A/N: Okay, for the people who are wondering why does this new book that I just realize have twenty something chapters already is because I have been working on this book for a while. The only reason it took me a while to release it normally was because I kept having to rewrite it or add new things. For the new people, hi, and I hope everyone enjoys this book.
The people in Kuoh city doesn't know about the horrors that show up in night. The horrors that take the form of demons and eat anyone that they can get their hands on. They also don't know about the heroes who protect them from the demons, known as the Demon Slayers. They risk their life protecting the people from those monsters every single day.
Right now, one of the most highest ranking Demon Slayers, Kyojuro Rengoku was summon by Oyakata. "I see you're doing well Okayata, I hope you get more well soon!" Rengoku said. "Thank you Rengoku, but I have a mission for you and your new students" Oyakata said. "What is it?" Rengoku asked.
"Supposedly people have been going missing in the night again and their leading up all to the Kuoh Academy. You must know all about that school."
"Yes sir, it used to be a all girl school before allowing boys a couple years ago!" Rengoku said, sounding like he was kinda shouting. "I want you and your students to go there and find out what's causing it. And be careful, theirs a chance it might be the works of one of the twelve moons."
Rengoku nodded and left. He found his three students in a room as they were chasing each other. Zenitsu was chasing a girl with a bamboo in her mouth, while Tanjiro was chasing telling him to stop. Then there was a boy with a boar mask on, challenging Tanjiro to a fight. "Attention Students!" he shouted, and everyone stop.
"Rengoku, did Oyakata give us a mission?" Tanjiro asked. "Yes, he did. We have to go to Kuoh Academy and find out any information about the demons that have been taking people at night." The three of them nodded and Inosuke said "What's a school?"
Time Skip brought you by a chibi Rengoku and Tanjiro practicing their sword skills.
The four of them stood in front of the school and Rengoku said "Well, lets go!" They walked inside and Inosuke was complaining that he had to wear a shirt. "Just wear it Inosuke, plus it looks good on you" Tanjiro said. Inosuke mumbled about something as they went to their class room.
"Here we are! Class 2b!" Rengoku announced. He knocked on the door and the teacher answered the door. "Oh, new students. Just wait a minute" he told them, before going back to the class. After a minute, he let them. "Alright class, we're having four new students. Please introduce yourselves."
"I'm Kyojuro Rengoku! It's nice to meet you all!" he announced, making some of the kids covered their ears. "I'm Tanjiro Kamado, I'm the eldest of my family" Tanjiro said. "I'm Inosuke Hashibira, the moutain god!" Insouke said, as the teacher asked him to button his shirt.
"I'm Zenitsu Agatsuma."
The class was mostly silent about them, and they took their seats. When it was time for lunch, Rengoku was eating his food, saying it was delicious as he ate it. He annoyed most of the kids there, as he kept on saying "Umai" as he ate.
"Maybe you should keep it down Rengoku sensei" Zenitsu asked him. "But it's so delicious!" Rengoku said, as he kept on eating it. Inosuke was eating all his food, shoving it into his mouth. Zenitsu looked disgusted and said "Can you please eat with your mouth close!?"
"Anyway, students we must go find information about the demons" Rengoku said, as he left to go find something about them. "Where are we going to find information about a creature that people don't think exist?" Zenitsu said.
"We need to stop these disappearances" said a voice near by. The trio sneakily walk over to the wall, with Inosuke rolling on the floor to the wall. They look to see a red hair girl and a black hair talking. "Their not stray devils, it has to be something else" the black hair girl said. "Whatever it's causing it we have to find them, and kill them" the red hair girl said.
"They must be talking about the demons" Tanjiro said. "But what are devils?" Inosuke asked. "You guys were paying attention to them!? I was just looking at their bust" Zenitsu said. Tanjiro sniff the air and said "They don't have a regular smell. It's not human but also not demon." Rengoku ran outside and stop when he heard "Rias doesn't know what's causing the disappearances?"
He hid behind a tree and look to see a brown hair boy talking to a blond hair boy. "She says she doesn't think it's a stray devil, she says that her family might have to come see what's causing it" the blond boy said. 'Devils? What are devils?' Rengoku thought in his head.
After school, the four of them gathered up. "Found anything?" Rengoku asked them. "We only heard something about devils" Tanjiro said. "Me too, but I have never heard of them. I may have to ask Oyakata."
They were walking home when Tanjiro sniff something in the air. "I smell a demon!" he said. They started running and they took out their swords. They ran to an abandonment house and found a demon eating a dead person. He look up at them and he said "Demon Slayers?"
"Flame Breathing First Form: Unknowing Fire!" Rengoku shouted as he dashed at the demon slicing the demon's head off.
He left a trail of fire after he attack. He put his sword away and they heard people coming. They turn and saw a group of teens standing there. Tanjiro recognize one of them. 'Its the red hair girl' he said in his head. "Who are you people?" the red hair girl asked them. "I know them, their the new kids in my class" the brown boy said.
"Let me introduce myself, I am Kyojuro Rengoku" Rengoku said. The trio introduce themselves and Rengoku said "We are demon slayers. We were sent here to take care of the demons that have been causing the disappearances here."
"So demons were the ones causing the disappearances?" the red hair girl said. "What are demons?"
"Demons used to be humans before turning into one. They now eat people to get more powers, us Demon Slayers hunt them down and kill them" Tanjiro said. "Now it's our turn to ask the questions!" Inosuke shouted, as he then couldn't think of one. "I have a question, you guys aren't human but not a demon either. What are you?" Tanjiro asked them.
"How can you tell?" the red hair girl asked. "I have a special way to smell things. I know what humans smell like and demons, but you guys don't smell like either of them."
"Well, since you did tell us you're demon slayers, I guess we should tell you what we are." Wings then pop out the back of his back and they said "We're devils."
"Devils?" Rengoku asked. "Don't worry about us though, we don't have to eat human flesh to live. I am Rias Gremory."
They then introduce themselves and Zenitsu asked "Are any of you lovely ladies single?"
Akeno giggled and said "I like that one."
Inosuke roar and said "I want to fight one of you! Show me what you devils can do!"
"If he's challenging us, I'll accept it" Issei said, as Rias hold him back. "Now we know what's causing the disappearances, but how do we kill these demons?" Rias asked. "You can only kill them by beheading them with a strong weapon, or sunlight. Their vulnerable to sunlight, that's why they attack at night" Tanjiro said.
"I'm pretty sure I can take care of them with my sacred gear" Issei said. "I have never heard of a scared gear, but if it's strong that it could" Rengoku said. "Base on what I see, you're a good swordsman Rengoku. I want you to join my peerage" Rias said.
"Sorry but I'm already part of the Demon Slayer Corps. And not just any demon slayer, but the Fire Hashira."
