck for your battle! See ya!
Everyone: Thank you!
(Ash heads out of the locker room to the audience seats to watch other battles.)
Dawn: Look! There's Ash!
(Dawn points towards Ash.)
Serena: Oh Hi Ash! Congrats on your win!
Ash: Thanks, Serena!
Everyone else: Congratulations, Ash!
Ash: Thanks, Everybody!
(The day gets over with battling the competitors, Barry, Iris, Brock, Misty, Calem, Alain get to the 2nd round while Cilan, Goh and Chloe didn't get qualified. Now, Ash lays down on his bed.)
Ash: Day after tomorrow will be our next battle, buddy.
Pikachu: Pikaa.....
(Pikachu scoots towards Ash. Ash starts cuddling with him.)
Ash: Goodnight, buddy...
(They both fall asleep.)
