*Ash's POV*
The day has arrived. I need to show my best. I wanna be the very best like no one ever was. Never give up till its over. Always stand tall.
This words rang in my head over and over as I stood at the entrance with my Best buddy on my shoulder.
Ash: We need to do this!
Pikachu: Pika!!
I could already see the blasts and explosions from the current trainers battling with their pokemon.
Referee: Heliolisk is unable to battle! That means Tory from Gloria city in Kalos region wins. Tory moves forward to the Conference!
Soon its our turn to battle.
Anchor: Now we have Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town in the Kanto region versus Henry from Johto region!

*Serena's POV*
Tournament is gonna be today! I am so excited! I get up from my bed and head to the bathroom for an shower. As I am taking a shower. I hear the door close. I think that was Braixen.
As I come out of the shower I see a cheerleading costume laying on the bathroom counter
Serena: Where are my clothes!?
I hear a faint sound of giggling coming from downstairs. I sighed. As I head no extra pair of clothes, I put on the uniform reluctantly..
Serena: Why me, Dawn?
I let out a sigh and heard a squeal from Dawn.
Dawn: Eek! You look so cute!
I look at my uniform..
I wore a red and white High neck crop top and low red and white skirt. My stomach was showing from the outfit. I paired the look with white high heels and a red and white bow on top of my head. I had tied Ash's ribbon on my left wrist.
Serena: Why, Dawn?
Dawn: Oh, I wanted you to cheer for your Senpai, Serena.....
Serena: Then you should wear one for Paul too..
Dawn: Oh no no! It was specially for you not for me....
Serena: *grunts*
Dawn: Well, Let's go!!
I roll my eyes. We head to the stadium entrance. We see our group waiting for us.
Serena: Hey guys!!
Ash: Hey Serena- Wait why are you wearing that for?
Serena: Uhmm..
It is becoming more awkward and awkward. But Gary rescued me from it.
Gary: Rude Ashy-boy. You know you should never question girls about what they are wearing.
Gary shot me a wink 😉
Ash: But I didn't mean to be rude..
Gary: Apologize now!

Aww...His whole face is red with embarrassment
Serena: It's okay!
May: We head in now?

Misty: I am pumped up for my battle!

We head into the stadium then I remember I was told that I will be giving a performance at the beginning of the opening ceremony.
Serena: Guys, I have to go.
Iris: Why?
Serena: I have a performance to give.
Bonnie: Ooh Okay Good Luck!
May: Best of luck, Serena!
Ash: Do your best, Serena!
I blushed.
Everyone else: Good luck!
I waved them goodbye and head to the locker rooms. I take out my outfit from my bag and call my pokemon out.
Serena: Okay Guys, We will go as we practiced.
Braixen: Braix Braix!
Pancham: Pan Pan cham Pan!
Skitty: Meow!
Serena: Okay now, Let's get dressed!
My outfit:
My outfit was a jacket/top in colors of red, white, yellow and skirt matching the top. I paired the look with a pair of white and red high boots and same gloves. I also wore a flower garland/tiara on my head. I was holding a staff with dark pink ribbon.
Braixen wore a white top with red bow on its collar and her fire branch with red ribbon and a red marching hat.
Pancham wore a red hat too. While skitty wore a white and red bow.
Then heard a soft knocking on the door.
Serena: Come in!
The door creaks open and a lady with magenta hair with glasses wearing a white shirt with navy blue skirt comes in.
The Lady: Miss Serena Yvonne? You are up for your marching performance.
Serena: Okay, I am coming in!
We head towards the opening and I hear the host calling out my name.
Host: Ladies and Gentlemen! We now welcome Miss Serena Yvonne, who won the last performance in Postwick town, earning her first key in Galar region. And also she was extremely close from winning the precious title of Kalos queen! Today, she is going to perform for us!
Thinking that its my cue to go there and perform. I saw a gesture being made by the lady to go.
I head to the battlefield and start performing.
Serena: Let's do this, Guys!
Skitty: Meow!!
Braixen: Braix!
Pancham: Pan Pan!
Serena: Okay, Pancham, Shadow ball!!
Then I start dancing with Braixen and Skitty.
Serena: Ember, Braixen!
Serena: Skitty, Come here!
I extend my hand towards Skitty and she jumps high and does a backflip in midair. I take her small, soft, pink paws and turned her around. After few minutes, I end my performance.
The host: Now that was the most amazing opening pokemon performance I ever saw!! Please give a round of applause for Serena!
The crowd starts clapping.
Serena: Thank you!
I then exit the battleground premises and head to one of the changing rooms. I change of the dresss and back to cheerleading uniform because I didn't bring any other pair of clothes.
I then head to where my friends, Dawn, May, Shauna, Drew and Bonnie were sat.
Serena: Hey Guys!
May: Oh, Hi Serena!!
Drew: Awesome Performance By the way!
Bonnie: Your dress was so pretty!
Dawn: Cool Girl!
Serena: Thanks, Guys!
Dawn: I see you still wearing that dress.
Serena: Well I don't have a change of clothes and just wait till we get to our dorm.
She takes the hint and sits quietly.
The Host: Now for our first battle, we have Tory from Gloria City in Kalos and Marinette from Slateport city in Hoen!
Two Teenagers come out from the entrances and stand on their respective spots.
Referee: This is 2v2 battle between Marinette vs Tory. Remember there are no substitutions. May the Battle begin!
Tory: Heliolisk, Let's go!
Marinette: Milotic, Let's win!
*Time skip to Ash's turn😛😗*
The host: The next battle is between Ash Ketchum and Barry!
