I look at this silver bracelet looking thing he attached to my wrist and try to take it off but I can't get it past the knobby bone on my wrist and there's no visible way to open it. It's a plain silver bracelet with a silhouette of a wolf and moon. What the fuck is this thing? And being silver it stings my skin not enough to leave marks but to be a constant uncomfortable sting. Then I touch the mask the dick glued to my face. I need to find away to get this off without ripping my skin with it!
"Alpha. What is this bracelet thing for?"
"That. My dear IT. Is to make sure you don't get any ideas about finding a mate."
"I don't…..I don't understand. This will STOP me from finding my mate?"

Not long enough to really know the face to stay away from but that's the point, he wants me to fuck up.

how fucking dare he!! I'm fuming. I need to get away from here. I could try Saturday during the hunt. Alpha explained that once everyone has arrived and mingled for potential and true mates, then on Friday all the she-wolves are let loose into the forest and there mates have to chase them down, if they catch you there entitled to fuck you and if you so choose, they can mate. This 'Chase' lasts untill Saturday evening then Sunday is rest and you can leave or enjoy the last day and leave monday. A Lot of them do it for the thrill of the chase and getting laid but there are those that mate too. I will definitely be using the dart things on any bastard that tries it on me, that's for sure! Plus come on people were in the 21st century, why be so demeaning toward us she-wolves, how about we chase the men. And when we caught them, we were entitled to kick them in the balls!! How do you like them apples huh.
Yeah it wouldn't happen, because they would see it as disrespectful to them. Well I feel the same about this. And entitled! What a joke. I really hope that's just the way the Alpha phrased it and that not everyone actually sees it that way. I will be kicking balls if some, Puffed up Douchebag even comes near me. Will be nice to be out there though, I haven't been outside in years! I go to the bathroom with difficulty and run the water over my feet. There shredded that dick, he totally did it so I would find it hard to walk and if someone asked why then the Alpha would punish me. As if my back wasn't bad enough I now have bad feet.
I find a sheet and rip it into stripes and wrap it around my feet as best I can. Wincing as I go to the wardrobe to get the dress. It's the only one hanging there so has to be the right one. I go sit on the bed to rest my feet and unzip the bag.
I love it. It's emerald green with a sparkle. I slip into it and it looks like green liquid is pooling around me. There's a slit up one leg but the material overlays so you can't see anything unless I show it on purpose. My chest is visible but Remi left the stuff she told me to use to cover up the faint bruising. And the sleeves make it look like I have flowers on my arms as you can still see my skin but the flowers cover most of the bruising so isn't noticeable. The back dips down low, like almost to the top of my bum. But I can see my hair covers most of it and again I have to put that shit on my back somehow.
I look up into the mirror and have no clue who's looking back at me. Though very thin I can't see any bruising or wounds. My eyes!! She's done a smokey eye with plum purple eyeshadow. Thats luckily not smudged and the mask is emerald green and silver, with glitter and feathers and is quite pretty. It covers from the middle of my forehead down and covers the whole of my nose and stops just above my lips, it goes past my cheeks and only leaves my lips and chin visible. The whole thing makes me look mysterious. I pull out the shoes which are matching green flat's. Thank god, heels would have killed me.
Then there's the accessories. Silver bracelets for both wrists, great so I'm gonna fucking jingle, a choker style silver necklace with small jewels covering it, it has jewels that drop down and the bottom jewels are plum or emerald. There's a long chain at the back that hangs down my back. On the end is a wolf howling, it's silver but the wolf is black it's on a crescent moon that has a pattern and pentagram woven into it, not that anyone will see it as my hair will cover it, but it is beautiful. Lastly a slide clip for my hair in the shape of a crescent moon with a cluster of stars across it and 2 separate starbursts, all of it covered in jewels to make it sparkle. my hair has gone abit wavey now due to being shoved about I guess.
There's a knock at the door which I wasn't expecting, I hobble to it and open it. To see it's that guy from before shit!
"WOW…."
I blush, what the fuck!
"You er… you look Beautiful"
Is he on something? No need to be rude. I know I'm not. And I definitely don't look or feel like me right now. All I can do is raise my eyebrow and link Alpha.
"That guy from earlier just knocked on my door"
"On my way!"
I sigh, He's just looking at me. Hasn't he seen a girl in a dress before??
Clearing his throat he stumbles out
" er… yeah.. right… umm… i-uhh.. just wanted to say sorry… yeah sorry."
I push my lips together to stop myself smiling at his cuteness.
"You know earlier. Turns out my brother's room was the next floor up..(he chuckles and rubs the back of his neck)oh my name is Parker and i'm from the Royal Moon Pack." He's looking at me again and I think yeah I know frustrating isn't it a girl that can't say shit or look you in the eye. Rolling my eyes I tap my throat and shake my head.
"Oh your….your mute?" I nod
"Well I was wondering if I cou-"
"I'm here for you now. Is anything wrong?"
"Oh hello Alpha Daniel. No, everything is good. I accidentally walked in on this lovely lady thinking it was my brother's room. I just came to apologise and see if I could escort her down to the ball."
He says pleasantly to the Alpha, so his names Daniel, good to know.
"Oh well.. I've come to escort her down."
"Are you going to refuse me the honour Alpha?"
"No. no of course not. Shall we go!"
I manage to just about hold in my smirk as he turns with rage in his eyes. And Parker holds his arm out to me with a smile. I hesitantly take it and slowly step out. My feet are fucking killing me. And he probably thinks I'm shy as I don't ever really look at him.
"How am I supposed to hide the pain on my feet? This is excruciating"
"Well. you better. And if you fuck anything up I'll unleash Alpha Darren on you tonight." My eyes whip to him and I stumble. Parker catches and asks If I'm OK. I just smile and nod and we continue. I have no idea where we're going as I let him steer me while I'm internally trying to get Alpha to reconsider.
"I'll be on my best behaviour, but your drawing undue attention to me by leaving them. Please….. it hurts too much for me to be able to stop showing all pain." I plead with him
"I've got Lisa waiting for you when we get in there. This is one of the important men I mentioned so I suggest once you can get away you stay away."
Sighing in relief I say "yes Alpha"
That's when I started paying attention and noticed i was walking outside. The fresh air and breeze is amazing. I close my eyes and enjoy it. I also hear 100's of people milling about and chatting. Parker chuckles at me. I know I'm trusting a complete stranger to escort me while keeping my eyes closed but he's done nothing to make me fear him.
We get to the pack's large hall and step in. It's like a whole other place. There are tables and chairs everywhere, a dance floor. A raised platform for all the different Alphas and there's a platform higher up with a few chairs and men standing there. The main chair is occupied, the sight making me catch my breath.
He's fucking drop dead gorgeous, like it should be illegal how good looking he is. He has brown hair, shorter on the sides than the top, that I want to run my fingers through. As he's not looking at me I can take in his deep brown eyes and long lashes most girls would kill for. He has a chiseled face that's covered with a 5 o'clock shadow. He looks dashing and alot like Parker. Maybe that's his brother. And if I take a deep enough inhale I can smell that mouth watering cinnamon and forest smell. I wonder if it's coming from him and why! He's the one Alpha sent a mental image of for me to stay away from. But all I want to do is get closer.
Parker starts taking me in that direction and I tug my arm from his. Not wanting to as Alpha said no. Also my feet hurt and I want to find Lisa to sort them out so it's bearable. Parker looks at me in confusion, I look and see the one I think is his brother is now looking at me and standing. He starts towards us and I smile, wave and then rush off hearing
"Wait!!... please!"
I just keep going. There's too many people for him to catch up to me. I sigh in relief as I get to the corridor and lean against the wall catching my breath. After 5 minutes I head off to find Lisa only to be yanked into a room and have the door slammed shut.
I spin and see Lisa and Alpha who slaps me hard across the face. It hurts like a bitch as it pulls the mask too, it feels like some of my skin has ripped off.
"How dare you act that way and just run off!" Another slap and my lip is bleeding again and I feel the glue on my cheekbone protest and pull there too.
"What was I supposed to do??? He was leading me to that man you told me to stay away from. Then I saw him get up and take a step towards us. You said I needed to leave and not talk to the important people. So fuck you because I only did what you told me too."
"I've had enough of your lip, stay away from PARKER and his brother. And expect a visit tonight." He spits out Parker as if it's a filthy name.
"but you said-"
He cut me off with a punch to the face. Snapping my nose. The mask breaks there too tearing my skin. And I cry out, eyes watering. I try so hard to look him in the eye but I'm still too weak to break it.
"I DON'T CARE WHAT I SAID! ALPHA DARREN WILL BE THE ONE VISITING YOU TONIGHT. Shit! Lisa soundproof the room" He rushes out.
"First thing I did when we came in the room Alpha"
"No. please. anything but him"
"YOUR LUCKY I DON'T TAKE YOU BACK TO YOUR ROOM AND PUNISH YOU NOW." He's in such a rage and it's not even my fault.
"Alpha you need to calm down. Let me heal IT'S feet. And I'll put a spell on her face for the bruising, nose and lip ok." The witch soothingly says to him.
"Can you hide anything?"
"Of course"
"Good"
He grabs my wrist and force's me against the wall.
"PLEASE, I DID EVERYTHING YOU ASKED."
"Keep her there" he says sinisterly
I feel my hands stick to the wall and I can't pull them away.
"Done"
There's no point pleading I don't know why I bothered. I feel my hair moved out of the way and my back slicing open. I scream, it's not often he uses the silver blade whip and I wasn't expecting it, especially with everything that's going on. He strikes me 5 times then breathing heavily says
"Only stop the bleeding, and heal her feet so she can walk without giving her pain away. And like I said you haven't gotten away with anything. I'll be seeing you tonight." Once she's healed my feet and stopped the bleeding, she puts the spells on me and they leave. I slump to the floor and sit there wondering what I did to deserve this life.
