I laughed and logged out, locking my phone. A few minutes later, someone knocked on the door.
"You guys are on in 5 minutes!" A man yelled through the door. Oh, did I forget to mention they're gonna be my back up singers?
"You ready Bren?" Mercedes asked.
"Yep! I'm excited!" I said, We walked to the stage, which was behind the wall thing that slides open. We got everything ready, Chord had his guitar and microphone ready, and I'm on the piano with a microphone in front of me. Puck and Mercedes were behind Chord, sharing a microphone. I heard Ellen say,
"Now, it's what you all have been waiting for, Brenda Jackson singing her first hit single, which has been number 1 on the bill boards for nearly two weeks!" The walls slid apart as I started singing.

I stood with Puck, Mercedes, and Chord, and Ellen was in front of me.
"That was great, wasn't it everyone?" The audience cheered."I'll with be interviewing her after the break!" She led me to her chairs and we talked for a few minutes until the break was over.
"And we're back with Ms. Brenda Jackson!" The audience cheered again." It's good to have you here."
"I'm happy to be here."
"So, where are you from?"
"I'm originally from South Carolina, but when I was 16, my mom, grandpa, and I moved to Lima, Ohio. That's where I met Mercedes and Puck."
"Uh huh, where'd you meet Chord?"
"It's a long story."
"We have time. You're the only guest today."
"Um, okay then. A few days after my 17th birthday, my boyfriend at the time, Chord's brother Sam, was in a bad accident. The thing is, he was on Puck's motor cycle, and my ex boyfriend hit him dead on with his truck."
"You're talking about that hit and run a few years ago right? Jordan Walters was arrested for harassment and attempted murder?"
"Yep, ironic huh?" She nodded." Anyway, the doctors thought that he wouldn't make it. He did, obviously. A few hours after the accident, it was on the news, and apparently, Chord was video chatting the news people or something, and I got his number from my uncle, and called him. The next day I met him. Then we found out that whole story about why they look alike. They're twins, obviously,"I laughed."Plus, they're a lot alike."
"Wow, how are they alike?"
"They both sing, they both have abs, great bodies, please don't kill me Mercedes! Anyway, they both love Sponge Bob and kids. And they're equally annoying." Everyone laughed.
"So, can you tell me about Sam? Why you two broke up?" I looked down slightly.Then I looked up and grinned.
"I met Sam on the first day of school, along with all of our friends, which is a lot of people. My first thought about him was 'dang he's hot!'" She laughed." We dated for nearly three years, only breaking up once due to a misunderstanding with some skanky cheerleader." Ellen raised her eye brows." Longer story. Any way, that boy is something. He does incredible impressions, has the most amazing smile, and amazing green eyes. He usually has a smile on his face. There are so many good memories I've had with him. I miss it, to tell you the truth."
"Then why'd you two break up?"
"Well, he's the reason I came to LA, so I could follow my dreams. I didn't want to leave him. A month after I left, I broke up with him. It was the hardest thing I've ever had to do. I cried hours before I broke up with him, just ask Chord, and then after I broke up with him, I cried myself to sleep. It was to hard to not be near him when I wanted to or hug him, or see his face everyday. Well I do, but that's just Chord." Ellen chuckled slightly and I heard Chord burst out laughing at the side of the stage." But like I said, it was the hardest thing I have ever done. Chord, shut up!" I yelled.
"Wow, I don't know what to say. You sound like you still love him."
"I do. I love Chord, he's like a brother to me, but it hurts seeing him sometimes, because he reminds me of Sam." She nodded in understanding.
"Sorry for changing the subject, but can you give us some details on your up coming album?" I smiled at that and crossed my legs. I nodded.
"I'm working on my cover album right now, and it should be finished before Halloween. There will be 13 songs on that album on that one, featuring Chord and Mercedes in two of the songs. All I can tell you about the songs is Chord is rapping in one of them, and I'll be rapping in the other one. My album with all of my original songs, will have 13 songs, most of them are actually about Sam, so yeah... And that one will be released early next year." Ellen nodded.
"Are you making a Christmas alum?"
"Yes ma'am. I know for a fact that I will start recording Christmas songs on November 4th, and it'll be released on December 10th." I said.
"Great. I know earlier you said that you wanted to sing another original song. Will this one be on your album?" I nodded.
"Can I borrow a guitar?" I asked. She nodded and someone brought out a guitar. I tuned it and Ellen asked,
"Who is it about?"
"It's about Sam. I wrote this almost two years ago, but I never had a chance to sing it for him." I said, strumming the guitar.

A few minutes later
"And we're back. You have two brothers right?" I nodded.

"Chris has a son named Blake. He turned one last month. As for Kevin, I don't even talk to him as much any more. I know he'll end up having kids before I even think about getting married." Ellen laughed slightly.
"I saw a picture on Twitter a few days ago. It was a picture of you and the other dude who sang with you. What's his name?"
"Noah Puckerman." I answered." He tells everyone to call him Puck, but he calls me Southern Bell, so I call him Noah. The only people allowed to call him that, is me, his fiance Quinn Fabray, Rachel Berry, and Chord's youngest sister Sandy."
"Rachel Berry as in Broadway star Rachel Berry? Who plays Fanny Brice in Funny Girl?"
"Yes ma'am. She's awesome isn't she? She's one of my best friends."
"That's weird, but great at the same time! Anyway, what's up with the picture of you and Puck?"
"Okay so, Chord usually goes running with me, but he was sick that day, so Noah decided to go with me. They call themselves my body guards. The reason behind that is because when we were at work one day, this pervert came up to me and grabbed my boobs. I kicked him in the privates of course, but they insist on going almost everywhere with me. Plus, Chord punched the guy in the nose, and he broke his nose." Ellen and the audience laughed.
"What are your plans for the holidays?"
"Well, Noah, Mercedes, Chord and I are gonna go home for thanksgiving, and a few days after, Noah, Quinn, Tina, and Mike are having a double of wedding. Tina and Mike are some of our friends. Were gonna stay in Ohio until after New Years.
"That's good." I didn't tell her that Finn and Rachel were getting married the week before Christmas.
"Time's almost up, but today is your birthday right? How old are you?"
"I'm 19."
"Well Happy birthday! I also know that you love doing makeup." I nodded. I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned, knowing that someone was going to try and scare me. Some dude was dressed up as a panda. I grinned.
"Hi."
"That didn't scare you?"
"Nope! I don't get scared easily, unless I see a spider. Those lil' shits are freaky."
"Well, next time your on, I'm gonna scare you, no matter what it is I have to do! And you have to take pictures of your makeup or who ever's makeup you do, and send them to me." I was confused until someone put a huge box of makeup in my lap. smiled, laughing. I put it on the floor and hugged her.
"Thanks! Seriously."
"No problem! Well, that's it for today's show! I'll see you guys tomorrow!"
