Apart from me being terrified that every guy I seen was Zach, soundcheck went good. The show is gonna be really great, I just hope I'm there and get the witness it firsthand. When we got back to our dressing room it was 3pm, and we start the meet and greet session of our day at 5pm. We have an hour and a half to meet with as many fans as possible, and then we have thirty minutes to get ready for the show. Oh and I also need to be on the look out for my psycho human trafficking, best friend murdering ex boyfriend who just so happens to be somewhere around here. I honestly have no idea what I'm gonna do when I see him. Faint or pee my pants are the most realistic and likely options. We have 2 hours until the meet and greets start and I have no plans to leave this dressing room. As long as me -and the guys- stay in here we're safe. The guys. Should I tell them Zach is here? No, if they know they'll just freak out and I'm not entirely certain what Zach's plan is yet. What about Caden? I think I can tell him. "Hey Caden, can I talk to you for a second?" I asked calmly and nodded my heads toward the door. I know I said I didn't plan on leaving the room, but I don't know how Caden is going to respond so it's probably best that I tell him somewhere secluded. We ended up in the bathroom. "What's going on?" He asked obliviously. I checked all the stalls and made sure we were alone before turning to look at him. I didn't know how to say it, but luckily I didn't have to. "He's here. Isn't he?" Caden whispered. He must have guessed from the look on my face and my behavior in the dressing room. I nodded my head. "Alright. You and the guys stay in the dressing room, I'll go call the cops." He turned to leave but I jumped in front of the door to block his path. "No. Wait." I didn't know how to explain my actions to Caden. "Wait? For what? Aria there's a murderer wandering around waiting for you!" His voice got louder at the end. "I know!" I yelled then took a deep breath. "Listen to me. Listen to me like you've never listened to anyone before." I ordered. He looked at me. "Zach is not going to hurt me. Believe me when I tell you that. He has this notion that he can get me back. That's why he's here. He wants me to be with him." I started. "Now, if I know him, and I do, he's going to find a way to get to me tonight. It might be here, or at home, but he didn't contact me just to ruffle my feathers again. Tonight is the night Caden. Now, I can guarantee that if he makes contact here, he won't take me. He'll wait until I'm more vulnerable. So tonight after the show, I'll suggest we all stay at Tom's house. Then after the guys fall asleep, I'll take a cab back to my apartment where Zach will follow me there." I sighed. "I will invite him in, be a respectful hostess, we'll talk, he will probably take things to a certain level, but as long as I cooperate with him, I will be fine and he will leave. He says he won't but he will." I finished. All Caden could do was look at me. He looked scared. I took a step and wrapped my arms around him. He squeezed me back and we hugged each other for a few moments before I pulled away. "I need you to trust me." I whispered. He nodded his head and wiped a tear away. "I trust you." His voice cracked and he cleared his throat. We both straightened up and walked back to the dressing room like nothing was wrong. When we walked inside, the guys were sprawled around the room, Tom was strumming on his guitar, and that's how we spent the remainder of our time until it was time for the meet and greets. Me and the guys went to the lobby of the building where we were greeted with cameras and a handful of crew members that were going to help make tonight happen. We waited patiently as the first girl arrived. We got individual pictures and one group picture with her, and she got all of our autographs. This happened with every other girl that stepped through the door. Endless pictures and autographs. I was so happy when one of the crew members announced that this was the last fan of the day. Not that I didn't like meeting the fans, it's just my hand hurt from writing so much and my cheeks ached from all the fake smiling. When the final fan walked into the room they immediately stuck out. It was a guy. I couldn't see his face but he was big. Really big. He had to be older than-- oh my God. The closer he got the easier it was to notice. It was Zach. He's here. Right in front of me. And the boys. Oh my god. Please just don't do anything Zach. "Hey what's up man. What's your name?" Casey smiled and shook Zach's hand. "My names Ryan." He smiled. My knees went weak and I felt like crying. How could someone be so twisted? "Well Ryan it's nice to meet you. I have to say, you don't look like the rest of our fans." Casey and the others chuckled. So did Zach. "I imagine not." He was being friendly. "Nonetheless, I'm Casey, this is Barclay, Chris, Tom, Reece, Charlie, Jake, James, and Aria." Casey pointed to all of us and Zach took turns shaking all of our hands. When he got to me, his eyes locked with mine and every memory we share raced through my mind. It took everything I had not to turn and run."It's nice to meet you." He said, looking only at me. He was pretending he didn't know me. "You too." I played along. In order not to raise suspicion, Zach got pictures with all of us and got our autographs. "How about a number too?" He winked at me and all the guys laughed. "You're gonna have to fight this one for her." Casey wrapped his arm around James's shoulder and ruffled his hair. "Is that so?" Zach looked from James to me. "No, he's just kidding." I stammered and the guys looked at me weirdly. "Anyway, I'm sorry but we have to go get ready. It was nice to meet you Za- Ryan." I choked out the name and quickly walked passed him. Thankfully the boys followed closely behind me. When we reached the dressing room I quickly shut the door and took a deep breath after all of us were securely inside. "What the hell was that?" Casey asked me. "What was what?" I played dumb. "Why did you practically run away from that guy?" Caden looked at me as soon as he heard the words 'that guy.' "I just...wanted to make sure we had enough time to get ready." I lied. The boys rolled their eyes but they all turned away and started getting ready. I looked over at Caden and with a slight nod of my head, I let him know that Zach had made contact.
