■Kita's POV■
It's four in the morning, I've just finished taking my morning shower. I walk out of my room and passing the guest room door, as It's slightly ajar. I see as Y/N is still sleeping peacefully. The memories from last night when I almost kiss her flash through my head.
I immediately walk out of the house and head to my storage, pack some of the goods that will be delivered by (delivery man) san today. I'm trying to put my mind to something else so I could get Y/N out of my head but to no avail.
I need to keep my composure around her...
I don't want Y/N to feel uncomfortable around me. Just then, a creak was heard as the door of the storage was pushed open.
Y/N: Shinsuke san?
Dub dub
Calm down...
Kita: Good morning Y/N...
Her face is slightly flushed as she crept into the storage room.
Y/N: Shinsuke san... did you perhaps... carried me to the guest room last night?
Was she awake?
Kita: yes, you fell asleep on the veranda... so I carried you inside...
Y/N: I uh... I'm so sorry... the wind breeze makes me dozed off... you... should have woke me up Shinsuke san...
Y/N is flustered.
Kita: no, I couldn't wake you up... I don't want to... you looked so peaceful...
Y/N: th-thank you... Shinsuke san...
She helps me put the goods inside my truck. When everything is inside, I told her I want to pick some vegetables for her grandparents, as I'm going to walk her home.
I caught the sight of her. Y/N is looking at the sunrise, the light shines on her figure like a spotlight. I can't hold it as I walk closer and stops in front of her.
Y/N turns her gaze at me.
Y/N: Shinsuke san?
I really like her...
■Y/N's POV■
Shinsuke san is staring at me, he's so close. My heart beats faster as his eyes looking into mine.
Y/N: Shin...suke san?
Kita: I'm so sorry... I... last night I almost kiss you when you were asleep...
I could feel the blood rushes to my face, as my cheeks grew warm. My heart is pounding rapidly inside my chest.
Why would he do that?
Kita: I couldn't help it... seeing the woman that I love sleeping so peacefully in my house... I just can't keep my composure...
Shinsuke san...
Kita: I love you Y/N... the past few months I've been entranced by you... such an admirable woman... kind... beautiful...
Shinsuke bows his head a little, and I could feel my breath hitches.
Kita: I'm sorry... I won't do it again... please don't be ang-

Y/N: I love Shinsuke san...
Shinsuke san lifts his head up and I can see his surprised face.
Yes, I love Shinsuke san. I was attracted to how hard he works, and how he's so mature about anything. He takes good care of his grandmother, never complains about anything, and always does his best.
I'm happy whenever he stops by my shop, I'm happy when he's around. That's why, when he didn't show up for days, I feel the loss.
Y/N: I... love you too Shinsuke san... that's why... when you didn't show up at the shop, I'm feeling lonely... and... when I knew you got in an accident I became worried...
Kita: you... love me too?
I'm so embarrassed when he says that in a face that seems unfazed at all. I can't stare at him and shut my gaze trying to avoid his eyes.
But alas, warmth is surrounding me as I was pulled into his arms. My head is on Shinsuke's broad chest.
Too... close...
Y/N: S-Sh... Shinsuke san...
Kita: I'm sorry... I'm just too happy...
I could feel him tightened his arms around me, but it's not suffocating. Being in his arms like this is comforting.
I timidly move my hands to his back and clutch the back of his shirt.
Y/N: I'm... happy too... Shinsuke san...
Shinsuke san pushes me back a little. I couldn't see him in the eyes, it's making my chest tightened.
I could feel that he's leaning closer, our faces are only an inch away.
Y/N: Shinsuke san...
Kita: Y/N... can I... kiss you then?
How could you ask that kind of question?
I can't say anything, but, I want him to, so I nod my head slowly. I could see that Shinsuke smiles a little before closing the gap between us, as our lips finally connect. His lips feel so soft and gentle on mine. I couldn't help but be melted by him.
Clap!
We pull back and look around. Shinsuke's grandmother is standing and looking at us happily.
Kita's Gm: it seems like I can finally see Shinsuke's wedding soon...
I couldn't help being embarrassed by her remarks. What does Shinsuke san think about this?
I turn my gaze to Shinsuke, my breath was caught as he's smiling happily.
Seeing him like that, I couldn't help but smile as well.
I really love him...
■3rd Person POV■
Kita and Y/N walk together, heading to L/N Rice Bowl. Kita insisted that he wants to walk Y/N home. His grandmother told her to let him to.
Kita slides the door open, Y/N's grandmother looks at the two as they walk inside.
Y/N' Gp: good morning..
Y/N's Gm: oh my, Shinsuke kun... is it okay for you to travel here?
Kita: yes, I'm actually alright.... um I have something to say.
Y/N: S-Shinsuke san?
Kita bows his head in front of Y/N's grandparents, make the two look at him.
Kita: I... please allow me to be in a relationship with Y/N... no, I'm serious about her...I love your Granddaughter...
Y/N's grandparents are surprised by his confession. They turn their gaze at the flustered Y/N, who shyly glancing at Kita.
The elderly couple looks at each other and smiles. Y/N's Grandfather walks closer to Kita and places a hand on his shoulder.
Kita looks up at the smiling old man in front of him.
Y/N: I'd be happy to let her go for someone like you... she loves you...
Kita is delighted to hear Y/N's grandfather's words.
Kita: I, will do my best to make her happy...
Y/N's Gm: I'm sure you will Shinsuke kun...
The elderly couple congratulating the new lovers. Kita and Y/N look at each other and smile.
They're happy that things turn up this way...
They're happy they're able to say what they have for each other...
