Author’s POV:
Trials and misunderstanding are spices that make your relationship strong and tested. In any problem, communication is very important. Never let the day passed without patching whatever misunderstanding na nangyari sa buhay ninyo. What makes the relationship perfect is when two people never give up kahit na anong pagsubok ang maranasan, as long as they have each other, everything will be perfect.
Gerald felt the pressure being given to him by the management, he received the nth time memo for him to follow their orders. Di pa niya ito nasasabi kay Sarah because he didn’t want her to be involved sa problema. He kept it to himself. Ang hindi niya alam, his PA, Ate Nhila, texted Sarah and asked if puede silang magkita.
Ate Nhila: Sars, puede pa tayong magkita ng di alam ni Gerald. May ibig lang sana akong inconsult sa iyo. This is relation sa career ni Gerald.
Sarah texted back and they agreed to have lunch together after niyang ng rehearsal niya for her SGL. Sarah said she will pick her up and they can eat at Imos Restaurant para may privacy.
At the restaurant, Ate Nhila told Sarah about Gerald’s problem sa management. She also told her na he is being frozen until he abide with the orders. Nagulat si Sarah kasi, di man lang ito nasabi sa kanya ni Gerald. Then she realize his sacrifices just to hold on sa kanya. Now she knows the reason why he said he will be on vacation and ask if he can be her bodyguard in all her schedules. Ate Nhila requested Sarah to talk with Gerald kasi nanhihinayang siya sa mga supposedly projects na na-shelved. Alam niyang si Sarah lang ang puedeng kumausap ditto na pakikinggan. Sarah agreed but did not give any assurance that she can persuade Gerald to change his mind. Then she heard her phone ringing and looking at it, she knows Gerald is looking for her.
Sarah: Yes, Babe. What’s up? She signalled to Ate Nhila that Gerald is calling.
Gerald: Babe, where are you? I just passed by the studio and they told me you go out on lunch. Sino kasama mo?
Sarah: Ay OO nga babe, biglaan. We are here at Imo’s Restaurant, pero pabalik na ako. PInagbalot na lang kita ng favourite mo so hintayin mo na lang ako dyan.
Gerald: Ah Okey, di ka kasi nagtext so nagalaala ako. Sino kasama mo?
Sarah looked at Ate Nhila who shakes her head. Don’t worry Babe, mga babae at girlalu ang kasama ko, kasama si Ate Anna. Just wait for me there, saglit na lang yun rehearsal then we can go out for early dinner. Wala ka bang schedule today.
Gerald: Wala Babe, nagalala lang ako. Kasi naman di pa rin natin kilala kung sino yun stalker mo so kailangan nagiingat tayo. By the way, hindi ka ba ginambala nito ngayon.
Sarah: Hindi naman, saka marami kaming kasama, so whoever he is di niya ako puedeng lapitan. Then sa amin kaya itong Imo’s so may body guard ditto no. Babe, may ididiscuss pala ako sa iyo mamaya. So hintayin mo na ako dyan, okey. Love you babe.
Gerald: I love you too so much.. Ingat ha, hintayin ko yan pabalot mo, gutom na rin ako eh.
At the studio, Gerald asked around kung may ibang kasama si Sarah, and they told him na sina Gelai at ibang dancers ang kasama niya. Wala raw kasing baon si Sarah and said na lumabas na lang para kumain sa Imo’s Restuarant. Yun isang tao na kararating lang ay nadinig ang kanilang pag-uusap, nanghinayang, saying, kung naaga-aga siya ng dating baka nakasama pa siya sa Imos at nasolo niya si Sarah. Hirap talagang makakuha ng kasangga sa mga katrbaho ni Sarah, sobrang protective sila dito. Well, mukha na naman, makakasinggit siya dahil alam niyang may problema na si Gerald sa management nito. Alam na niya how to discredit si Gerald sa mata ng mga nagmamahal kay Sarah. Mayamaya, nakita na niya dumarating ang grupo nina Sarah. Ang ganda talaga ng prinsesa, she is really every man’s dream.
Gerald then saw her coming and immediately approached her and hugged her tightly, forgetting their audience gave her an intimate kiss. Sarah pinched him on his side, as she burrowed her head sa chest nito, saying, nakakahiya, ang daming audience. Gerald lifted her head and hold it with his hands saying how much he loves her and give her another smack on her lips.
Gelai: Hoy, love birds, mamaya nyo na ituloy yun romantic episode ninyo, mamatay na kami sa kilig dito. Everyone laughed and jested them, which made Sarah conscious.
Sarah: Ikaw talaga Gerald, tingnan mo tuloy naging topic tuloy tayo ng tuksuhan. Lagot ka naman sa management mo pag nalaman nila ito. Then she felt Gerald suddenly tensed as he looked at her.
Gerald: Huwag mo na lang silang intindihin. Eh sa namiss kita ng sobra. Kasi next time, inform me kung saan ka po pupunta. Oh nasan na yun pabalot mo, samahan mo muna akong kumain. He got hold of her waist as they entered her dressing room.
Ang hindi alam ng dalawa, somebody took a picture of them showing only the face of Gerald at nakatalikod si Sarah. Ngingiti-ngiti ito habang palabas ng studio. Got you Gerald, madali na itong maphotoshop to distort the truth so di nila malalaman na si Sarah yun girl. Habang palabas, tinext niya ang isang contact niya sa press na madaling mabayaran for the scoop news na ipapa-fabricate niya against Gerald.
Inside the dressing room, Gerald look at Sarah as she prepares the food for him. Babe, kangina nabanggit mo yun management ko. Bakit may alam ka ba?
Sarah: Wala pa naman but may kailangan ka bang sabihin sa akin. Di ba we promise each other na walang lihiman. Kung may problema, we will solve it together. Himig may pagtatampo si Sarah which made Gerald immediately hugged her saying sorry.
Gerald: Sorry babe, I just don’t want you to worry. You are more important to me than anything else. I’ll tell you everything and show you the memo later sa dinner natin. Please don’t be mad at me, di ko kakayanin. He hug her tightly while kissing her head.
Sarah wiggled to loosen his hold and face him, then hold her face and looking straight to his eyes: Babe, when I commit myself to you, I prayed it will be for forever, so like you hindi ako susuko just because may problema, but as I;ve said earlier, we promise each other na kahit anong problema, we will solve it together, di ba. Hindi naman ako kailanangan ilagay sa pedestal, I know you have been sacrificing a lot for me and for that am so thankful at lalo kang napapamahal sa akin. But this time, Babe, nandito lang ako to help and support you all throughout the storm na pinagdadaanan mo. Besides, involved din kaya ako. Then she tap his nose as she keeps on holding his face. Okey Babe, then she gave him a smack on his lips. Promise, whatever it is, di kita iiwan.
Gerald: teary eyes as he put his head to touch her head. I love you so much Sarah, God knows how much, di ko na kakayanin ang mawala ka sa akin. Thank you for loving me too.
Sarah: Sus, tama na nga, pang MMK na ang drama natin dalawa. Rest ka muna ditto, tatapusin lang naming ang rehearsal then we can go. So Babe, relax lang and tried to sleep para ma-relax ka.
While on the other side, the mysterious guy is now talking with one showbiz reporter/blogger and gave him the distorted pictures with the write-ups. “Gerald Anderson seen kissing another girl...... Break na ba sila ni Ms. Sarah G”
The reporter looked at his source, is this for real, but instead of answering, the guy gives an envelope with money inside, and that stop the reporter from further inquisitions. They agreed that he will publish this on his website and will try to publish this on the daily tabloid. He was not able to determine the identity of the person he has transacted dahil nakashades ito at nakadisguise.
Somebody is calling Gerald... he has overslept dahil halos early morning na silang naghiwalay ni Sarah after their dinner last night. He told her everything and showed her all the memos he had received from Mr. M. They agreed na mag lay low sa mga public appearances nila together, but definitely, they will stick together and will support each other kahit na ano ang mangyari. Gerald had promised that this time, he will be more open about everything including his career. Sarah will also consult her lawyer and ask for opinion regarding his case and she said to Gerald that together they will talked with Mr. M.
Gerald: Hello, Bro., bakit ka napatawag? May problema ba?
Fred: Naku bro., nagkakagulo sa twitter world, may nagpost kasi at ti-nag ang blogger ng picture mo kissing somebody.
Gerald: Ha, biglang bangon at balikwas, anong blog, anong picture? Sino ang kahalikan ko. Ano ba naman iyan? Kaso Bro, wala akong account sa Twitter so how can i view it?
Fred: Okey Bro, punta na ako ngayon dyan. Call Sarah para di na siya magulat.
Gerald: Okey Bro, Thank you ha. I owe you again and again. After ending Fred’s call, he immediately call Sarah. Her phone is ringing and it was only on his 5th try that she answered.
Sarah who has just woke up notice her phone and immediately looked at and notice that Gerald has been calling her. Hello Babe, sorry, kagigising ko lang. Pinuyat mo kaya ako kagabi... Love you.
Gerald: Love you Babe, sorry, kung nagising kita, but something cropped up. So early today, nagising din ako sa call ni Fred, informing me about the negative issues about me na posted sa twitter. I just want to infotrm you para di ka na mashock, di ko pa nakikita but it is something na may kahalikan daw ako and it insinuate na break na tayo. It seems, the machineries is now doing their dirty tactics against us.
Sarah: Babe, just don’t mind them, alam natin ang totoo. We’ll face it together, relax ka lang ha. Hindi naman lahat ng fans ay maniniwala agad until we admit it. You know them na di ba? Ako nga I will not bother to read it.
Gerald: Hay, dyan naman ako bilib sa iyo Babe, You take things likely at wala talagang masamang damo sa iyo. Lalo tuloy kita minamahal. Love you bae, sige tulog ka na lang uli, susunduin na lang kita around 2:00 p.m.. for our audience with Mr. M. Love you.
Sarah: sige, tulog ka din uli, and let’s meet in our dreams. Love you Babe.
At the ABS Studio, Mrs. Charo called Mr. M and asked about the issue. Mr. M denied having any hand in the negative issues release against Gerald. She reminded him na hindi nila kailangan mag-resort sa dirty gimmick just to let our artist follow your directives. Alam mo yan Mr. M. We value respect and privacy of our artist. So try to do something about this bago nito tuluyan sirain si Gerald.
Sarah and Gerald arrived in the office and requested to have an audience with Mr. M. The secretary told them that he is still at the office of Ms. Charo. Gerald asked if they can joined in the meeting with Ms. Charo, which the secretary immediately relayed to the secretary of Ms. Charo. After 5 minutes, they got a confirmation and they proceeded sa office ni Ms. Charo.
Sarah and Gerald: Good Afternoon Mam. Sorry po for interrupting you meeting but we do appreciate na inaccommodate ninyo kami. This is not an official matter but more on personal po. At least po nandito si Mr. M to hear us out.
Gerald: Mam. Sorry po if I am somehow nagiging pasaway sa mga directives ni Mr. M, but my principels can no longer tolerate yun blatantly violation ng aking pagkatao. Today showed how large scale ang network ninyo to do things just to pressure me na sumunod kahit labag sa kalooban ko. Sana po maintintihan ninyo ang kalagayan ko. I have told everything po kay Sarah because she has the right to know dahil we are already committed with each other. She understand you stand and even advice me to talk with you and compromise. Ms. Charo: Thank you Sarah, and I am impress sa maturity mo in facing this kind of issues. Sorry kung pati ikaw ay na-involved. Gerald, I just want to let you know, na pinagsabihan ko na si Mr. M. About this and kaya nga siya nandito, asking him about his involvement sa mga negative issues na lumabas ngayon sa social network maligning you and your relationship with Sarah.
Mr. M: sorry Gerald for being harsh the last time we talk, medyo pressure lang talaga. But I am crossing my heart, God knows wala akong alam about the source and who spread that malicious article about you, even teh [pictures seem to be distorted.
Gerald: Puede ho bang Makita, actually di pa po naming nababasa ang issue dahil wala naman akong account sa Twitter and Sarah has deactivated her account so di po naming na-access ito.
Mr. M showed them the picture, the face of Gerald is so clear but the girl is in silhouette so hindi maidentify. Sarah upon seeing it laughed and namula. She pinched Gerald on his side and whispered, “yan babe, nasa headline na tayo, ikaw kasi.
Ms. Charo: Bakit Sarah, ikaw bay un girl na kahalikan ni Gerald, parang malayo kasi medyo chubby yun girl eh ikaw naman ay sexy at may curves.
Gerald looked again and smiled... Oo nga Babes, this was taken the other day dito sa studio . So they narrated the incident kay Mam Charo. The issue now is who among those present sa studio ang kumuha ng pictures nila and sell it to this reporter/blogger and make negative story about it. At a glance, di talaga halata na si Sarah yun kasama ni Gerald, lalo na at medyo na-photoshop yun picture ng girl.
Ms. Charo: Sarah, Gerald, thank you for coming over and shed lights on this issue. Ngayon, Mr. M, I would like to ask ano ang concern mo with regards to the projects ni Gerald. They are here now to listen to you and then afterwards let us make an agreement on the strategies you wanted Gerald to do.
Mr. M narrated the details and requirements for the frozen projects of Gerald. Ms. Charo just listen and afterwards Gerald stated his opinion.
Ms. Charo: After hearing all the details, can I asked something from both of you Sarah? Are you and Gerald already a couple?
Sarah answered her without butting an eyelash... yes Mam, we are already a couple. I accepted him as my boyfriend, my special someone after he has proven to me his worth and sincerity to be trusted. Ms. Charo: Sarah alam ba ni Boss Vic ang situation mo. Does he allows you to enter into this relationship? As far as we know, nasa contract mo yun na di ka pa puedeng magka-boyfriend until you reach the age of 25.
Sarah: Yes po Mam., we talked with him and as my second father, he understands na when it comes to the heart hindi kayang pigilan. Basta na lang itong mararamdaman and voila di mo na ito kayang pigilin. He just advice us na maghinay-hinay and just enjoy the moment, kasi mga bata pa kami. Kasi po akala niya, magpapakasal na kami. Ito ho kasing si Gerald, atat. Nag-propose na po kasi agad-agad.
Ms. Charo: So ibig sabihin engaged na kayo. Sarah showing them her engagement ring nodded.
Ms. Charo: Ang bilis nga Gerald, you are that sure about your feelings.
Gerald: Opo naman, when I decided to court her, sobrang pinagisipan ko po, kasi Sarah is not just an ordinary girl, she is wife material at sobrang suerte ng lalaki na sasagutin niya so na-promise ko po sa sarili ko, na if I will be lucky enough to get her trust and love, there will be no turning back for me. Siguro naman po you have heard my past life, sobrang walang direction, walang focus. She has given me that focus, that direction to be man enough for my family, learn to respect other’s feelings and most of all to learn to trust God.
Mr. M: Sorry Sarah, I didn’t realize na malalim ka pala. You have this innate personality na hindi alam ng mga tao. Ang suerte mo pala talaga, Gerald, now I realize why you are going to move heaven and earth just to stick and fight for her.
Ms. Charo: Okey, Gerald, don’t worry, we will look into this fiasco and will clear your name. But as you have requested, we will remained silent as to the status of your relationship. Let the public know na nasa courtship stage pa lang kayo for you to enjoy your privacy. Pero avoid doing any public display of affection, medyo i-control mo, ano nga ‘yon term na ginamit mo Sarah. “Atat”. Let me congratulate you both for showing such maturity in handling your relationship. Basta Ninang ako sa kasal ninyo ha.
Sarah and Gerald: Thank you po Mam. Tama po pala ang sabi nila na sobrang understanding at mabait kayo. It is really an honor for us to be part of this family.
They bade goodbye with all their concerns already resolved. Samantala sa social network, nagkakaroon na ng palitang ng opinion ang mga nakikisawsaw sa issue.
Everything ends well, sa bawat problema, kailangan open and communication line to settle whatever issues bago pa ito lumaki. The ABS management issued an advisory negating the earlier blogs released and their lawyer is looking into the possibility of suing the reporter and the newspaper editor who have published the malicious news about Gerald.
Gerald was informed na the blogger is using so many accounts para mailigaw ang source nito. Almost all of the sies ay public Internet Cafe sa iba't ibang luhgar sa Metro Manila. Nagkaroon na ng kutob sila ni Sarah na connected ito sa stalker nito. Ibig sabihin, isa sa mga tao na malapit sa kanila ang possible na stalker ni Sarah. may naisip na ang dalawa paano ito ma-entrap.
Sa buhay pag-ibig hindi ito smooth sailing, there are times na may misunderstanding na mangyayari na kung hindi pag-uusapan ay magiging mitsa ng possible na hindi pagkakaunawan which will test how deep their feelings for each other. marami pang unos ang pagdadaaanan pero pag nalusutan, then it is indeed True Love which is for forever.
