Alice's POV
After I shot ice out of my hand everyone was taken back. Given I was too.
'It can't be. Could it?' Thor turned to Odin
'I don't know, I haven't seen anything like this before' Odin said then walking up to me.
He went to lift my hand but stopped 'may I?' He asked. I nodded in response.
He lifted my hand and examined it. He whispered words I didn't understand but nothing happened.
'I don't think it's to do with frost giants' he said then sitting my hand down gently
Everyone sat and discussed what it could be and to be honest I felt completely left out of the conversation. But then a guard came in.
'Your highnesses, we have him. He's in the dungeon. Highly guarded as requested' he bowed down
'Have who?' I asked finally having the attention of everyone
'Adrian. He was staying in Asgard. Now that we have him we question him and keep him locked up' Thor said
'Wait your telling me the man who kidnapped her was staying here and she had spoke with him?' My dad asked clearly annoyed
'No, well yes and no but we have reason to believe it was thanos that took her and adrian was just part of the plan' Odin said
'I'll kill them' he mumbled
After a while they all left and it was only me and Loki in the room
'I'm kinda hungry' I looked at him
'Don't even think about asking me for sweets. Your having actual food' god he's such a buzz kill
'... wow okay then' I tried to hold in a smile
After a few seconds we both started to laugh.
I loved moments like this with him.
'Seriously though what do you want to eat and I'll have something made for you'
'Anything really'
'Okay, a rat stuffed with broccoli sound good?'
I burst out laughing. 'Your not funny!!'
After a few minutes we finally agreed on soup. He left to go to go to the kitchen to have someone make it because he couldn't cook to save his life.
My dad came in a shortly after Loki left.
'So where's prince of reindeers?' He asked coming to me
'Be niceee. And he's away to the kitchen to get me soup'
'I am being nice. Didn't he tell you that we put everything behind us?'
I couldn't hide the smile on my face
'Really!'
'Yup. And he also told me the story of the puffy ballgown'
I put my head in my hands and shook my head 'nooooo'
'Yessss'
'In my defence dad that dress was horrible. It looked like a mermaid threw up on it like I understand it was a ball for the sea or whatever but jezzz'
Then in came Loki with my soup
'Aw please tell me your still not going on about that dress, for the 800th time it wasn't that bad'
'Loki. It was light blue with orange highlights and had starfish all over it...'
He and my dad both started to laugh
'Here. Eat, we need to get you on your feet again' Loki said giving me my soup
'Tony, I assume you all will be staying for the rest of the festival?'
'Yup' he said popping the P
We sat and they told embarrassing stories of me while I ate my soup. I was glad they were getting along but I was dying of embarrassment.
'Okay I'm not listening to you two anymore' I said sitting the empty bowl down on the side table and swing my legs over the bed. I'm feeling a lot better.
'Woahh. Lay down kiddo' my dad said taken hold of my arm
'I will... just in my bedroom. Come on, I'll show you it, bet it's nicer than yours' I laughed
When I stood Loki immediately wrapped his arm around me and we all walked to my bedroom.
I opened the door and walked in with the two.
'Well shit. Yours is nicer than mine'
'Perks of dating a royal' I giggled
'Right, I'll leave you two be. I'll see you in the morning'
'Night dad'
And he left.
Loki and I sat on the couch. I had my head on his shoulder.
'Are you feeling okay?' He asked
'Yeah fine. I've something on my mind though'
'What is it'
'Adrian. Have you heard if anyone's spoke with him yet?'
He went quiet.
'Well... have you' I said then sitting up straight and turning to look at him.
'All I know is he's locked up. No ones spoke with him, no one really knows he's down there other than everyone who was in the room when the guard came in.'
'Oh'
'Your safe. Especially with me here' he had his smug little smile.
I leaned back down to lay on him but I couldn't stop my mind from wondering. What powers do I actually have? What if Adrian was being nice to me and speaking to me all as part of a plan to take me away again?
'Loki?'
'Mhm'
'We desperately need to find out what powers I have' I sighed
'I know, trust me' he said playing with my hair.
'How will we find out'
'Me and Thor have a couple ideas but we're not sure which one to settle on'
'What are they'
Almost as if it was planned Thor knocked on my door
'Alice! Alice are you in there!' He shouted
'Yes Thor. Come on in'
He came in. Clearly stressed out, the sweat on his forehead was very noticeable.
'Woah. What happened you?' I asked
'You! I thought you were taken'
'Oh... sorry. I should've left a note on the bed or something'
Loki just laughed
'Come brother. Sit and we can tell her about our more realistic plan' Loki said pointing his hand to where he should sit.
'Ah, plan A' He sat down and they both looked at me then at each other.
'So. Uh. We believe the man who you said has purple skin is thanos for multiple reasons' Thor began
'So we invited his daughters here' Loki said cutting to the point
My eyes widened.
'WHY!'
'They hate him more than anyone it's fine. They will know what powers you have.' Thor then jumped in trying to calm me down
'What if they are in league with him again!'
'They arnt trust us' Loki said
'How do you even know them'
They looked at eachother
'Friends from work?' Thor said
'They are avengers?' I asked
'They are a part of the guardians of the galaxy. We, as in me and Thor. Had a mission with them once and they owe us. Big time' Loki stated
'What's their names?'
'Nebula and gamora' they both said
