I ended the call with Delilah and Niall somewhere near 6:30. I kind of crashed their whole date so I feel bad. but it's Delilah's fault, she should have told me.
I was bored so I decided to text lev. he said he hated parties so I don't think he'll be mad at me for texting him
i grab my phone and start texting him.
me- having fun at the ball? ;)
I don't expect him to reply instantly
levy- well I'm not there yet. do you need a ride back?
My heart swooned.
me- nope. I'm already back. I stopped by to get snacks for myself
levy- save me some. I'll be there by midnight.
I laugh
me- I'll try no promises. will Aiza and Armaan be at the ball too? arent their family rich too?
i have been talking to Aiza every day and she's really fun. I plan on introducing her to Delilah
levy- they are but they don't normally attend things like these so I don't know.
me- if they are tell them I said hi
levy- will do. listen I gotta go before my dad flips out. see you in a couple of hours.
my heart flutters. maybe Niall was right. maybe just a little right...........
I start typing 'can't wait to see you' then I decide against it.

it was 10 pm now and I was watching all the harry potter movies.
I've already watched season 2 of vampire diaries, half a season of the originals, and the 2 seasons of derry girls.
I was watching deathly hollows. (i was watching them backwards.) when I got bored of looking at the tv screen
Now you may be thinking- how is that possible to watch all that in like 4 hours? Well, I skipped some of the parts that I didn't like and some episodes too....
I decided to snap lev to check up on him

Realizing I won't get an immediate answer, I start messing around on my phone. I open my texts and huff.
It's new year's eve but still nothing from my parents

I finally decide to edit pictures that I wanna post on my insta for New Years'.
I was done with my 2nd photo when I got a reply from lev
Levy- sorry I was with some businessmen and couldn't check my phone. Well technically I still am but it's getting boring
Levy- everything is.....meh.
I laugh and shake my head
Me- in sowy . If it makes you feel any better, I'm bored too and I saved some food for you too.
Levy- thank you. I think I might be a little late but I promise you I'll be there.
There goes my stupid heart again. It's funny how such simple words can make my heart do a cartwheel
Before I can reply, my phone starts ringing and it's my dad
Me- my dad is calling me. See ya later
Not waiting for a reply, I accept the call. When you're parents don't really show you any attention, you start to jump at every thought of talking to them or gaining their attention even if for a bad thing.
"Hello?" Dad asks
"Hey dad" I say breathlessly
"Hello doll, how are you?" My heart aches at the old nickname he used to call me. I missed it
"I'm great. How are you celebrating new year's?" I ask
"Well me and my crewmates are gonna go out on the deck and watch the firecrackers like always, what about you?" He asks
"I am just hanging out in my hotel room and watching shows and movies" I shrug
"Are you crazy? You are in New York! Go to the time square or something" he says in disbelief
"You know dad how much I hate socializing too much" or you would have if you would've known me
"Oh cmon, you are probably boring crap out of poor Liama" my eyes widen
Ohhh rightttt they don't know about Liam yet
Well better late than never, I'm leaving soon anyways
"Um dad, there is something you should know..."
"What is it doll?"
"When I was on the plane to New York, I got a text from Liam.....he broke up with me," I say coldly.
There was silence for a long time and I thought he hung up before he spoke up
"So what are you doing in New York then?" Typical dad, trying to walk around the emotional stuff. I get that from him
"I'm taking some time off, I know people back at school will talk about our breakup and i'm....just not ready" I sigh
"I understand. Back in the days, whenever things got complicated, I would just travel. That's why I love my job so much" I can tell he is nodding
"Besides I'm making friends here and I think I might move here for college. I'm all alone at home anyways"
"I'm fine with that and I know your mother won't mind, besides you can live with uncle Kevin"
My breathe hitches. Uncle Kevin? In new york?!
"Uncle west?! He's in New York?!"
I heard a slam and I know dad had slapped his mouth shut "shit your mom didn't want you knowing that" he mumbled
"Dad please tell me where uncle Kevin is! You know how much I miss him" my voice breaks a little
"Listen doll, I gotta go.....there's some problem in the office. Love you bye" and he hung up
I scream in frustration.
I just wanna meet uncle west and my cousins!
I will find them! Now that I know where he is, I will hunt the whole of New York for him.

It was now almost midnight and I was getting more frustrated

If you haven't yet guessed, lev Night isn't here yet. I've thought about texting and calling him but I didn't wanna seem clingy. maybe he got caught up in something
Or maybe he finally realized you weren't good enough for him
Or he was just running late because of the traffic
Or he saw a beautiful girl at the party and is talking to her and forgot about you

The countdown of the news channel started and I paced around the room
"Just 2 minutes folks!" The news reporter beamed
2 minutes
He can still make it if he's on his way
I thought about calling Delilah but stopped
She's probably with Niall and he might plan on kissing her at midnight or even say i love you and I don't wanna ruin that.
Maybe Aiza?
She's at the party and celebrating with her family...
Then I'm left with........no one
Wow, I've never felt so lonely before.
It's scary how dependent I'm on lev and I know it's not really healthy but I never thought I would question it...
I'm starting to question it now....
"30 seconds people! Get your significant others ready for the New Years' kiss!"
It was like he was mocking me!

Yes i did think i will kiss lev at midnight but no need to rub it in my face!

The bell rang and I ran to the door. But I tripped on the plastic-wrapped on my ground and fell

When he smashed his lips on mine. I was startled and he looked unsure for a second but then he started moving his lips with determination
"HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!" The news reporter shouted Faintly in the background
I snapped out of it and moved closer to lev and wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him back passionately
He smiled into the kiss same as me
