Tuesday morning
Jungkook's POV
"Ara isn't in her room" Jimin's words made me look at him with utter confuse.
"She must be downstairs" I mumbled before leaning on the bed.
"No! She isn't downstairs. I checked every room! Suga, joon and hobi is sleeping. And the kitchen is vacant. I checked the main door. It's locked from outside" Jimin confessed.
"No way!" I mumbled.
"You must haven't checked clearly," tae said.
"No! Go and check" tae raised his left eyebrow before jogging outside the room followed by me and jimin.
We tiptoed across the room to the corridor. It was eerily quiet in the house, not even the faint sound of a clock ticking could be heard.
We entered her room and silence greeted us.
"Ara! You there?" I asked knocking on her bathroom door. No reply. I twisted the doorknob as it flew open. The bathroom was empty.
"She isn't here" I muttered.
"What if she is in your rooms" tae said to me and jimin.
"Oh I didn't check there," jimin said.
We all walked to jimin's room and it was vacant too. Confused, we all jogged to my room, it was also vacant. We all shared looks before running downstairs, straight to the kitchen before switching the lights on. We scanned the whole kitchen and failed in finding her. Now we are supposed to check on hyung's rooms.
As jin's room is closed, she won't be there. Our next target was namjoon's room as his room was the closest to the kitchen after jin's.
We switched off the light before tiptoeing towards Joon's room.
We did our best at keeping quiet, aware that some of the guys were light sleepers and it would be extremely difficult to come up with an excuse as to why we are sneaking around the house.
I slowly opened Joon's door revealing a sleeping joon. We closed the door as we got no signs of ara being there.
We then walked to yoongi's room, which was surprisingly opened.
"Yah jimin! Why did you let yoongi's door opened?" I whisper yelled.
"It was already opened" jimin whispered back.
"He must've left it opened after checking whether we're sleeping or not" tae whispered.
We all peeked inside. And found a sleeping figure of suga wrapped with a blanket. I turned around and looked at tae and jimin before walking to hobi's room with great expectation.
I gulped before twisting the doorknob as hobi is the lightest sleeper among us.
We all peeked inside and found a sleeping hobi. My breath hitched as I saw hobi moving but soon sighed in relief as I heard slight snores. I closed the door before turning to tae and jimin.
"Didn't I told you! Look at the main door" jimin whispered.
We walked to the main door before twisting the doorknob. To our dismay, it was locked and the key wasn't there in the keyhole.
"Shit! Is she even in her sense?" I cussed under my breath.
"I swear if something happens to her, I will kill you jungkook" tae yelled at me before grabbing his shoe, jogging outside the house through the door in the living room with jimin. I watched them in awe Before following them after wearing my shoes. We all were in sweatpants and sweatshirts.
Kill me? I didn't do anything wrong
"Why the hell you wanna kill me for?" I enquired.
"If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have said no to her" Tae said walking.
"So? " I asked
"Don't you dare try my patience jungkook! Am not in the mood right now" Tae said sternly while walking. I didn't reply knowing he is fuming.
After walking for what felt like hours we came face to a convenience store.
"Tae, you sure it's here?" Jimin asked looking at the convenience store.
"It's near to jisoo's house though" he responded.
We all got inside the convenience store and started checking inside. No one was there. It had tables inside the store and there was only a guy there.
We all exited the store and started looking around.
"What now? Where will we go?" Jimin asked.
"Should we call her?" I asked.
"She didn't take her phone! I saw it in her room" jimin said.
"Wait- she said newly opened right?" Tae asked. Me and jimin watching tae in awe.
"Look over there" I turned my gaze to where tae's index finger is pointing at and ended on an electric post.
"Look at that poster," tae said walking to the post. I and Jimin followed tae to the post and saw a poster stuck on it, which says :
' newly opened convenience store
지하 396 Gangnam-daero, seocho-Dong, seocho-gu, Seoul, South Korea '
And a photo of the store.
"It must be the store she talked about" Tae said.
"Ya, it is" I and jimin said in unison before looking at each other.
We didn't waste any time and ran to the store.
"I hope that dumbo won't do anything stupid" I spoke while running.
"She? Ara? Not doing something stupid for a minute? Pigs would be flying then" jimin stated.
After running for minutes we reached the store. we can see inside through the glass. And inside,there was a stupid ara eating ramen alone at a table.
"There she is" jimin said. I stomped inside.
"Yaah you shithead, are you out of your fucking mind?" I yelled at her knocking on her head. She looked up.
"Yaaay! Who do you think you are-- jungkook? " She asked furrowed eyebrows.
"Why the hell are you here? " Tae asked.
"As I said, to eat ramen" She said with an annoyed tone.
"You want some?" She asked showing some towards us.
Is she real?
"Is it good?" Jim asked sitting on a chair beside her, taking a bite from her ramen.
I and tae took a seat across her, watching her.
"Ara" I called.
"Hm" She responded.
"Is someone forcing you? " I asked.
"Force me to do what? " She spoke while eating.
"To come here! Like why would you come here late at night? It's not like you" I stated.
"Like the shop owner is telling me that if I don't eat his ramen, he is going to make a stew with me? " She asked.
"Nothing! You keep eating"
"Why did you come here alone?" Tae asked.
"Exactly!" I said sternly.
"Aren't you the guys who refused to come with me? " She raised her eyebrow.
"Didn't we refuse it for a reason?" Jimin asked.
"Really? " She asked sarcastically.
"And who told you that I came here alone?" She asked making me raise my eyebrow.
"What do you mean? Joon, hobi and yoongi are at home and jin Hyung is at Incheon! Then who did you come here with?" I asked suspiciously. She smirked.
"Yah kim yoongi" She yelled.
Kim yoongi?
"For your fucking information, I am your elder brother, so fucking respect me" A voice was heard from the other side of the shelf.
What? Isn't that yoongi?
"Y-yoongi? " Jimin shuttered.
"W-what's going on? " I questioned.
"Do you expect me to come here alone? I am not that brave though" She said taking another bite of her ramen.
"Jungkook? Jimin? Tae? What're you guys doing here? " We all looked at the yoongi with a box of ramen with him.
"B-but we saw you sleeping" Jimin said.
"Oh that? "Ara asked chuckling.
FLASHBACK
Ara's POV
" So we ain't going? " I asked emotionless.
"Yeah" Tae said.
"Hm" I hummed exiting tae's room.
Why the hell did he ask me to change then? that shithead must've said something to tae.
I stomped to my bathroom before washing my face. It was easy as I didn't use any makeup.
I mean why use makeup when you're born pretty? Just kidding! It's Just I am not a big fan of cosmetic and it's night though.
I was about to change into my pyjamas but then I remembered yoongi.
He did tell me to tell everything to him , he is a good listener ,he would be there for me and all.
It's time to use it.
I smirked before going downstairs, to yoongi's room.
"Yoongi Oppa" I said knocking on the door as Yoongi would always lock his door.
I kept knocking on the door in a certain rhythm.
"Oppaa opaaa oppaaa" after knocking for what felt like years, the door opened revealing a sleepy yoongi.
"Jungkook? Jimin?"
"No, it's me ara" I spoke. Yoongi turn on the light in his room.
"Ara? What's wrong?" he said in a sleepy, soft Voice.
"Will you come with me to the convenience store?" I asked.
"You should've asked it tomorrow! Why in the middle of sleep?" He asked.
"No, I want to go now" I whined.
"Now? It's past midnight"
"I know"
"Why you wanna go there now?" He doubted. Still sleepy. I was still in the corridor.
"To eat rame--" before I can complete my sentence, he closed the door on my face.
Rude.
Thank god he didn't lock it, cause guess what? I am going to annoy him.
I opened the door and got in.
"Oppaaaa"
"Go and sleep ara! Don't you have school tomorrow?" The last words weren't clear, indicating that he is almost asleep.
" yoongi Oppa?" I said shaking him.
"Araa"
"Oppa, didn't you told me that you will be there for me when I need"
"Hm" he hummed sleepily
"Then come with me" I said shaking him. he got up and sat on his bed.
"I meant like something urgent. But what's this? Ramen? Now? " He asked with a *are you serious* tone.
"Please? " I asked with big pleading eyes.
" Are you that desperate to eat ramen at the store now? "
"Hmm" He sighed and got up from his bed.
"Then let me change. Hm? "
"Jinja? Are you coming? Woah Oppa saranghae" I said showing him finger hearts.
"Yaya! Now go out of my room, let me change" I gave him a flying kiss before dashing outside.
Woah! I am lucky to have him as my brother.
Just sometime later yoongi came out of his room.
"Wait!" I said as I went inside his room.
"You wanna play basketball too" He asked when he saw me grabbing his basketball.
"Nah" I said placing it on his bed, below the pillow before grabbing another pillow and placing it vertically to the other pillow. He watched me in awe as I placed the blanket over it.
"What're you doing?" Yoongi asked.
"Now, if someone peeps into your room, they will think you're sleeping" I said pointing at the basketball+ pillow which do look like a sleeping dude.
He ohd and turned around and walked to the bowl of keys. He was about to take the key of his motorbike when I spoke.
"No! No vehicle! Can we walk? It would be great"
"Walk? " He raised his eyebrow.
"Hmm. Yup" I said dragging him to the main door. We both wore our shoes. He opened the door and locked it from outside as we got outside.
"Shouldn't we leave it unlocked? What if others want to go out?" I asked.
"They can go out through the door in the living room" I nodded in reply.
We walked through the road by the light from streetlights. Even though yoongi was walking like normal, I wasn't. I was skipping and hopping.
"Ara! Walk normally! And stop skipping, you gonna fall" yoongi scolded me. I gave him my all so famous innocent bunny smile in response.
Then I saw an old lady sitting on the bench at the bus stop.
"Ajumma [lady], what're you doing here, at this hour? " I enquired.
"Am waiting for my son to pick me, dear. He is on the way" That lady said smiling at me. I ohed in reply.
"Is he your brother? " asked the lady.
"Ya! Isn't he Handsome?
"Hm! He is so beautiful dear, just like you" that lady said. I blushed at her response.
"So we will get going" yoongi bowed at her before dragging me with him.
"She called me pretty! Wwoaaahhhhhhh that's so cool"
"Which store are we going to? That convenience store is on this way" yoongi said pointing at the road on our left side in confusion as I was leading him through the road in the right side .
"Nah! to the newly opened store" I declared.
"Wanna have a match?" I asked.
"Match?"
"Ya, the first one to reach there, can have a wish"
"Hmm, sounds fun," yoongi said.
"You know I am faster than you right? And like others I don't run slower just cause you're my sister" He said.
"I did many moves to increase my speed , with jungkook and not sister. It's pretty sister " I stated proudly.
"Whatever! Should we start?" He asked, I nodded. We both stood on the road, ready to run.
"Hana! Dul! Set!" The moment yoongi said set, we both ran to the store.
[ Hana! Dul! Set!: One! Two! Three!]
"First~ I am first. Oppa lost" I cooed when I reached the store before yoongi.
"How" *panting* "did" *panting* "you" *panting* "beat" *panting* "me?" Yoongi asked each word between of panting.
"Told ya!" I said proudly.
"Why are you not tired?" Yoongi asked panting.
"My stamina is good," I said walking inside the store to the stack of ramen.
The moment I opened the door, the bell rang indicating a new customer has entered.
"Wow! There are plenty of flavours" I said to myself.
"Oppaa, you want a cup of ramen?" I yelled.
"Noo" he yelled back from the other side.
Hmm. Which will I choose? Hot chicken? Cheese hot chicken?
After looking at the stack for almost a minute, I took the cup of spicy hot chicken flavoured ramen.
"Here" I spoke while handing the money to the shop owner. He accepted it and gave me my change. I said a quick thank you and walked to the ramen machine, before opening the cup of ramen. I placed it down on the machine and pressed the 'start cooking ' button. Seconds later the water in the cup, which was poured seconds ago from the machine started to boil. I stirred my ramen and took it to the table where yoongi was waiting for me.
"Tadaa" I said placing the bowl on the table .
" Eat fast, so that I can go and sleep" Yoongi said yawning.
"So about my wish" I said taking a bite of my ramen.
"Hmm. What's it? " He asked.
"Hmm. Tomorrow, can me and jungkook go to school by bus?" I asked. They never allowed us to go by bus, saying that there are many perverts on the bus. *mentally eye rolling*
I've been on the bus before! But only 2 times. Both were with jin Oppa. As they never allowed me to use the public bus when I was very young, I was curious all time. And one day, I kept bugging jin to take me to the bus And after suffering from my annoying self all day long, he agreed to take me and he did. I pretty much did like the bus. So I asked him to take me the next weekend too. And he agreed with it too. But who knows a creepy, bald grandpa would be there to stare at me and Oppa? And that was my last time entering a bus.
"Why bus out of all?" Yoongi asked.
" cause why not?"
"Another wish ara! Don't you remember that creepy dude, you and jin met?"
"It was years ago Oppa! And that guy won't be there on every bus, waiting for me!" I said munching the chewy noodle
" who knows" yoongi said shrugging.
"And eat fast, I wanna sleep" he said pointing at my cup of ramen.
"Oppa, you should try taking a bite too, this is so good" I said showing some towards him but He denied it.
"Yaah just try some! And no need to take another but, if you didn't like them" I said showing my cup of ramen towards him. He sighed and took a bite.
"Hmmm it's too good" he said in delight. am gonna buy one too" he said walking to stack on the other side.
"Spicy hot Chicken right?" He asked. I yelled a 'yaa' and took another bite of my ramen. I was munching my ramen in delight when suddenly someone knocked on my head followed by a "yaah shithead, are you out of your fucking mind?"
I was so angry that I yelled a "yaay! Who do you think you are" that's when I saw his face?
"Jungkook?"
END OF FLASHBACK
Ara's pov
"So that was a basketball? " Jimin asked in between eating. I nodded in reply.
"And a pillow too" Jungkook added.
"You guys didn't answer my question" Yoongi said taking the last seat which was between tae and jungkook.
"Uh? "
"Why are you here?" Yoongi repeated.
"Ara asked us to come here with her but we refused and jimin went to cheer her but she wasn't at home" Jungkook said.
"Cheer up my ass" I muttered.
"And you came here in search of her?" Yoongi asked taking a bite of his ramen followed by tae to take one bite from yoongi's ramen.
After I and yoongi finished ramen we exited the shop to our home.
"Jungkook," I said walking from tae to him.
"What?" He asked while walking, not paying attention to me.
"When I and yoongi were walking to the store, there was a lady there" I said pointing at the bus stop.
"Hmm then?"
"And she told me, am pretty" I said with 👇🏻 face
(Just think jk have long hair🤡)
"She did?"
"Hmm and that ajumma was so pretty too" I declared.
"And I and yoongi had a race who to reach the store first and the one to win got to have a wish" I stated.
"And you won. Hmm?"
"How did you know?" I asked with wide eyes.
"I ain't seeing him today!" Jungkook muttered.
"What do you mean? Oppa is fast"
"And what was your wish?" He asked ignoring my question.
"I asked yoongi Oppa whether can we go to school by bus or not" I whispered.
"Did he allow?" Jungkook asked with wide eyes. Happiness was written all over his face.
"He didn't say yes either no"
"Uh?"
"He asked me to change my wish" I whispered.
"Yoongi Hyung! Can we use a bus tomorrow?" Jungkook asked the yoongi who was in the other end.
"No"
"I have one wish left remember?" I asked.
"Other wish ara"
"Wish?" Tae questioned.
"What wish?" Jimin asked.
"Aah! Do you know? I and Oppa had a race and the one to win got to have a wish"
"And you won right?" Jimin and tae said the same thing, same time.
"How do you know?" I asked suspiciously.
"Everyone with a brain can understand it" jimin said ruffling my hair.
Huh?
"Yoongi Hyung! Can we?"
"Oppa! The wish would be mine! And my wish is to allow us to use the bus. Please" he didn't answer.
"Oppaa"
"Hyungggg"
"Opppppaa"
"
Hyuuuung"
"Opppaaaa"
"Hyungggg"
"Opppaaaa"
"Hyungggg"
"Opppppaa"
"Yaya! Go! I don't care" yoongi said annoyed. me a jungkook smirked at each other before having a dramatic high five.
"You allowed! Now no turn back" I stated.
"Yaya" yoongi said opening the gate. Of our house. We all got inside and closed the gate. I was about to follow others to the main door. But something got my attention.
"O-oppaa" I said grabbing jungkook's hand who was about to pass me.
"Hmm?"
"What's wrong?" Jimin asked. Now everyone's gaze was lingering on me.
"Look at the balcony," I said pointing at the balcony. everyone turned to the balcony and gasped. There was a figure on the balcony rails trying to get to the balcony.
